After falling in love with the Buxom brush, I went looking for an identical one that wouldn't smudge. This wasn't it. Even being waterproof, it was smudged within an hour.

Raccoons my eyes

Quick Take: volumizing
First of all,I have oily Asian monolids. This smudged within ten minutes if application and one time I kept it on all day and looked in the mirror at night to see my eyes were embarrassingly raccooned. I started using waterproof mascara so I could escape mascara smudging and this was worse than non waterproof mascara. Looked good after immediate application though...

Quick Take: volume define lengthen
I have scant eyelashes and have been through hundreds of mascara claiming they lengthen, volumize etc, this mascara gives me length volume and to top it all of is water proof.

Don't waste your money

Quick Take: not smudge-proof
This is NOT smudge proof. Swudged with dark raccoon eyes by 1pm - I don't have super oily skin and I don't rub my eyes. I am returning this. Not worth trying.

Quick Take: defining
I love the application of this mascara. But unfortunately, it ends up under my eyes soon after application. I cant believe it's titled waterproof and it's not even sweat proof. Again, the application is awesome....but it does not stay put.

This is a great mascara for everyday wear. The brush does a great job of separating the lashes. NO CLUMPING! It is not great for big bold lashes. I use this during the week and a different mascara on the weekends.

Quick Take: lengthening, defining, smudges
I bought the waterproof version thinking it would stick around better than the volumizing version from bareMinerals, which I generally like. Unfortunately I looked like a raccoon by the end of the day. It doesn't clump though, and I thought it did a fairly nice job defining my eyelashes. The raccoon-smudging is a deal breaker though.

I have tried many different mascaras over the last forty years and this is the best one ever. It does everything a mascara should do with no clumping, flaking or other negative effects other mascaras have. LOVE IT!!!

I didn't like this mascara at all. It came out of the tube in goopy clumps, which then transferred to my lashes. Whenever I tried to smooth out the clumps, the brush just transferred more onto the clumps, making things worse and worse. It does stick around - no flaking or smudging, but it required an oil-based remover, which made using it even more difficult. I returned it.

Quick Take: good but can be better
I love the color & it is truly waterproof. The only thing I would change is the brush. I wish it had longer bristles. The short ones make it a little clumpy & I have to brush more to spread it more evenly.

The best!

This is by far the best mascara I have ever used. I have tried them all, and I always go back to this one. The brush is unique and not only separates lashes, but gets those little tiny lashes that other brushes can't. It never looks clumpy, makes my short lashes long, and never flakes. This waterproof mascara holds up, yet washes off easily with facial cleanser. Try it, you will love it!
