Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural, easy to apply
Fantastic product. I have pretty thin hair and my part often burns, so brush a litle of this in and no problem at all. Also works great for my little ones who don't like sunscreen on thier faces. Have purchased it for the last 5-6 years and wil continue to buy as long as they make it.

OK sunblock powder
-01.23.13
Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural
I like the concept of this sunblock. What I don't like is that even with the top on, powder seems to leak out and all over my makeup bag!

So Good
-10.29.12
Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural
I love this product! I have a deep complexion that liquid sunscreen usually leaves a white film of zinc oxide on. I accepted that it was my cross to bear if I am going to use sunscreen. Well, this blends into my makeup and is completely sheer. It's not messy to me. I think it's very convenient and quick. It plainly states on the cylinder to "Pull Down, Do Not Unscrew".

great for travel
-10.24.12
Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural, convienent
This is a great way to carry sunblock on the go. I use it when I travel and I also keep it in my purse in the summer. I'll use it instead of power for touchups and I'll dust my face a little before I go out at midday - that sunblock you applied in the morning has worn off, you know!

Perfect SPF Powder
-10.20.12
Quick Take: non-greasy, natural, powdery
I love this! I find it very convenient to tote around to freshen-ups expecially spending many full days on the soccer field. It is light and powdery and feels fun to put on! If you get too much powder on the brush, you do need to watch out for a "powder cloud" though.

I want to love it
-10.12.12
I really want to love this, but I'm not actually sure if it works.
The idea is great, but the execution in this tube is questionable. The bristles are stiff and itchy. Feels a little like nylon scratching on your face. I'm not exactly sure how much, if any, powder actually gets on my skin....I see powder dust in the air when I apply it, but I can't really tell if it is making it on to my face. I love that its contained in the tube and that it has sunscreen, but if it doesn't cover evenly over my whole face, then what's the point?

Messy
-10.11.12
Quick Take: too much hassle, messy
The product itself may be great but I was too disgusted by the messy packaging. I had hoped to keep this in my purse for the occasional touch-up but there is NO WAY this messy thing is going in my LV!

I'm too pale!
-10.09.12
Quick Take: messy
The powder was really messy and too dark for my skin tone. I ended up returning it the next day. It was applied with the brush but I still had to use another brush to fix the mess it made on my face!

Sunscreen to Apply over make up
-09.30.12
Quick Take: effective
Sunscreen you can put on throughout the day without taking off your make-up. Small, easy package you can throw in your purse and always have it with you. It also acts as a powder to take away shine!

Fantastic
-09.28.12
Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural
I love love love this product. Due to roscea I am not able to tolerate the sun because it breaks my face out with pimple type bumps.
With this product, I am able to be in the sun. I have been to the beach, rode motorcycle and just day to day outdoor sun.
I should note I wear it over my makeup. It is matte without color, so you can not tell you have it on, I apply it several times during the day when outdoors and carry it in my purse.
I wear it continually. Certainly has changed my live.

Still searching for the perfect sunblock
-09.19.12
Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural, messy
People really aren't exaggerating when they say this is a messy product. The very first time I removed the lid a giant cloud of powder came out and got all over my clothes and everywhere else. Luckily it wipes off easily. It would also be nice if the package was transparent so you could see how much powder is left. But for $12 on sale I can't complain.
Despite the delivery system, I really like the actual product, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. The powder itself is tinted, but it's fairly sheer once applied. Once it's lightly blended, it sits nicely on the skin, it doesn't cake and it's enough coverage that it evens my skin tone and absorbs oil. I have a medium skin tone, and it blends in well, but it's possible it may appear bronze on very light skin or too light on dark skin tones. In other words, it's not completely transparent, as noted in the product description.

DO not unscrew the bottom:
-08.17.12
Love, love, love the product. I wrote an earlier review. There is one thing that you need to know about: There is text on the bottom of the product that tells you not to unscrew. You just pull to open. I keep mine in my makeup bag and somehow it got unscrewed and all, I mean all the powder comers out. I didn't realize it and dumped my makeup bag on my bed and there was loose powder everywhere. Actually, I love the product so much that iI just had to laugh as there was powder over all my other makeup products. YIKES. Ya know when you really love a product when you make a mess and still lover it. DO NOT UNSCREW THE BOTTOM>

Worth it!
-08.14.12
Quick Take: easy to use, multiple functions - love the spf
I am pleased with this brush applicator and have been using it for two weeks. It is easy, portable, and I particularly like that it has an SPF of 30. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, use gently as a lot of powder tends to come out at once.

Light
-08.11.12
I agree with other reviewers who say it's hard to tell if the product is being released or not. It's light & has not made me break out so that's good.

Good product - Bad brush applicator
-08.09.12
As an SPF fanatic, I was excited to find a product I could apply over my make-up throughout the day for instant sun protection.
The concept of this SPF 30 mineral powder is great, but the execution is bad.
Pros
- SPF 30 that you can apply anywhere, not just your face
- Transparent powder that feels light on the skin
- You can apply over make-up or bare or moisturized skin
- Works well on T-zone and gets rid of shine
- Nice and light in hot weather
- Does truly prevent sunburn and sun damage
Cons
- The brush is cheap, scratchy, and leaves bristles all over your face
- The amount of powder you can get on the brush by shaking it varies widely. You can get way too much powder, or no powder at all even when you shake it the same way
- The shaking to get the powder in the brush exacerbates the loose bristles that end up all over your face
- Has a strange almost peppery smell when you first put it on, but it does dissipate
- The scratchy brush actually makes my skin itchy, and I don't have sensitive skin
I hope PTR rethinks this package, or just gives us the powder without the cheaply made, scratchy brush. I'd like to see just the powder in a nice travel-size container that I can use with my own powder brush that is sooooo much nicer.
I will not purchase this product again, and I would not recommend it unless it is available in a different package. It's really unfortunate because the powder is really a good sun block that can be applied over make-up throughout the day. Bummer.

I will be returning this product. Way too much powder came out on my face no matter what angle I held it at, making me look like I caked a bunch of makeup on my face. The brush was very rough and the powder smelled like smoke. :( I was very disappointed after reading all good reviews on this product...

Good powder but applicator could be better.
-08.01.12
I really like this powder as a quick setting powder to apply lightly over my moisturizer or foundation, and to even out and set my eyeshadow. The only thing I'm not so fond of is how much powder comes out of the brush when applying. Its best not to shake too much or apply while holding the applicator completeley upside down, as you'll get alot of powder puffing out all over the place.
