Quick Take: gradual
It does leave a nice color, but it is very strongly scented when sprayed. You almost have to spray on and run out of the room to another or use a fan. It's quick drying and so far doesn't stain my closthes that I've noticed. I use the buffing mitts to smoot into my skin. Last 2 days at most.

Try the lotion instead

Quick Take: long lasting
I love St Tropez lotion so I tried the spray and it was a big mess. Overspray all over my white bathroom. It wipes off very easily but the time I saved using the spray vs. lotion was wasted because I had to clean up. Try the lotion for d=sure!

Quick Take: long lasting, natural looking tan
This product is just amazing good, it dries fast, the color is natural, not too smelly and you get instant tan and even better after a few hours. Just use gloves, cause since it fast dry and quick color u may need that to avoid on your hands.

True golden bronze color goes on evenly and dries quickly. Ive never had it rub off on my clothing, and it lasts a few days. Im most pleased with the color and the scent.

AMAZN!!! Gives you a gorgeous glowing natural tan. Super smooth and easy to use. Even sprays upside down! Quick dries. doesn't rub on clothes and doesn't have that "I just went tanning" smell. Trust, I have tried everything on the market and this is affordable but looks priceless. It's TANMAZN!

I love this stuff. Super, super easy to apply. Smells & looks amaaaaazing! I get a lot of compliments. I am very pale so I have a hard time finding tanning solutions that don't look orange. This doesn't look orange! Love it. I hope they never stop making it!

I'm surprised at the negative reviews I've read about this product. Those of you who are saying it 'Streaks' probably are not applying it right. Not to close to the face and make sure you gently rub it in evenly. Great color, good product.

I really wanted to love this, but it missed the mark for me. I have a friend who swears by this brand and I was excited to try it. Couldn't decide between this or the mousse... next time I will definitely get the mousse. I've only used it 3 times and the can feels almost empty. Plus, I didn't feel like it gave me much color at all.

I have used just about every spray self-tanner that is out there and also spray tan all the time. I was really not impressed with this product. My face didn't look tan at all after I sprayed it. If you are looking for a spray self-tanner that makes you look tan this is not the best option.

I have been using the St.Tropez lotion and mouse for about three years. This is my first can of the spray. I LOVE it for upper body and face. The smell is better than the mouse & lotion (not as strong) it smells wonderful. It comes out in a light never clogging mist. The tan does not last as long as the lotion. However the ease of use makes up for that. I will keep using this on upper body (waste up) and for the lower body keep using the lotion.

St. Tropez Tanning Essentials, Self Tan Bronzing Spray, is my absolute favorite skin enhancing product. It is a "dream come true bronzing spray" that delivers a natural-looking long lasting glow. Since, I have been using this product for several months now, I can honestly say that it is the best spray bronzer I have ever purchased.
I consider myself an expert when it comes to testing self-tanning products and I have tried over 25 different bronzer products. Truthfully, I have never had a good experience prior to using St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Spray.

Quick Take: gradual, non orange
Doesn't look orange, smells great, no streaks, pretty much goof proof. I have skin so white it's almost blue, and I'm not a big self tanner user. Bought it on a whim, and now I would definitely buy again! I have a nice light golden tan on my face & body after two uses and it looks as real as if I were on vacation.

I purchased this self tanner for the very first time last month. There was a rep. from St. Tropez doing a demo on the foam tanner... I ended up purchasing the spray instead bc I was currently using a spray self tanner in another brand... But I thought, why not try it. I loved it! It doesn't smell funny, like a lot of other self tanners. It shows you where you're spraying with a guide color. It's not sticky at all. The color comes out even and isn't splotchy. The price is competitive. I will definitely purchase this product again!.

i loveee this product. i have bought it multiple times and have recommended it to MANY of my friends!!!! you get a great natural looking tan. the only problem is make sure who ever is spraying you is far enough back so you dont get any streaks, if the person is too close you will be able to see the lines.

I really love this tanning spray! It goes on evenly and the color is beautiful on my fair skin.....does not look orange AT ALL. The only issue I have is that it goes very quickly. I have been spray tanning for years so I know what I am doing...it seems that when I received it and used it the same day, it was already almost out. I wish it there was a bigger size!!!

I usually use the Mouse but this was a change and I liked it. It would be better if you had someone spray for you as to get it even. I had a mitt from the mouse so I evened it out (at least what I could reach with that). It dries quickly. When I went out of my building 2 days later with a dress on a neighbor noticed and said "Hey, you got a tan...it looks great" I told him what it was but should have kept that my secret!!!!
Did not stain my white expensive sheets which I was surprised about but glad because I did not even thing to change in case it did stain them.
