Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
I have used Shiseido for at least 10 years if not longer and have always loved it. I like this too but I don;t find anything special about it. Definitely not for the amount of money asked for it! It is nice feelings, smells, nice, leaves your skin soft and with nice texture but then so do other Shiseido products... I will stay with Shiseido only not buy this one anymore.

Quick Take: intensive, lightweight, absorbs quickly
I have... i mean... HAD huge stubborn deep pores on and around my nose and also on my chin...
i kid you NOT, i was able to see a difference after just once use... I know, hard to believe... but I am serious!
I have tried many other things and wasted soo much money.
I was given this as a gift and will definately be investing the money to purchasing one myself when I run out!
I have asian combination skin, somewhat tempermental at times (sensitive).

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
Still not sure if this is supposed to be used as a toner or just put on as a sort of moisturizer, but I'm on my second bottle and I love it. I put one pump in my hand and rub my hands together and then put it on my face. Makes my skin feel super hydrated.

Regarding most Shiseido softeners/lotions

I know this isn't a review of the product above but I just wanted to add to the reviews already listed that in many cases the Shiseido softeners and lotions seem to sit on the skin and may seem good in colder weather, but Ole Henriksen recommends that you use the same product all year round but a heavier amount in winter - you don't really need to "change" products or buy extra ones. This may or may not be helpful to someone to try!

I'm a devotee of Shiseido but this product is a bit disappointing. It sits on top of my skin and makes me shiny - not dewy. I was looking for a light moisurizer for the summer and this isn't it. I'm still open to seeing how it works in the colder weather.

I have to say that this product actually works. I have used many different costly products and I am happy with this one. I used La Mer which I found heavy, but this product doesn't clog my pores and I did see a visibly difference. My skin even looks more elastic.
