favorite new file

I decided to splurge on this top-rated nail file because I was sick of having $5 files tear apart on me. I'm very happy I made this purchase! This file works great, so far it has stayed with exactly the same grit, and I like the coarseness (and I'm very picky about coarseness). As other reviews had noticed, there is a very fine border around the edge of the file, but I do not feel that it gets in my way.

Great nail file
-05.05.13
This is actually my second one. I like to have one at work and one at home. My first one is still going strong after over a year.
The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is a bit on the expensive side.

Prefect

It's just rough enough to get a good file, but not so rough that it rates up your nails. It's slightly bendy which helps you round out your edges.

Quick Take: lightweight but sturdy
files the nails well and won't wear out like emery boards, gives nails a smooth finish at the tips.

Quick Take: the best
This is the second file I bought as I lost my first one. It works great on my weak brittle nails.

I was skeptical at first to spend more than a couple dollars on a nail file but I love it and take it with me everywhere. It's really gentle on natural nails and even when I feel a break about to happen it doesn't hurt the rest of my nail. Best nail file ever.

I was wrong!
-01.20.13
Quick Take: expensive and worth it., will buy again!
In March, 2011, I reviewed this and said I wouldn't spend that much money on a file again. A little over a year later, I lost my file. I realized how much I missed it. Yes, I bought another one.

Nice File
-12.26.12
I have previously used crystal files and loved them however, I had a problem with them breaking often. This file does manuver around even short nails with ease. Will definitely purchase again!

Love this file!
-12.16.12
Quick Take: wonderful
I love this nail file. I was hesitant to purchase it because of the price but I'm glad I did. It is easier on the nails than the regular metal files. It doesn't tear my fragile nails. It is definitely worth the price.

Diamonds?
-12.15.12
Quick Take: durable, shiny, beautiful
I like the shiny texture, and durability of this file...it did feel a bit thin compared to my other nail files, but i love how it filed my nails. I have gel nails, and this did not crack it :)
I hope to have this file awhile

Quality
-11.28.12
Quick Take: efficient, good quality
I have very weak nails that peel this file does not tare my nails or cause them to peel which is amazing! It shapes nails in only a couple of swipes the only problem is that it has this little plastic border that makes it hard to shape the sides of the nail. Get rid of the border and this would have five stars!

the best so far
-10.04.12
It's more expensive than regular files but it works really well. I have fragile nails but I could file them back-and-forth, instead of one direction only with regular files. I'm not sure how long this file will last as I just bought it. I will give it 5 stars if it can last for a year or more!

The Best Diamond Ever
-09.22.12
Quick Take: perfection
This beats the crystal glass files. In one swipe, my nails are smooth and ready for the lacquer regime.
I have the Diamancel foot files and they are top of the line.

Diamond Nail File
-09.18.12
Quick Take: magical
This nail file is amazing. I didn't know there were nail files out there that you could wash and keep in good condition. My boyfriend quite enjoys the manicures too.

The nail file works very well, and it files the nail perfectly the way you want it too. The only problem is that I don't know long the file will last.

Tried so hard to love this nail file.
-08.01.12
I didnt see anything special about my nails during or after the nail filing process. I bought this after reading the great reviews. but returned it for the crystal nail file from the sephora brand. I really enjoy that one better than diamoncel.

Overpriced metal file
-07.19.12
Quick Take: disappointing, overpriced
I really wanted to like this, but I didn't like the feel of it or the sound as I filed my nails. This is strange because it's too fine for what I would classify as medium grit, but not fine enough to make my nails smooth. I am going to stick with a glass file.

I have shellac nails, and it is the only file I have found that does not split or separate the shellac color from my natural nail.

Unimpressed.
-03.09.12
Quick Take: too wide, poorly designed, hard to use
It's going back. Basically a metal nail file. From what I can tell, the only diamond appears in the name. Works about like a metal nail file, too. No clean lines, and I'm not really a nail amateur; I know how to file my own nils. Too wide to be effective, too. Absolutely NOT worth the price. Would not repurchase.
