I was looking for something that would cover up my blemishes without looking like I dont wear too much make up. I'm a diva glam girl but I don't like wearing products that give u a cakey look. When I go out with my girlfriends and I see girls in the bathroom and I take a look at their make up and sometimes notice their foundation and it just looks cakey! I didn't want that ! So this product is wonderful!! It's just moisturizer with a hint of color! I would definitely recommend this ! But I rate it a 4 because since it is a moisturizer type of coverage , it kind of makes my skin a little shiny so I don't recommend for people who have oily skin but other than that's it's Fabulous !!!!

Nice coverage and goes on and blends easily, but the finish is too shiny on my skin. Perhaps it's better for someone with dry skin. I was hoping for something with a more satiny, matte finish. Also a higher SPF would be nice so I wouldn't have to wear another sunscreen under it.

Oh my goodness I have tried so many bb creams and tinted moisturizers, even light coverage foundations because I wanted vvvvvery light coverage and I didn't want a matte finish as I have dry skin and at times matte finish products look flakey on certain areas. Ahhh I was getting so frustrated especially since around here spring is taking a little longer to get here so my skin has been pretty dry. Oh my gosh!! Ok enough about me and my skin....on to the good stuff:

Great in photographs (flash and non flash)
Blends super extra well - doesn't dry super fast but doesn't take forever to dry either. Just perfect!

I have a lot to say about this formula because I have been using it for four years now. It gives you sheer coverage, sunblock, glowing skin, moisturizer, evens out skin tone. This is a good product for girls who can almost go without any makeup at all, and it is convenient because it is several products in one (foundation, moisturizer, sunblock), all at the low price of $42. I typically use a pearl sized drop a day, and the bottle lasts me one year. It is light on your skin, but build able, so for days that you want more coverage, you can score that.
At the same time, it does not last all day. After 6 hours or so, you may want to reapply it. It is not oil-free, so it will give you some blackheads if you are not exfoliating and cleansing properly (use Bliss' Pore Perfecting Polish with this!). If you have combination-oily skin, this can give you some shine on your face by midday, but this could be avoided if you use it with a mattifying loose powder.
While it is not perfect, it is a great product for an even better price.

Too Dark For Fair Skin!

I bought the lightest color and it was still too dark for my fair skin. People who are NC25, NC20, and NC15 - watch out this will most likely look too dark on you. I'm an NC20 and I just couldn't pull it off - too bad too because it was a gorgeous application and finish. Get with the times Dior! Not everyone is a medium skin tone.

The hydra BB is great if you have dry skin, which I have. It leaves a dewy finish, so if you don't like that then I wouldn't recommend this. Also I get rosy from time to time and this doesn't cover it well so I do use some concealer before applying it. Overall I would purchase this again for my day to day regimen.

I have been using Hydra Life for almost 4 years now and I don't think I will ever change tinted moisturizers! I use a dime sized portion everyday during the day and if I want a little more coverage I use a nickel size portion for nights I will be going out. All I do is rub this into my face like I would a regular moisturizer... so easy! This product can be layered for more coverage which I like because I find foundations too heavy for my skin. I also genetically have dark under eye circles and do not always use this product with concealer under my eyes, I'll just dab a little more underneath my eyes and I look fine! I have both colours at home, and will blend the light and medium in the winter when I'm paler and just use the medium on its own in the summer. I normally wear this topped off with Dior loose powder.

I just got a sample of this and I cannot wait to purchase the full size. The first day I wore it, someone in my workplace actually stopped me to tell me how much my skin was 'glowing'.
The product goes on very light and thin, but in my opinion has great coverage. My skin right off the bat doesn't have deep acne or large imperfections. But in areas of redness or the odd pimple that needs to be NOT red, this product did enough work for me.
Unlike my old tinted moisturized (VitaZing by Origins), it didn't stay oily after I applied it. I didn't NEED to put a powder on top to remove shine - a huge plus in my books. I've only worn it with a pressed powder brushed lightly overtop, but this combo has lasted me all day long so I think it's had great staying power. You end up using so little that these types of products last months so I don't really think that $40 is high at all.

It was an alright product. I naturally have oily skin and this made my face into shine city by the end of the day. My skin is also tan so the color selection was very limited. 2 was too dark and 1 was too light. Overall this product didn't really do much for me. I still had to apply the same amount of concealer as I usually do in the morning and I would rather had less in my routine. It does have a pleasant smell but it dissipates after a couple of minutes. This is my first experience with a tinted moisturizer so I wasn't really fond of the consistency of the product, quite watery in my experience. One tilted of the product in the wrong direction and you can potentially spill a lot of your product. Also I mainly applied with my fingers working it into my skin and I didn't really like how my fingers felt sticky after using it. So the next day I used a synthetic buffing brush which eased the application but not as flawless as using your hands. Overall a mehh product. Do not plan to repurchase unless they make a more wider range in shade selection and have a formula for oily skin.

My skin can get very dry and flaky during the winter months so after reading about how hydrating it was, I was sold. It is definitely moisturizing. I usually layer a regular moisturizer underneath a TM (I guess more out of habit than anything) but there's really no need with this one. And a little goes a long way. Putting on too much at once can make you look cakey. It's sheer coverage and I have hyper-pigmentation so I use concealer on top to cover my blemishes.
I like that it brightens my skin. My boyfriend said it makes my skin glow and prefers this over the Laura Mercier.
Shade 1 is definitely darker than you think it will be. I am a medium skin tone and shade 1 fits me. I think it's similar to the Laura Mercier TM shade in Sand.

I use this as a moisturizer under my Laura Mercier Mineral Powder and it's great not to mention long lasting. I get such dry skin in the winter and NYC gets colder every year! This has been a part of my new skincare ritual and I couldn't be happier with it! I've tried everything and this seems to be the best one for my break-out prone dry/oily skin.

it's a weird color

since my skin tone is medium, i chose the #2 tint thinking it should be fine according to the description given. However, it was way too dark for my skin. it looked like i just did an awful job at putting too much bronzer on my face. I thought maybe i can use it during summer when i'm more tan but, no it did not work. I have combination skin and after 3hrs, i have to blot my t-zone since it gives way too much shine. also, this product smears off easily.
