Great Protection
-04.26.13
Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural
I love this product. Having tried numerous products with high SPF, I am going to stick with this one (although I would use Skinceuticals again, too, as I like it almost as well). This has no odor. It starts off casting a white greasy glow but as it absorbs, the white goes away entirely and your skin is left beautifully protected and moisturized. I use Skinceuticals serums underneath and a bit of powder on top and I'm good to go. I am so glad that I have taken sun protection seriously, as I love being mistaken for a 30-something year old at the age of 47.

Love it!

Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural
This sunscreen is a bit pricey, but worth the money. It doesn't even feel like I am wearing sunscreen - perfect under makeup, not greasy, and no chemical smell! I love the fact that it is 100% natural.

A few years ago I might have been happy with this product, but it's now possible to find natural, physical sunscreen products that wear just as well as anything else. This was too thick and left too much of a white sheen to wear daily. I might use it if I was going to be under direct sun or at the beach but for general use I prefer the Josie Maran product.

greasy
-04.01.13
Quick Take: natural
I couldn't wear this product on its own i had to apply a powder because it was extremely greasy and it was hard to apply a liquid foundation or concealer on top because it didn't blend well with the sunscreen. Its good for sensitive skin and didn't break me out

best one I've found
-03.27.13
If you are looking for a natural sunscreen for your face, this is it. I hate to tell some of you but 100% natural sunscreens always leave a bit of a white cast. That is because it forms a barrier on your face to protect it. I don't mind, I think it looks dewy and it's better than the alternative chemical sunscreens. Put your makeup over it and it looks great. My only complaint is I wish it was a little thinner, but still my go-to.

Search is over!
-02.24.13
Quick Take: natural
I have been searching for a mineral sunscreen for my face, and this is it! I love my mineral foundation (Korres is my favorite), but at the beach or ball field it does not provide enough protection. This is creamy and lovely!

Effective Ingredients
-02.20.13
Yes, this will leave your face white chalky like; however, that is because the two active ingredients sit on your face to protect it - zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. I read these are the best protection. So, I will do what another reviewer does, put makeup over it. On days I don't want to wear makeup, I suppose I can use a different brand sun screen.

Best All Natural Sun Screen
-12.21.12
Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural
I love that there is no strong odor with this sunscreen, is completely natural, and it can be worn under makeup. You do have to wait for the sunscreen to absorb, but once the tacky feeling goes away (a couple of minutes) you can apply your makeup as normal.
I bought this tube 6 months ago and it has finally begun to run out.

The only one ...
-12.08.12
Quick Take: natural, kind
...I'm not allergic to. All the others break me out in tiny little water blisters!! It may not be perfect, yes it does go on with a white tinge at first but it fades and if you wear foundation or anything on top it works just fine. If you wait 60 seconds for it to set, that gives the best results when layering on top. Here is my routine: General moisturizer with a Vitamin C powder mixed in followed by this sunscreen. Then my primer and either foundation or concealer or both, depending on the kinda day I am having. I follow with a light mineral powder to set. Sometimes I don't need all of those things but regardless of what goes on my face this sunscreen poses no challenges to my morning routine. The SPF is something my aging face needs desparately, so it deserves every star it gets.

Want to Love it, but...
-11.26.12
Quick Take: non-greasy
I heard great things about this product and was so excited to try it. However, it leaves that annoying white film after application. The product description claims it goes on sheer but it does not. After a period of time it eventually absorbs but not quick enough and still with a white tint. I do like the texture but needs to be tinted or reformulated to correct this problem.

great product
-11.04.12
Although it claims to be all natural, it does have a slight chemical scent to it. It also turn a little greasy after a while. The great thing about it though is that my skin is very sensitive, and it won't make it red or cause it to breakout. Therefore, I'm sticking to because I haven't found another one that hasn't made me break out.

Layers Well Under Make Up
-08.28.12
Quick Take: blends in easily, natural, layerable
My mother has instilled in me the need to always wear sunscreen. I love that this has zinc in it and is all natural. I found that it easily layers underneath primer and foundation as long as you give it a couple of minutes to set, otherwise the other layers tend to not blend or sit on the skin as well.

Perfect for sensitive skin
-08.17.12
Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural, non irritating
This sunscreen is great. I'm allergic to all facial sunscreens that have ingredients that start with "O" - this one is perfect. Does not cause redness, irritation and is non-greasy. Wore all day at the beach and didn't burn. Highly recommend.

Good for sensitive skin
-08.08.12
Quick Take: creamy very spreadable, hypoallergenic, shiny, unscented
Tried a sample, no burning when it is close to my eyes, thin consistency so easy to rub on my face evenly. My skin iand eyes are sensitive and although I really like and have used the Neutrogena dry touch facial sunscreens for years and liked them, I think I like this one better. It has no scent which I like also. Two reasons for only giving it 4 stars...it has to be shaken every time you use it because it separates, and, it has a very shiny look so I don't Ike to go without brushing some powder over it to matte down the shine. Really like this product. Oh, one more thing, too expensive !!!

A must in my summer bag...
-07.26.12
Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural
Lavanila Sunscreen goes on thick and substantial. At first I was afraid it was going to leave a waxy, white coating across my face but it smoothed in well. I applied make-up afterward, as usual, and was happy my face did not get shiny shortly after (typical with a lot of facial sunscreens I've used) I am bad at reapplication but Lavanila seemed long lasting.

Greasy
-07.23.12
I received a sample of this in my recent Sephora order. I don't know if the full-size would be like this, but the cream had separated and came out blotchy and unappealing. As I rubbed it in I noticed how greasy it felt and how it didn't seem to sink into my skin but left a film over it. I'm pretty fair-skinned and this sunscreen also left a noticeable white cast to my face. I won't be buying the full-size.

Excellent Facial Sunscreen!
-06.29.12
Quick Take: blends in easily, natural, eco-friendly, non-scented, great for everyday
This sunscreen blends so smoothly into my skin. It makes your face feel very soft. It may feel wet on your face at first, but it takes a minute to sink in. I like to use this over my moisturizer. Great for everyday! I love that it is paraben free and all natural!
