I got this to wax the fuzz on my face. Next time I'll pay a professional. Messy, wasteful, expensive, and it didn't pull out all of the hair. Way disappointed.

Good for facial waxing

This wax is good to use in small areas like lip and eyebrow, it attaches well to the small fine hairs and is easy to rip in small areas. You have to follow the directions exactly, the consistency when applying is important as is applying the wax against the grain so you have a thicker area of wax to grab and rip. It is very messy and time consuming for large areas due to cracking or thinner areas of wax not coming off easily, waxing with strips is much more effective for body.

I can't believe it actually works!. Gave it 4 stars because if you don't microwave it enough and/or apply the right consistency and/or leave it on for too long it cracks. I just play around with it. Follow the instructions in the box. I use one kit multiple times. You just microwave it again. It will get messy though. Worth a try

Quick Take: affordable luxury, easy to use, convenient
I never leave reviews, but for someone who has been waxing at a salon for almost a year, I decided to try this at home to help off-set some of the waxing costs from the salon because it's getting pricey. I first purchased the other set by bliss which comes with the full size ingrown eliminating pads, and I was completely satisfied with my purchase. I decided to then purchase this kit because I still have half of my pads left. It is very, very easy to use and I actually found it less painful than the salon waxes. The hair also took even more time growing back and thinner than at the salon, which I was so impressed by. Due to the fact it's in the convenience of your own home, you can do it at your leisure, instead of making an appt. This product is amazing!

Causes Ingrown hairs! Messy!

First, I want to say that I really wanted to love this kit.... Smells great & is professional grade. The downside is that it's messy . Do not use over anything $$ you don't want ruined. The bathroom floor was a gooey mess after all the trips back and fourth from my microwave. The heating of the wax made it too hot, and it cooled quickly so you have to work fast!
Also, approx. 1 week after treatment I was starting to notice a big problem with new hair starting to come in "ingrown" in the areas I removed hair. ( I waited until I had about 10 days growth prior to waxing so I wouldn't have this happen). Lots of hairs trapped under the skin that needed to be fixed manually with tweezers. If I didn't end up with the amount of ingrown hairs all over I would give 4 stars, but unfortunately Bliss Poetic waxing is only worthy of three stars.

This is the third time I have purchased this system. Although, it can be messy, it is effective and much less expensive than a salon wax.

The wax would break or crack into small pieces making it very difficult to "rip" off. It would not peel off in a strip. I even tried not allowing it to set as long. That didn't work either. I also didn't have enough to finish both legs. It was very difficult to remove the excuse and ended up with marks all over my legs from trying to remove it. I did like the oil provided with the wax. Ended up returning product for refund.

don't be afraid to use on the stove

Great product. I've been using this for years on my bikini line and it's relatively unpainful as far as waxing goes. My only complaint is the new packaging. It is "microwave only" but I can't get the wax to melt in the microwave -- the instructions say 30-second intervals, but the wax is not even close to melted after the recommended 5-6 intervals. So I still heat on the stove in a pot of boiling water, which works fine. After using up an entire jar with many re-heatings on the stove, the cup never appeared melted. Also, it is ridiculous that you have to buy the whole kit every time...I still have nearly full bottles of cleanser and oil from previous sets. But it's a good product overall, good strategy on their part, and still much cheaper than going to the spa.

This product is the best I have found for at home waxing- it gets all the small hairs on your face without any problems. It does sometimes miss the thicker, more coarse hairs so its by no means perfect but it is definitely the best out there and I have tried everything! It's so easy to use and not too hard to clean up.

This product is amazing. This is my second time buying and I will confine to buy this! The formula is easy to use and easy on pain. I love using my own waxing kits at home when I don't want to spend a ton at the salon. I've used this on my face, bikini, and legs..and the jar actually last a while.

Quick Take: easy to use, effective, smells good
This is amazing. It smells very nice and if you use it as directed, you will have no regrets. I have stubborn facial hair and it removed most of it (It was my first time using it) but with practice it will definitely do the entire job. Highly recommend, it's like having your own little wax system sans the mess and strips.

I decided to try this as I'm unable to find a good cosmetologist for a brazilian wax. I think with practice it will be easier. Nearly painless compared to my previous professional experiences. Do apply it as it says, banana peel thickness - you will regret it if you don't! I will continue to use this product!

Before using this, I'd only tried waxing once before- it was with a drug store brand and it just didn't take the hair off. This, however, worked extremely well and was super easy to use. I did my underarms and had no irritation afterwards. I'd definitely recommend this even if you have no experience waxing.

i use to go to bliss and spend $80 per one brazillian wax session and this stuff works the same.
The product itself is 5 stars but 4 stars because of the hassle you have to go through. But this is much better than spending $80 for one wax. This is my second kit i bought.

great buy!!

in an effort to save money, i decided to start doing my own brazilians (i know i'm crazy). i've tried other wax kits before but with no success. after hearing great reviews, i bought this Bliss kit. it is, after all, the same wax they use in their own spas!
the process was fairly simple and with a bit of courage, i was able to perform my own brazilian! i would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to save some $$ !

i used to see my waxing lady once or twice a month. but now thanks to this, i don't think i'll ever see her again! lol, jk. but it is a really good investment. the only negative i have is that it can get messy, but that's more my fault than the product. i mainly use this for my underarms, and the hair that grows is so thin and unnoticeable. i used to be self conscious about my underarms because i used to shave and they got dark, but after waxing at the spa, and now waxing at home, i'm ready for summer and sleeveless shirts! :)
