I was given this as a birthday gift, and I was hesitant to try it, as I tend to shy away from intense colours on my eyes.
And, boy, is it INTENSE.
The colour is every bit as rich and gorgeous on your skin as it is in the container. However, I found it really difficult to blend, and had to work on it.

I essentially love all Tokidoki cosmetic products because it's really unique and cute--especially the packaging! The packaging for this eyeshadow is really cute and pretty compact. The colors are very bright, especially this cobalt blue! It applies on smoothly and the pigment is great. It takes a bit of layering to get the color to be as vibrant, but it does blend well!

It's ok, probably the least favorite eye shadow of all my eye shadows. Really have to lay it on to get the color to show and doesnt last long even with primer. Cute - gave it to my 5 year old she loves it.

Quick Take: fun, brightly pigmented
This eyeshadow is fun with a lot of glitter. It has very bright pigment and lasts all day long, but beware, it does tend to smear and spread without proper basecoat. I like the case that it comes in, but it is a little bigger than what I prefer.

I got the blue shadow, which I believe is called Skeletrina.
It's pretty pigmented and the color is nice... it's definitely a primary blue, which is hard to find. However, I find it kind of chalky :/
I've tried it with and without primer, wet and dry and it doesn't seem to make much difference.
Overall I'd say it's a nice color, but the texture and coverage leave something to be desired.

Bastardino - lovely & unique

Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, unique
I have an unhealthy obsession with eye shadow, yet I try as hard as I can to never keep things that I have dupes of. Bastardino is a beautiful green that is easy to use, and has a fantastic shimmer finish. If you're hesitating about whether or not this is a quality product, or whether it might be something you already have - it has a GREAT formula and likely isn't something you own anything even remotely like. Go for it!

I got this in Bulletto. The shadow is very pigmented and blends easily. The color applies smoothly and is not uneven or patchy. There is shimmer, but I didn't experience any fallout issues. The only thing is that the color is a lot darker than I expected, but still beautiful! Instead of being an everyday bronze color, it's more like a night/dramatic eyes color.

Once you figure out how to apply it, the cobalt blue color is gorgeous!! It was exactly the shade I was looking for. The sale price just makes it even better ;-)

I ordered the blue shade (Skeletrina) because I heard it was a dupe for Nars' Outremer. The color is spot on. It tends to fade and smudge a little bit, and the color needs a few layers before it is intense enough to be true to the pan color, but all those things have been said about Outremer as well. So, while it's not perfect I am very happy with the purchase.

I dig this shadow color quite a bit. My favorite part is the little flecks of glitter all through it. Looks nice on a green eye. Color is bright and lasts all day with a touch of primer.

Skeletrina (blue) is far more densely pigmented than Bastardino (green sparkles). I adore the Skeletrina but am rather "meh" about Bastardino. It's kind of washed out.

Use a primer with these eyeshadows, as without one they will drift and smear. With a primer, the shadows stay put beautifully. The color is rich and dense, vibrant and easy to smudge for use as eyeliner-- so the "smeary" comment is a good thing here. I will definitely be purchasing more shades from this collection. The packaging is excessively bulky, but with such beautiful color I don't mind the shadows taking up extra space in my makeup box. Skeletrina (cerulean blue) made my green eyes pop when used as eyeliner.

Tokidoki "Bulleto" Eyeshadow

Quick Take: high quality not just cute packaging.
I saw this in the clearance bin at Sephora and thought I would take a chance on this. I am so happy with the fade-proof quality of this shadow. The color tends to be a bit more "grey/black" than I anticipated. I was hoping it would be a bit more brown or plum.. The packaging, although cute, tends to be a bit awkward. I am sorry to see that Sephora is discontinuing this brand in the Cherry Hill Mall in NJ. By the way, I'm Japanese and the word "Tokidoki" translates closely to "Once in a while".

The skull case is very cool and the color pops amazingly...don't have to apply layer after layer to get that intense color it shows up that shade within the first if not definitely second layer which is good for anyone who loves those bold intense colors that you can spot from across the room; this brand also blends real nice with other shades if you like to have color variations
