There seems to be some confusion as to what a diffuser does. When you dry your hair with the blow dryer, it straightens your hair and if you try to create volume with the dryer without a brush it creates frizz. You put this on the end of your dryer and hold it an inch or two so it dries but allows you to keep your curls or maintain volume. Instead of having to point your hair dryer in a downward angle, you can even hold it upside down and use your other hand to scrunch your hair. I love to use curl defining serums or mousses in my hair along with the diffuser. As for rollers, a bonnet is better but I have always been more a fan of hot curlers.

Yes, I know, no where in the description does it say this diffuser is universal, but I was hoping. As I could not find this in the reviews before buying it, I thought it might be helpful for others to know.

Quick Take: a great tool from straight to curly in minutes!
This does take some practice and patience to get it right, hang in there and you will be on your way to gorgeous tousled locks with almost no fuss. I prefer my CHI dryer and diffuser but this one is also very good.

Quick Take: hurts my headprobably using it wrong
I'm probably using it wrong because ti hurts my head. The Sultra dryer is a little heavy so that might have something to so with it.
