Quick Take: easy to use, scented
After researching several dry shampoos I chose to go with this one. I found that applying it directly at the roots does leave a white residue (I have highlights and lowlights). Instead I apply a sparse amount just below the roots n tousle it in well. You can lightly squeeze the bottle and just a 'pouf' comes out, I like to do that by the root area also to avoid the white residue. The smell is pleasant and fresh. I compared the ingredients to baby powder and they are quite different but both do about the same. However, I really like the applicator bottle. It keeps it from being messy and I do not have to put it in my hands n get a big powdery mess. I am going to keep it just because of the bottle it is in and when it is gone I can use it for baby powder. I see no point in spending the extra money for quite the same result. But if you are looking for a dry shampoo I do recommend this one. It seems it will last a long time even with regular use bc you don't need to use much.

my hair is too dark!
-01.20.12
I have dark brown almost black hair and this stuff is very apparent on the roots. Someone even asked me if I have dandruff (how embarrassing)!! It absorbs all the oil and gives great lift and volume when vigorously tousled in, but it just doesn't blend in very well. I only use this when I am in an absolute emergency, probably once or twice a year at most.

A Great Dry Shampoo
-01.17.12
Quick Take: scented, finely milled
I've got thick curly hair that I blow dry straight and I highlight it too. So I try to go a day or two between shampoos but the top of my scalp by my part gets oily after a workout, in the summer, etc. So I've been using dry shampoos instead to fix the problem.
I've tried quite a few dry shampoos over the years and this is my favorite. I love the clean, shower fresh scent and this one is finely milled but thin so a little goes a long way.
I do have blond hair but I highlight it so I do notice the powder as my roots grow back in. My trick is that one I don't put the bottle straight to my head. I actually put a little bit in my hands and then rub it into my scalp. A little goes a long way. Then I actually pull my hair up in a clip and put on my makeup. I let the powder dry into my hair. Finally I do a quick touch-up with a round brush and blow dryer; what ends up happening is that most of the powder flys out of my hair but takes the oil with it.
If you don't normally need to blow dry your hair straight like me I would still recommend putting on the dry shampoo 30 min before you are planning to leave the house. And then put the blow dryer to your head and comb the excess out. You shouldn't see any white powder on dark hair after that.

And it absorbs just the right amount of oil. I have oily roots and dry ends, so dry shampoo is a must. It applies easily, and leaves my hair smelling great!

Luv the smell, feels great on my scalp. Only problem is, it leaves white spots everywhere I applied it. I have dark brown straight hair.

Great smell, refreshing, but will cause build-up and dandruff when used in excess. Very convenient applicator!

even being white powder on my black hair ...
-10.08.11
Quick Take: easy to use, scented, oil-absorbing
... it blends away, leaving my hair less oily, more textured, and smelling excellent. I have tried Oscar Blandi's dry shampoo (the powder) and it is much, MUCH harder to work with, clumps more, and doesn't rub away as cleanly as, well, the Clean product. Sad that my store doesn't carry it anymore, but I will be ordering more online!

Ok for desperate mornings
-08.04.11
Quick Take: scented
This is ok, but the powder is extremely tough to work with. You have to shake or squeeze the powder out, and if you do too much you are left with a huge lump of visible, white powder on your scalp that's difficult to disperse. I might try shaking it onto my fingers next time, then gently rubbing my scalp... but I haven't had a need for this in a few months. Next time I'm going with a spray.

Perfect
-07.27.11
Quick Take: easy to use, scented
This is what all dry shampoo should feel like. I was using T3 dry shampoo spray before using this product. The sprays go on like hairspray and leave your hair feeling like you sprayed on a bunch of aquanet and then combed it out. This powder by Clean is easy to apply, smells great and made my hair look freshly blown out.

Very Good Product
-07.14.11
Quick Take: easy to use, scented
First off, this makes your hair smell wonderful. Second, it works! I have very fine, short, naturally curly hair-and the curl isn't that strong. My hair looks better with product in it so I only shampoo every other day or so. I took just this product and Bumble & Bumble's Surf Spray on a cruise recently, leaving behind all the gels and other stuff I normally take. I found my new rouine because my hair never looked better. I especially like this product after I've worn a hat all day. Refreshes and revives without making my hair look clumpy and smelling like a drawer sachet.

amazing
-04.21.11
Quick Take: easy to use, scented
i've tried several different dry shampoos and this one is by far the best. it smells AMAZING! I get so many compliments on how good i smell. i have really fine, oily blonde hair that gets greasy by the end of the day, but i found that if i wash my hair at night (after the gym or working out) and then use this my hair doesn't get oily for 2 days! it is unbelievable. i HIGHLY recommend it. i never thought i could go more than a few hours without washing my hair...this stuff is awesome.

Easy to use, fresh smell
-04.19.11
Quick Take: easy to use, scented
I have used a few varieties of dry shampoo and I really like this one. I like the fresh smell (rather than the lemon pledge smell of Oscar Blandi), the easy to use nozzle and how easily it blends. I have straight brown (colored, but close to natural with no grays) hair. It also gives nice body and texture without looking like a hot mess.

Clean Dry Shampoo
-04.16.11
Quick Take: easy to use, scented
This is my favorite, and I have tried them all! Love the scent, and love that it does not build up on my scalp in clumps like some do. I sprinkle a little on my hair, use my hands to rub it in all over, including my scalp, then brush it out. My hair is very dark brown and this does remove some shine, of course since that's what it's made to do..I follow it up with some moroccan oil on the hair (not the scalp) and it's like I just washed my hair. Great for gals like me who like to straighten their hair but don't want to do it every day. Also a great product if you are in a smoky bar, it gets rid of the smell so you are fresh for the after-party!

works for me!
-01.20.11
Quick Take: easy to use, scented
I have tried many dry shampoos. This one has worked the best for my hair. I do have blonde hair, so the powder doesn't look funny. My hair tends to get pretty oily and I have not had much success with dry shampoo sprays. I recommend this one. Smells good, too.

Nice product, not great package
-01.04.11
Quick Take: scented, takes practice (like most powder dry shampoo)
I like the product, freshens up my hair. Smells laundered, not clean though :-)
The applicator/package isn't great though. Makes the product concentrate in one area. I ended up pouring it into an older Bumble&Bumble powder container I still use...much better!

Overrated
-12.11.10
Quick Take: scented
I picked up this product because I was looking for a dry shampoo and one of the sales ladies recommended it. I picked this one because I like the way it smells, but when I put it on I don't feel like it's really doing anything for my hair. When my hair gets greasy it gets really greasy and this product does not really take place of washing. Maybe I'm not using enough of it but I also don't want to put on so much that it leaves the white spots.

Love it!
-11.06.10
Quick Take: easy to use, scented
I have never tried a dry shampoo before, but upon reading mostly positive reviews, I gave it a shot. My hair is fine but I have lots of it, thus by the end of the day it is quite oily. Due to my color treated hair I dont like to wash/blowdry every day. This product seems to distribute quite evenly, no noticable powder at all (I have blond hair) and I really love the scent. Nice and clean, just like the title :)

not for dark hair
-10.03.10
Quick Take: scented
This isn't for people with dark hair. If you apply it like the instructions say-- up against the scalp-- then you'll have a ghost white spot on your head! Try to blend it in and you can still see the white powder.
Baby powder works the same if not better.
The smell is nice, though.
