DIFFICULT TO FIND RIGHT COLOR

Quick Take: got wrong color...didn't wear long enough to tell
Ok, so lets start with the color options. I have tried to find the right color and have had no luck!!!! I'm a light skin tone with a tan undertone. I tried the "Fresh Ivory", it has a peachy tint to it and on me looks really bad. I need lighter so I'm going to try the "Fresh Alabaster".....tired of sending it back.

I've tried various Clinique liquid makeup products, and this one by far is a finely tuned solution that covers almost anything! When paired with the pressed powders, my skin (even on my worst days) appears clean and covered.
The solution is a bit thicker than other liquid makeup products, and initially, I was hesitant to use it because I thought it would clog my skin. Surprisingly, when used over a light moisturizer and SPF, this solution stays in place and is easy to remove with a simple soap/water solution. Definitely a best-coverage rating from me!
Note: The bottle design is somewhat poor, and I waste a lot of product because when stored in my makeup bag during travel, if sideways for too long, the makeup leaks into the cap and needs to be rinsed...

This foundation is truly a solution to acne. This great coverage makeup helps conceal any marks or new acne. The medication in the foundation happens to pair quite well with my derm prescribed topical acne creams. It last a good 8 hrs and comes and many different hues easy to match yours.

I was recommended this foundation by the lady at Sephora when my store was out of my shade in MUFE Mat Velvet+ as an alternative. I have acne prone skin that is really oily so I needed something that was full coverage and would keep my oil at bay and the lady said she loved this foundation and highly recommended it to me, so I figured I would give it a go. I was disappointed with this foundation because it was way to drying on my skin. After an hour of wearing this my skin would become flakey, splochy and it would oxidize. It was really unflattering but I thought the problem might be due to the way I was applying the foundation. I continued to try and work with the foundation for about 2 more weeks using different brushes, my hands, different powders to set it, setting sprays and nothing worked. I also saw no improvement in my acne while using this product either. I'm sad this didn't work out for me..

I would love to give this 5 stars but its just not possible. I have very oily skin and this product does last but not as long as I would like it to and it does not help prevent anything on my skin.

I'm writing this review to help all of you who are on the fence about trying this product, GO GET IT NOW! It has made me so much more confident in my appearence! It is moderate to full coverage, so it covers old scars but it has a very natural finish, looks beautiful. controls oil all day and stays on all day! i havent had one pimple since i started using this product, amazing!!!!

Well, what can I say. For years I've resisted all foundations since no matter what I've tried they all get into your fine lines no matter how hard you try. This one is the first one I've tried that actually doesn't and looks decent! I've used a trial size before and went as far as purchasing the whole thing. Recommend!

I was color matched at a store and I'm so thankful, this product blends into my skin so well. A seamless fade into my natural skin color and the buildable coverage is flawless, it looks as if I'm not even wearing makeup. For a photo finish look I apply this foundation with Sephora's classic foundation brush #47 and pat it into my skin rather than swipe the brush across my skin, I apply a little blush and then finish with Cover FX matte setting powder. I highly recommend that if you're interested in this product to go into a Sephora store and get matched by someone at their beauty studio. Go in while they're not busy, they'll be more willing to give you a full look rather than swatches along your jawline.

This is a great match for my skin and has good coverage. This is my second time purchasing this foundation. Before this I used Smashbox, Bare Minerals, and Too Faced BB cream, but like this one the best!

I love this foundation! I was a bare minerals loyalist for years and I couldn't understand why my acne was getting worse! I went from breaking out mainly on my chin to getting whiteheads all over my cheeks. It wasn't cute. My dermatologist recommended Clinique since it's water-based and I was an instant convert.
The makeup it so lightweight - it doesn't give the typical "pancake" feel that a lot of other liquid foundations do. My skin cleared up almost immediately. I still get breakouts now and then but at least I can be sure that my makeup isn't part of the problem.

Be Careful what shade you choose! I recommend you go in and get matched! also keep in mind that once the foundation sets, it slightly gets a bit darker!!! I'm light, so i got the third one (fresh neutral) right away i noticed it was a twi bit darker that my Mufe shade (117) but as the day went on... it got darker and darker! I ended up giving it to my mom shes Mufe 125, and it worked perfectly for her!!!
Besides that problem! it felt very nice, and refreshing on my skin!! i need to try it in fresh ivory!

I have slightly oily skin, though not acne prone, due to the oiliness this was recommended to me. I've always trusted and enjoyed Clinique products and this is no exception. Just the right amount of light coverage that wears great through the day.

I have dry/combination skin so this product tends to dry my skin out and make it feel kind of tight. If you have oily skin I think this would be a match made in heaven. During certain periods of the month (pun intended) when my skin is rather oily, this works perfect.

Amazing except for the shade selection

This foundation is definitely my new holy grail! Unlike so many others, it stays matte on my very oily skin throughout the day. Better yet, not only does it not break me out, but it has actually improved my albeit minimal acne. It looks really natural on the skin and has a medium coverage (or full, depending on how you apply it).
The only downside is the color range. This foundation definitely oxidizes, so be sure to buy one shade lighter than what matches your skin at first glance. My skin tone has never been described as "alabaster," but after oxidizing, Fresh Alabaster is the perfect match for my light skin (NW20). Unfortunately this means that people with really fair skin (lighter than NW20) won't find an appropriate shade match.
Other than the poor shade selection on the light end of the scale, this foundation is the absolute best one out there for people with oily, acne-prone skin.

I have tried so many different foundations and they all break me out; even special acne blends. I finally tried a little more expensive with this one and love it. I don't break out and one bottle lasts me several months.
