I have fair to medium skin and these towelettes perfectly give me an overall glow without the orange hue. Color lasts approximately 4-5 days and dries quickly.

Great as always! These always make my skin glow without looking orange. I'm actually fair, but the med-dark seem to make the tan last longer. I usually use the fair in winter and med-dark in the summer. The color lasts for awhile as well. LOVE THEM!

My friend always had beautiful colored skin, so I had to ask one day how did she have such a perfect tan? She told me "Tan Towels"! She let me have one of her packs and I've been hooked since. It doesn't leave a weird smell, nor does the color wear off on your under garments or sheets/towels.
The only thing I am upset with is Sephora! I could NOT figure out why when I ordered I could get the 10 for the same price as I could get 5 packs. I tried looking at the pic to see what the difference was.....well, the 10 pack is for 1/2 of a body! Who has 1/2 of a body?

I have been using tan towels for years. I used to purchase them at my local Ace Beauty Supply store but they stopped carrying them. The price there was about $10.00 when I first started using them and gradually increased to about $15.00 before they stopped being carried there. So, $15.00 was higher than what I was used to and I thought that was a little pricey then when I had to start buying them online (because they aren't sold in my area anymore), I realized that they generally go for about $25.00. Now they seem really pricey. It's frustrating to be paying so much now (with shipping too) but I just have to have them. They're the best of it's kind (much better than L'oreal's) and I just can't live without them.

I have tried dozens of at-home self tanners over the years, and this is by far the best. The towels are more than ample for one application, go on without ANY streaking, and look natural and even. Plus, they even smell lovely!

Nice but having trouble with wear areas

These are convenient, easy to use, & the smell is light. I'm super fair but got the plus towels instead of the classic. After 1 application I had no color. I did 2 more (4 hours apart) & then another application the next am. That gave me a nice tan/medium compexion. I do hate that I haven't found any sweat proof self tanners. The problem I'm having is that the color quickly wears away behind my knees, in front of my elbows, & between thighs. It is those areas where my skin touches itself often (fetal position sleeping, sitting with knees bent, bending arms, etc) & I guess that's why they almost turn white. I've tried using the towel just in those areas a few times in a row. They darken a bit but don't blend in with the rest of me. The maker of Tan Towel makes a spray "instant" tan. You spray it onto a used towel & rub it on. Not only did that not darken the areas but it made them bigger! It was as if the spray was removing the previous tan. I've been searching the web trying to find others with similar experiences to hopefully get help with this issue to no avail. Even with this problem making me look like I have a skin disease I'd still recommend trying them. I never had a tan like this before. Plus you can use them on your face as well.

This product is great to touch up the spray tan you already have. I am not a big person and I would need 2 towels if I want to cover my whole body evenly. The towels dry up quick. The coverage is flawless!

Quick Take: long lasting, even and quick drying~
The best self tanner that I have ever used. It dries so fast and gives a golden tan...no orange tint. I always get compliments on my tan and being a very Irish, very fair skinned person, that's the sign of a great product. I've used it for years and will definitely continue to do so!

Good for travelling and an emergency

Quick Take: gradual, the tan lasts about 4 days if you moisturize
My normal selft tanner, I have to apply 1-2 hours before I go to bed, have to walk around naked, and sleep in brown sheets as I am sticky and some color rubs off. These are great as they dry quickly after applying, do not rub off or stain your sheets - great for travel. You can do something shortly after as you can throw on a dress and not worry about it getting stained or sticking to you. I applied a second sheet after 4 hours and had a nice tan - not dark as what I get with my normal self tan lotion, but nice enough that I can wear bare legs with a dress. I stocked up on these mainly to use for when I am travelling.

My mom bought these for me as one of my Christmas gifts as I am always finding the way to achieve the perfect tan. I recently stopping tanning in the beds, but I still love to have a year round golden-glow and I am constatly searching for things that work. I was more than surprised to find out these wipes actually WORK. Easy swipe on, you can use gloves for application, but it's not needed. To ensure all is dry before I dress, I dry my body with a blow dryer. I feel the most effective method is to used the wipes before bed and when you wake up, you're pleasantly surprised with a sunkissed glow! The more times you apply over one area, the darker you will get. They also work great as a "hold me over" between spray tans. MUST TRY for the girls who love to be tan, you will LOVE it!

Pleasantly Surprised

I had ran out of my usual tanning product, and my mother had sent these to me for the holidays to try out. After using it, as per the instructions, and I was pleasantly surprised...
The self-tan towelette was moist enough for full body coverage, and didn't feel like I was short changed on the product. After waiting for the first four hours, I noticed that I had a very nice glow throughout the body, with very little streaking, and didn't look orange at all. What made this product even more amazing is that I didn't experience smelling the strong self-tanner smell you get after using certain products. After the prescribed hour hour wait, I went ahead and added the second application, and ended up with an ever nicer tan.
This product is great for those who are on the go and can't afford the time to use a tanning salon, or for those who want to try self-tanning for the first time. I will definitely be purchasing this product again in the very near future.

These things are amazing. They don't smear, streak or smell bad. And they really do work. I find I have to give myself 3 applications of the medium/dark skin to get the bronze I want for my legs (i.e., 3 towels worth, shared over both legs) but one is more than enough for my face and arms. My "tan" lasted about 4 days. This is perfect. I hate the messiness of the lotions and sprays and I always manage to mess them up so this is like a miracle for me.

I completely love ALL TanTowel products. I have bought their self tanning products over and over again because they work so great! They are very easy to use and give me great color. I have light skin and I use the regular towels and the Plus towels. (At first I thought the plus towels would be too dark for me, but they work great!) If you are looking for a good self tanner I highly recommend this brand.
