I'm new to wearing red lipstick and I purchased this because my top lip is darker than my bottom so lipsticks or lipglosses always look mismatched in color.....I will not wear red without...I didnt have to reapply in Florida heat all day!

Retractable, little sharpener included, little brush included which I use to blend it, creamy enough for easy application, long lasting, a bizillion colors and a great price! My go to forever! Not going to waste money on any other lip liner brands. We who need the barrier between lipstick and lips salute you!

one of my regular purchases - use it daily. I do have a few minor criticisms like depending on the stick you buy the texture may be creamy or dry - can go either way, if its dry it will fade away in patches and not evenly. Other than that i absolutely love it

Wasn't crazy about the color. I ordered Petal and it was more on the brown/nude side then pink. The quality is very good though, and it lasted all day/night. It didn't make my lips dry and the brush on the end is a great addition. Overall a good lip pencil, but need more color options.

i will not purchase this again. while i don't like lip pencils that scratch your lip because they are so hard, a pencil that falls apart at the last pressure isn't much good either. great color selection, but that doesn't help much either.

This is a good lipliner and serves its purpose. I usually buy high end department store brands but I wanted a liner for my purse and was in the price range. Sephora doesn't have a lot of shades but I bought a good neutral shade. It keeps lipgloss and lipstick in place without it feathering. I'm giving it three stars because it came off my hand too easy when testing it and I wish Sephora had more colors available. Price is average, color perfect.

I've been using Sephora's Lip products for years - it's the only one that I do use anymore. I have tried many, many different brands and none have stood up to Sephora's! I love the regular liner and was thrilled when they came out with this waterproof one. Who doesn't want a waterproof liner?! I know if I'm going to wear a liner I'd really like it stay past an hour or two.
I got this in Mauve and I usually go with the nudes and light pink browns. This is a gorgeous pinky mauve - not dark at all. It goes on creamy which is great - nobody likes the litte bits that stick to your lip line. For those that have experienced breakage - try not to turn the liner up too much when applying. Initially mine broke as well but I learned you only have to turn it up just a little bit to apply. Mine haven't broken since and it's been years. You can turn it up to sharpen if you want a thiner line, but put it back so it won't break. You can always turn it up once it gets low. Super easy to apply. You can make regular lines or sharpen it with the sharpener at the other end for a thin line, you can leave the line and use a lipstick or gloss, or you can blend the line with the brush for a more natural look. Many different ways to apply!
I apply Sephora's Lip Stain then this liner and then use Sephora's Cream Stain. After that I apply a small amount of gloss and I don't have to do anything to my lips for at least 8 hours. The color stays as if I just applied it! Best of all my lips look natural - you can't tell I used a liner at all, only a lipstick/gloss. It may sound like a lot to do for lips but if you really want your color to last - I would give it a try. My husband always tell me my lips look like I just did my makeup when we finish dinner - and that was HOURS ago! I can eat, drink hot or cold drinks, anything and this stuff never fades. The way I apply it - it never feathers - ever! The only time it does fade is if I eat something super oily - like fast food Chicken,, which I don't do often. Oil in the food does break down any lip product.
I will continue to purchase this because I LOVE it and you never know when Sephora will discontinue it. I have it in several colors - I'm hooked! I have a cosmetic bag with nothing but lip liners from probably 15 different companies- mostly brand new. I only wish I had found this sooner!!!

Smooth, easy to use, lasting. The first one I purchased the mechanism didn't work but my local Sephora store replaced without question. I will say the formula is pressure sensitive. Draw lightly or it will crumble off. Use a light hand.

THE LIP BRUSH END SHEDS AND I HATE THAT PART. IF I WERE TO REPURCHASE THE PRODUCT I WOULD JUST BUY THE LIP PENCIL. THE PENCIL ISNT BAD BUT I NEEDED THE BRUSH AND USED IT AND HAD THE BRUSH HAIRS STUCK TO MY LIPS. MAJOR ANNOYANCE.
