I got this for my sister. She has been pleased with it, but she hasn't raved about it. So I don't think it's any better than Desitin at doing what it's supposed to do. Probably no reason to spend the extra money vs. the drugstore options, unless you are really intent about having an all-natural product, in which case it works well.

Quick Take: not just for babies
I have a problem with cracking open. I tried every preparation, ointment, and cream . When I saw this on sale, I thought I'd give it a try and am very glad I did. It soothes and heals. I hope they never stop making it.

Nothing but the best for my baby's bum, and this is the best. It goes on smooth, isn't too thick, wipes off easily, and does the job better than anything else I've tried. I like knowing that it's natural and safe for her.

This is an awesome diaper cream that has no scent. It's the only one that clears up my little one when he gets a rash! Would recommend to any mom who has very sensitive skin like me!

Use for lips

I have super dry, always chapped lips. I bought this after reading online about people using diaper cream for their dried lips and skin. It does work good although I do still have some peeling skin throughout the day. A good fix but not the permanent solution I am looking for.

I'm on my second order of Lavanila "The Healthy Baby Bottom". I keep thinking that I will find some other brand from the various diaper creams that we were gifted at our baby shower that will be as good. But, none so far have done the job at keeping the diaper rash at bay like Lavanila. This time I'm ordering more than one!

I had been using Arbonne diaper cream on my daughter but ran out and picked this up from sephora. It works well and I like it doesn't have a scent. I don't think it's as thick as other diaper creams and seems a little oily or greasy which I think is a down side but I would definitely recommend this cream. It could be a great shower gift!!

This is the best diaper cream I have ever used on my daughter. I like that it's natural and it doesn't have an odor to it. Works very fast. Only downside is that it's a bit pricey, but worth it.

Great thick cream with lanolin

The backs of my hands are very dry due to sun exposure and need intensely moisturizing, lasting cream. Lanolin has been one of the only creams that actually works for me to intensely moisturize, seal in that moisture, and heal/prevent chap cracks. This cream is scentless, thick but spreadable, and works extremely well. It has a short list of soothing and moisturizing ingredients and has not caused any allergic reactions for me.
I use it in combination with Lavanila Baby Lotion, which has a slight fragrance (pleasant, slightly baby-powderish) and is a much lighter moisturizer without lanolin. I rub on the lotion first, and then put the Lavanila Baby Bottom cream on the backs of my hands for a very moisturizing combo that doesn't affect my ability to handle things or type. (If you put the lanolin-based Baby Bottom cream on the palmar surface of your hand, it's going to be slightly tacky and greasy.)

My baby is 7 months old and I have used and will ONLY use this on her bottom. She has never had a diaper rash, if her bottom gets the least bit red I put this cream on and the next time I change her her bottom is clear. I love this product! It creates a nice thick barrier, no smell, and works immediately. Highly recommend!

I am 24 years old, and since I was 16 I have had the annoying condition called Tinea Versicolor. It is a skin condition that is irritating and leaves fain scars after the dry skin marks fade. I have tried EVERYTHING, including pills and medicated body washes from Doctors and NOTHING worked! Until now, I received the lotion and body butter in my stocking from my boyfriend mother, because she knows how sensitive my skin is she thought it would be good. well since I have been using this butter and lotion I have NO MORE Tinea Versicolor spots! for the first time in YEARS I feel as tho I don't have to feel embarrassed to show my arms! All Tho it has only been a week, the results are far better then any advice I have researched, or been give/prescribed from any doctor! So in love with the lotion!!!

Apparently when I was a baby/kid, I would get horrible thrush from bubble baths(TMI, sorry)! Not until the last couple of years did I realize how horribly I react to scented body washes, lotions, etc...that come in contact with my...bottom shall we say. I won't go into details, but now I need fragrance free, hypo allergenic, super duper sensitive EVERYTHING.
So, I actually use this on myself!! And when I have a baby, I know this is what I'll be using for them as well.
I wish I could stress how important it is not to over-load your babies with scented products, because you could be doing damage to the skin of your little one without knowing it....especially to their 'bottoms' which is very sensitive, thin skin.

my 9mo old got a bug and had the runs for literally a month. her poor butt was practically raw. I used a few different diaper rash ointments but none of them worked like this one. after the first time using it on her there was a HUGE difference. her little booty was back to normal within 2 days of using it i promise. this is an amazing product and a little goes a long way. I wont use anything else on her after trying this and its a plus that its all natural.
