Quick Take: non-sticky, soothing, non-irritating
The only chemical free sunscreen I've tried that goes on smoothly and quickly fades to invisible on the screen. My 4 1/2 yr old has eczema, and this is the only sunscreen that doesn't make her break out. Wish it came in a larger size. Wish it came back!

A sunblock that wont irritate my eyes! Its not hydrating but magnificent still. A true life saver.It leaves kind of a white blueish tone if you don't work it enough or use a little too much but if you use make up it shouldn't be a prob.

Quick Take: non-sticky, soothing, scented, effective, unisex
I've tried many different sunscreens, trying to stick to organic when possible...or at least all natural. Baby Block is lighter and absorbs easier than the regular version of Lavanila's SPF 40 sunblock, and it doesn't make me break out. There will be a bit of sheen on your face after it absorbs. Great protection, with a muted vanilla-like scent. Only drawback is the size: they could probably double the ounces for the price you pay.

Took this on the beach with me. Love that it is fragrance free and very soft. It does wash off too easily though if you go in water.

I was look for a lotion for my body with a spf in it, and was told was what I should get. I liked the lack of scent and spf 40 is a good light block, but didn't moistureize like I wanted, so I had to return it.

MY DAUGHTER WAS 1 1/2 WHEN I FOUND LAVANILLA HEALTHY BABY BLOCK. BEFORE THAT I HAD TRIED EVERY SINGLE OVER THE COUNTER SUNSCREEN MADE. I PAID FOR EVEN THE TOP DOLLAR BRANDS, BUT MY FAIR SKINNED, BLONDE HEADED, BLUE EYED LITTLE GIRL HAD A REACTION TO EVERY SINGLE ONE. AFTER ABOUT ONE HOUR OF WEARING IT SHE WOULD START TO HAVE THESE HUGE RED WELPS ON WHATEVER PORTIONS OF HER BODY THE SUNSCREEN WAS ON. SHE WOULD STAY THAT WAY FOR HOURS AND HOURS. FINALLY AFTER SEARCHING FOR SOMETHING ALL NATURAL I FOUND THIS "THE HEALTHY BABY BLOCK" !!!! IT HAS BEEN A GODSEND :) SHE CAN WEAR IT W/ NO REACTION AND NO REDNESS AT ALL. I ORDERED IT AND KEEP IT IN HER DIAPER BAG AND ONE IN THE GLOVE BOX, JUST IN CASE. I LOVE THIS STUFF! I WOULD TELL ANYONE AND EVERYONE TO USE IT, AND ITS SAFE FOR SMALL BABIES. THANKS FOR SUCH A GREAT PRODUCT.

i thought this was great at first because of how natural it is, but unfortunately, it's way too weak to stand up to humidity and sweat. i have sensitive skin and it didn't irritate it, but i need a more lasting sunscreen with higher spf.

I'm extremely pale, and I also need a lot of sunscreen for all my tattoos. This sunblock has NO unpleasant smell at all. I didn't even remember I was wearing it. It smells slightly of vanilla and that's it! No chemical odor. It wasn't greasy at all, and is great for use on your face.

its really white and thick. i bought it to use as a daily moisturizer so it was too think to use under makeup. it could possibly work well as a sunblock for the beach

Quick Take: soothing
while this sunblock doesn't hold up amazingly against sweat and leaves a shine, the formula doesn't feel heavy at all and has no weird smell. after i put this one, if i just brush some powder, then the shine is under control. i have to wear sunscreen every day under my makeup, so it's great that it's so light! also, i love that it's a physical sunscreen and not a chemical one. you just have to make sure to blend it well enough to get rid of the whiteness. i gave it 4 stars just because now that it's getting humid, i have to make sure every layer of my moisturizer and sunscreen is completely dry before i put the next layer of my skincare routine on.

I have very sensitive skin and almost every single other sunblock has irritated my skin. I have tried all sorts of sublock, chemical free or not, never works. I have gotten a sample of this and have been using it for a 2 weeks now and no irritations. With SPF 40, I would recommend it to both adults and children

Not just for babies

I have fair, sensitive skin so I bought this baby block for myself and have been very happy with the results. It is not greasy, and I put it all over my face including my eyes and it does not sting or burn at all. I was just in Cozumel for a week and did not burn by applying it religiously. You do need to reapply after swimming. Great product. Goes a lot farther than you would think for a small tube. Will buy again.

Love the product. Goes on a little white, but this fades. I use it under makeup, allowing it to soak in for about 5 min., then blotting before makeup application. Happy about the fact the spf is 40! Great product.

i use sunscreen everyday despite the season and also that lotion made it fun for my kids. once they saw lavanilla on the label, the nice scent comes to their mind and everybody has a happy day
