This moisterizer is amazing. I have sensitive, dry, irish skin and this product makes my skin smooth, addresses dry areas, brightens and looks dewy all at the same time.

Quick Take: lightweight
This is really great stuff, makes your skin look great, especially in the sun, it glistens. However its a little too lightweight for the winter months and far too pricey for what it does. Its a good product, just not $62 good.

Feels light and smells great

I've been using this with the Clarins lightening serum this summer for some sun discoloration -- together the two have been not perfect at clearing it up, but at least more effective than any of the other products I've used this summer. I also do think that even beyond the discoloration it's made my skin look and feel better overall. I'm torn on whether I will buy this product again because of the cost and because I'll be less concerned about sun exposure with the onset of fall/winter, but so far of all the daily moisturizers I've used it's my favorite.

I was very weary that this would brighten my skin, I bought this because I was just looking for a oil free daily lotion with SPF15 or more. In the first few days I noticed my face wasn't reflecting my stress levels anymore (awesome), it was becoming rather radiant and the dullness was gone. It caught me off guard because I wasn’t expecting this to really brighten my skin but I cannot deny these fantastic results. My skin is just radiant now and it's boosted my confidence as a result.
I have to use 3 pumps for my face & neck, this melts into my skin immediately and the finish is matte. It has a nice perfumey scent and it doesn’t make my combo skin oily by mid day. My skin is also pretty sensitive and this hasn’t broken me out either.

Good, but packaging is misleading

I've been using this lotion for over a year now and it doesn't break my skin out (I have oily skin) and I think it's best for summer use. I find that it doesn't moisturize enough in the winter when it's 40 degrees out. I don't think it's worth $60 because the packaging makes you think you are getting a lot more product than you really are (see photos). I only use it in the morning before putting on my makeup, so it lasts a long time for me, but may not for people who want to use year-round and more than once a day.

This product did nothing to brighten my skin tone although it is a wonderful lightweight moisturizer with spf. If you are looking for a product to even out your skin tone, look elsewhere.

Awful SPF smell

I am a loyal user of Clarins, I have basically everything I own from face to body lotions, firming cream, Face SPF etc from the brand and I am very happy with it. Recently I purchased the Bright Plus HP Brightening Hydrating Day Lotion SPF 20 Oil-Free from Clarins and I was very disappointed. The smell is very strong, and it feels like cheap sunscreen lotion (and I honestly couldn't care less for that smell). The funny thing is that I own the SPF 40 for the face from Clarins and it does Not have that same smell. It was quite an expensive as well, so I decided to return. For those who don't care about the coppertone smell it may work. Not for me.

I have been using this product for at least a month now. It took a little while to see results, but it is definitely working. My skin is more even, brighter, and has a lovely "dewy" appearance. I don't know if it will be quite moisturizing enough in winter, but for now it is working great!

Perfect day moisturizer

I've tried dozens of moisturizers over the years - serums, lotions, creams, etc from drugstore brands to high-end department stores. I have normal-to-dry skin and live in sunny Southern California and I needed a daytime moisturizer with SPF.
This day lotion absorbs quickly, hydrates my skin and smells really nice. I normally don't like any lotions that are scented, but this is a really subtle, natural scent.
Since incorporating this lotion into my morning routine I now skip makeup base and apply liquid foundation right on top. I also use it on my neck and decolletage.
Love this lotion!

I rarely write reviews for products, but this moisturizer works so great for me in just a few days! i notice results in just a week along with the brightening serum and the night cream of this series.It doesn't break me out, and it definitely helped to control my breakouts and lightened my acne scars. With the serum and the night cream, my face looks luminous and brightened in the morning, even on those days that I had less than 5 hours of sleep. Wonderful scent, very smooth texture, very moisturizing as well. I am so glad that I decided to try this line, I don't have anything negative to say about it.

The smell is nice and the feel is great. It smooths on nicely and absorbs fast - not greasy at all, and not too heavy or too sheer. It may be too heavy for summer, but it's nice for winter. I'm not sure I see an actual difference with my skin, but I'm pleased with the weight and feel enough that I intend to use the entire bottle!

Nice and lightweight for summer, keeps my skin looking good while providing sun protection. I don't know how much this helps with brightening though. I wouldn't rely on this for brightening but rather the HP Bright Plus serum.

If it weren't for this moisturizer, I think my face would be really bad. I have combination/oily skin and I break out moderately especially during my period. I get red and brown spots after but Clarins battles this heavily. Even when I break out like crazy, the spots diminish substantially due to Clarins. I will probably buy the night treatment.
