Quick Take: dries hair out!!!
I really wanted to like this product.... I believe in buying/supporting sustainable and cruelty free products whenever possible. I have used many argan oil products prior to this one and have to say that the Morroccan Oil brand makes a much superior product. Over long term use the Morroccan oil brand moisturizes hair, prevents breakage and creates beautiful shine. The Josie Maran argan oil smells amazing but contains silcone which eventually dries hair out. I used a full bottle of this product before writing a review to ensure that my initial review was correct. Will not purchase again....

Not what I hope for

Left my hair a frizzy mess! Maybe I just need something heavier, because I can easily use 10-12 pumps of this stuff, and my curly hair just won't be tamed. It's probably made for flat, straight hair.

At first, when you pump it into your hand, you think this product is just going to be sticky....nope....one squirt for my shoulder length coarse red hair is all it takes....cuts down drying time and don't need any other styling product. Lots of shine and body....smooth hair. Perfect for travel as it does it all. Very happy with this product.

Quick Take: easy to use
I have coarse hair, oily scalp and dry ends. Found this argan oil hair serum did not help smooth/defrizz my hair or provide extra shine. Had tried the pure argan oil which helped improve shine, but not anti-frizz and thought that the silicone in this product would help smooth my hair, but was disappointed. I'll be going back to Moroccan Oil which did more for antifrizz and shine for me.

Ay yay yay... I messed up on purchasing this item. I meant to buy the ARGAN OIL, not the SERUM and ended up breaking out like crazy. Every where my hair touched, little red bumps.

I put this in my hair when it's damp and it dries super soft. If I didn't use it my hair would feel dry, rough, and tangled. I have tried other hair oils/ serums and the Argan oil works the best.

Quick Take: lightweight
A little goes a long way. If you use to much then itll make you hair look gross. My hair is 22" extensions and this is a great way to keep it looking heathy. I got a Josie Maran sample set with everything in it and i just loved this so I had to buy a bigger bottle.

It is the perfect solution to my extremely fine hair`s problems, which included frizzy flyaways! I have an extremely long hair that comes down to the middle of my butt (I know! Even I was surprised.), so I tend to have some split ends too. I do not have split ends on days I apply the serum, as if they were never there! That is how awesome it is! Plus, it isn`t greasy at all. :)

This is my second bottle of Josie's hair serum. I love the smell and it does wonders to tame my flyaways and help with frizz. I have fine blonde highlighted hair that becomes frizzy quite easily. I wouldn't say this is a cure all but it has definitely helped with the overall health and shine of my hair. I use it on wet hair before blow drying and on dry to finish.Smells really nice as well!

I'm addicted. Argan oil is all the rage, yes...but this stuff has a scent like wafting roses from the yard down the street. I have crazy wild hair and I live in a humid and hot climate and this stuff tames, conditions and kills the frizz. It doesn't take much so a bottle lasts longer than you'd think...so don't see the size, the price, and think NO WAY because it will take you awhile...

I thought this was pure Argan oil. Nope. It has Dimethicone & Cyclomethicone just like Frizz Ease, basically. It's good, but no better than Morroccan or Macadamia "oil." I don't think it smells as good, though.

I started to dye my naturally very blonde, thin, oily hair red. The dye tends to strip the natural oils and this stuff keeps my hair from breaking of being badly damaged. I love it. I even used it when I went back to my natural color and it helped keep my hair super healthy.

Maybe I just have bad hair because it seems like nothing transforms it as many fancy oils claim to do. Moroccan oil did nothing for me. This Argan oil does nothing for my hair either. I should just stick to Frizz Eaze, much cheaper and just as good. I should mention I have naturally curly dry hair. Thinking about trying the ALTERNA bamboo line. I'm so tired of wasting money on these miracle oils that don't do anything for my hair.
