Quick Take: effective spf, moisturizing
I've stocked up on this sunscreen every summer for as long as I can remember. I like the watery texture (shake well first!) - it's easy to apply and absorbs quickly. More importantly, it keeps my fair redhead skin from burning, and is moisturizing at the same time. I have sensitive skin and this product has never caused irritation. I usually prefer physical block sunscreens, but make an exception for this one, which contains a combo of physical and one chemical sunscreen, because it's lighter and leaves no white film. This is not a sweat proof or "sport" sunscreen but works perfectly fine for laying by the pool, lake, outdoor activities, gardening. I combine it with Shiseido's lip/eye sun stick.

Great waterproof sunscreen

I first tried this when one of my daughter's friends came with us to the water park & her mom told me how great it was & to try it. She also told me the price, so at first I thought, no way, I'll just keep using the non-oxybenzone stuff we put on our bodies. Well, my daughter and I decided to go ahead and try it, both having sensitive skin (she especially has reactions to many topical creams & lotions) and we were blown away by how wonderful this stuff worked and didn't irritate our skin. It does have a fragrance, and I don't care for fragrance in cosmetics but in this case the product's benefits definitely outweigh any issue I would have with the fragrance. I am prone to summertime freckles all over my face ever since childhood and this helped reduce that for the first time ever! We spent at least 3 days a week at a pool or waterpark throughout the summer and really put this to the test. Wish we could afford to use it all over, but for now it's our go-to waterproof sunscreen for the face. (For days when we don't need waterproof, I stick with my Clarins spf 40 sunscreen, love that one with or without makeup). I am always researching new products, but for sunscreens, I have finally found my personal favorites and wanted to share the experience.

This is the best sunscreen for my face I have ever tried. It doesn't get greasy, it doesn't cause break-outs, and it works. It may be a tad expensive, but it's worth it. The only thing I have to complain about is the scent, but it's not enough to make me stop using it.

I have used many brands of sunscreens. I live in Arizona, and I have to use apply sunscreen, while I have been disappointed on many sunscreens even cheep or expensive. This time I just searched the top rated sunscreen on Sephora, and I just ordered this one and another one which has SPF50+. THESE ARE SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT AND NON-OILY!!! I am gonna get the second bottle after I finished this.

I have finally found my HG daily sunscreen. I have very oily skin and have a hard time finding sunscreen that doesn't make it worse. I also have a problem with most moisturizers w/ SPF as they make my eyes water like mad. I absolutely love this stuff!!
Once you put it on, it absorbs nicely into the skin. It layers wonderfully under my foundation and primer. I will definitely be repurchasing again and again!!

My favorite sunscreen!

Quick Take: light, silky
I love this sunscreen and have been using it for years. Unlike other sunscreens, Shiseido's sunscreen is soft and silky, as opposed to the thicker textures I'm used to. It's light enough that I can layer it over my day moisturizer. While this stuff is a bit expensive, a little goes a long way. One of these bottles lasts me months and months. This sunscreen also uses zinc oxide, which is a physical barrier from the sun, so you know your getting broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection.

At first this tiny bottle of sunscreen seems super expensive, but it's actually quite worth it. I bought my first bottle in Dec. '11 and just reordered in Sept. '12. I use a nickel to quarter size amount every day on my face and neck, and rub the rest into the backs of my hands. It's very thin and a bit runny, but it blends in smoothly. I have very oily skin and this hasn't caused any breakouts. My foundation goes on well over it. I'd highly recommend it.

I just returned from a beach community in Panama, Central America. After using this product down there with great success; I won't use anything else. I am 68 going on 48, so I do everything that I can to protect my skin. This product is the best that I have found.

I purchased this sunscreen last year and it will last me through the rest of this summer as well. A little goes a long way because of the smooth liquid consistency. The scent is not overwhelming and does not irritate my skin.

I bought this from a free-standing Shiseido store, and I LOVED IT! It lasted me a year and a half ONLY used on my face. But since the sun is a bit more intense, I'm going to use it on my arms and legs too. Seeing as this is my 2nd re-purchase...it shows I LOVEEEEE IT

I love this stuff and use it everyday! So worth the money. It smells great and absorbs quickly. I have dry skin and I find in the summertime, I don't even have to use my normal daytime moisturizer. I've noticed that the regular brown spots I get when I'm exposed to sunlight aren't showing up. It feels luxurious, but definitely has an affordable price tag. Ladies, do yourself a favor and try this sunscreen, especially if you have fair/sensitive skin! You won't regret it!

this is a great product.. easy to blend for the first few seconds but afterwards, can become harder to blend into your skin. you will have to work fast. overall, a very good protective sun screen.
