Great for softening skin

Quick Take: cooling, soothing, scented, softening
The Art of Shaving's line is among the best in shaving products, and this one is no exception. The After-Shave Balm really softens skin, and I love using it after shaving. It doesn't really heal or anything so if you get cuts (you shouldn't with Art of Shaving products) I would recommend getting a aftershave healer in addition.

Quick Take: cooling, soothing, scented, awesome
My dad is always stealing my mom's moisturizer, so I decided to get him this for father's day. He absolutely LOVES it. It smells so good. Every time he goes to shave, he practically jumps up and down. It's super light, too. It's really airy and smells so good. It smells sooooo good. I can't begin to express how good it smells.

Quick Take: cooling, soothing, scented
The term "four o'clock shadow" could have been coined for my husband. He has a really thick hair growth, and by the afternoon, he often needs to shave again. Kissing him often means that my skin is going to end up feeling scratchy and look reddened. Luckily, we discovered the Art of Shaving Unscented Pre-Shave Oil last year through a Sephora sample kit. The Pre-Shave prepares a man's skin for a really close shave, and the Shaving Cream provides the lubrication for the actual close shave, allowing him to get right down to the skin level of the hairs. The After-Shave is excellent, too and softens his skin and closes the pores, reducing the potential for his having a four o'clock shadow. Recently, he was given the Lemon scent as a gift. I love the scent - he smells like a lemon meringue pie, although the scent dissipates fairly quickly. When he uses the Shaving Cream, he no longer gets nicks from his razor. When used with The Art of Shaving Shaving Cream, and The Art of Shaving After-Shave Balm, the results are even better. We're both extremely satisfied with the end results of these products. For men with heavy facial hair, or men, in general, who want a really really close shave, these products are for you. The Lemon is wonderful. (Next, he's going to try the Lavender).
