Quick Take: crease resistant
Only good things to say about this product! One swipe per lid is all you need for all day, crease-proof shadow wear. Really light-weight, blends quickly and invisibly onto the lid, unlike Urban Decay Primer Potion. Have repurchased and will continue doing so. Pricy but worth it!

I was disappointed with how little product is in this wand. I have to say I didn't give it a chance to see if my shadows had staying power before I returned it.

Quick Take: creamy, crease resistant
This eyeshadow primer is the bee'a knees. I only use it as to stop my eyeliner from transferring to my eyelids which happens with no matter what type of eyeliner I buy. Now I can buy my cheap drugstore brand eyeliner without worrying about it moving while keeping it cheap!

I have used every other shadow base around and this is by far the best. I only use matte eyeshadows and my shadow looks just applied after 12 hours of wear. It is amazing!

My favorite. It is high quality. Very easy application. Keeps your eyeshadow fresh all day.
The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the glass is because of glass container. I accidentally dropped it and had to replace it.

This eyeshadow base is amazing! My shadow looks the exact same when I put it on over the base, which I was slightly worried about.... the big deal is that it STAYS looking the exact same ALLL day! My eyelids tend to be hot and eyeshadow doesn't stay very well, so I left my makeup on longer than normal to give it a good test, and it stayed looking perfect and like I had just put it on for 14hrs! I definitely recommend this product!

I debated on buying this for a very long time before purchasing it. I already had a tube of Urban Decay Sin and Original primers, but I was fed up with those. They're nice, but not as great as a lot of people claim. I also had the old packaging, and many people say the new tubes burst open. I much prefer this design with a wand, and a clear formula. This goes on and sets almost immediately to a fine silky texture. NARS shadows are long lasting alone, but with this they last all day. The big test was using $5 shadow with it, and it gave the best results of any primer. Well worth the money, and only $4 more than UDPP.

I had previously been a loyal Urban Decay Primer Potion user for several years, but recently thier primer just stopped really working for me. I searched blog reviews and this primer seemed to be the standout so I got it. I can say that as long as this primer works for me, I'll never use anything else! It keeps my shadow in place and looking fresh even up to 12 hours after application! Plus I absolutely love to use it under my under-eye concealer because it really helps that stay put as well. If you have any reservations about this product, go ahead and get it.

I have very sensitive skin around my eyes and tried several different bases such as Lancôme, Lorac, Bobbi Brown, Urban Decay, and Clarins. This is incomparable. Any eyeshadow works great with it and it stays on all day with no creases or fading. Amazing product!

Best Eye Shadow Primer!

I have tried several eye shadow primers including, Bare minerals, Smashbox, Benefit, Urban Decay, Too Faced and Mac Cosmetics. This Nars one beats them all. I do have oily hooded eyes and this really works to keep my shadow looking fresh and non-oily all day!!! Love it! I will definitely repurchase. Also, I love the applicator and the ease of use!

This stuff rocks! Prevents creasing and my eyeshadow looks fabulous. Tried the Urban Decay primer first and wasn't happy (it dried out) NARS is a great product although I'm not 100% satisfied with the packaging. I never use the applicator wand... it's strange... reminds me of lip gloss. Anyway, I'm just being a hater... Buy this primer.

I was a hard core UD Primer Potion girl and I thought I would always be but I finally relented and tried the Eyeshadow base that I got as a VIB'er last year. It's phenominal and works better that UD's and I don't say that lightly. My eyeshadow didn't migrate and my eyes stayed flawless all day. I've been using it for the last few days and all I can say is WOW! Now I'm glad that I couldn't find my Primer Potion. Nars truly is the best out there!

I've been using Urban Decay's Primer for yearrrrrrs and I end up at Sephora recently to get myself another refill. The nice girl who helped me directed me to this smudge proof base by Nars. Love the consistency. Love the clear color. I prefer a tube, but this packaging is clean and I love clean. Most of all I love that product WORKS AMERZING for a base to my eye shadow and more so, to my eyeliner. Right on Nars.. right on.
