Poor quality and snags hair

Quick Take: poor quality, doesn't live up to expectations, bad design, snags hair
I have owned my previous t3 straightener for about 4 years when it suddenly stopped working. Since I loved my previous t3 straightener so much and they no longer carry that model, I went out and purchased this one...big mistake. First of all the quality has significantly declined, my previous model was well made, sturdy,and did the job. This t3 single pass is made of cheap plastic, looks and feels very poor quality and snags my hair, yes it snags my hair!!! I feel so let down that a company originally had a wonderful product, and then released this pile of junk. I know mine is not defective because I've read other reviews about it snagging hair and the plates not lining up correctly. Don't waste your money, it's not worth the price tag for such a cheaply manufactured product that doesn't live up to its promises. It definitely doesn't straighten hair with a single pass either, I have to keep going over my hair to make it straight. I'll be returning this.

It does what it's supposed to do. I can make my hair super straight or make the ends curled up. It's FAST, heats up quickly and evenly. I have fine, blond hair. I don't see any damage after using it for few weeks. Love it!

I've had many straighteners and this one is by far the best it heats up quick and all one temp and it straightens my hair so nicely and I am mixed with black and white but I have shoulder length hair that is mostly corse. This t3 works amazing.

Quick Take: amazing
I purchased this T3 to replace my burnt out T3 (same model). It lasted several years, and I used and abused that straightener. Smooths hair like a dream.
I have curly hair that just doesn't blow dry straight. The T3 takes care of my waves and friz like a champ!

Best straightener I've ever had.

I have had this for about 4 months now and my hair has only improved. It takes about three passes but it is faster than anything else I've used. My hair is so smooth and manageable. I never thought my hair could be like this, as it is naturally curly and frizzy. It heats up fast too. I can't say anything bad about it and hopefully it stays that way.
I would definitely recommend it!

Good design, fast styling

I bought this iron based several factors. 1-I own a hairdryer from T3 and have had great customer service from them. My hairdryer had issues after a couple years and they replaced it. 2- has a real nice aesthetic, slim, and lightweight. 3-it was half price at another retailer. I have course, wavy hair and this iron transforms my hair to straight and smooth. Curls well too. I own a GHD 2" which is amazing but wanted a 1" iron for the managability. I have fun styling with the T3. I'd say the quality is what you pay for. I do agree with other reviewers that there are prolly some defective ones out there.

I have had my straightener for 2 weeks now, and so far I love it! The only complaint I have is where the knob is located, it takes some getting used to when you change heat settings. Other than that, it makes my hair as straight as I need, and doesn't pull. It is by far one of my favorite straighteners! I have used Babybliss, CHI, and the GHD(I hate the GHD!!!), and so far, I love this one the best!

I have very long thick curly hair and have never found a straightener that gets the job done in just 20 minutes. It makes your hair soft and does not damage it. I have to be careful with what products I use because I color my hair so often but this is by far the best iron I have ever used.

silky straight hair

Quick Take: easy to use, single pass, temp controlled
I don't really do much to my hair. I burnt it badly when I was younger so for years I have rarely even used a hair dryer. It is now long and healthy despite being a bit sun damaged.
I decided that I should start doing my hair every once in a while. I got a Chi and it straightened it but left it very frizzy.
So I returned it and ordered the T3.
I love it.
I chose it because I wanted to have temperature control.
I use it on a low temperature with the Bamboo smooth thermal protectant spray.
Even on a low temperature my hair is straightened with a single pass. It leaves it looking and feeling smooth and silky.
My hair is naturally fairly straight but coarse. It will not hold a curl at all.
This just makes me feel so much more put together and pretty.

Quick Take: disappointed
This was the best B-day gift ever..or so I thought.. It stopped working w/in one month. I returned it & got a new one. 2 months of fabulous straight shiny hair it stopped working for me yet again. It was a huge disappointment & totally stressed me out. (Was getting ready for my staff Christmas party..horrible timing) no biggie, returned it & got another one..awesome for exactly one year...still works but has no resistance (broke off by the cord but not in 2) I imagine if I keep using this product like this I will end up w/carpal tunnel. I loved my t3 & gave it so many chances, unfortunately it let me down more than an ex boyfriend & I will be moving on w/something better.

This is the best iron I've tried. I've had more expensive ones in the past but this works much better, one pass is literally all it takes to straighten your hair and I have wavy hair. It also doesn't leave your hair feeling dried out and brittle. I would def recommend this.

Quick Take: amazing.
I am a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Illinois. This is the best flat iron I have ever used. Not only will it curl, straighten and flip both my (crazy, curly, frizzy) Hair as well as my clients. The shine is simply unbeatable. My hair stays straight or curled all day, even in high humidity during the summer. I was a avid CHI user for many years but I have switched to the T3 single pass and could not be happier. Well worth the money.

At first I really liked this flat iron but.... After about 2 months on one side the edge became very rough. When I would pass through my hair it would actually drag roughly. It may have been this particular unit but, I did not want to take a chance on another one. I returned it and went with GHD.

Quick Take: amazing, worth the money, a steal
I Had a t3 for a few years, it broke when I used it in rome, I called t3 and they told me to send it in and they will send me a new one..
during the two weeks it took to ship out, I bought a temp. called ballezia, from the mall kiosk, the difference i saw in my hair was dramatic and disgusting.. my hair was dry and broken,
once i got my new upgrade straightener from t3 i was extactic !! this is an amazing product all t3 does not damage your hair.

I have highly textured 4a 4b shoulder length hair. I am amazed at this iron. I have never used a high end flat iron before. I am now asking my self why the heck havent I been using one???!!!! One single pass using the chase method with a comb and my hair has high shine and is pin straight. I have never seen my hair this straight even when I had a relaxer. I am very satisfied this styler is worth every penny. Im almost afraid my hair is too straight! I received so many compliments today!!!!

Quick Take: great
My Chi died on my 30th birthday. I was in freak out mode. I ran to my local Sephora and the rep recommended the T3 brand. I didn't know much about the line other than it was pricey. I wanted a straightener I could change the settings on and had good reviews. Despite the feeling of an impulse buy, I am SO happy with this product. It works great!
