The color was very pretty but it seemed like it showed all my flaws. Maybe I'm the one person it didn't work for. If you are thinking about buying it you may as well, Sephora has an excellent return policy whether its used or not!

Quick Take: natural looking, luminous glow
I recently switched all my makeup over due to skin sensitivities, and this was the second bronzer I tried. I usually have trouble finding a good color because I have such light skin, with very little yellow undertones. Most bronzers make me look dirty, not sun-kissed, but this one is sheer enough that I can layer until I feel I have the right coloring.

I use a bronzer every time I wear makeup & this is my fav. I do not buy because it goes quickly--for some reason, it does not last long at all. The color, however, is GORGEOUS.

This is a great color. It last all day and is so natural looking .. I am purchasing my second compact... I don't want to run out of this before my beach vacation. It will be perfect for a quick touch of make up and it's waterproof so I won't be sweating it off so easily .

This bronzer is a great color that isn't too muddy or too orange, and it has a nice pigmentation without having to be too careful with it. I also LOVE that it is 1) Matte and waterproof and 2) completely natural made with "skinvigorating" benefits! The packaging is also very sleek, but my bronzer didn't have the alligator print. It just had a gold fabric, but it still looked sophisticated. Just what I would want from Tarte!

I have a fair to light medium complexion. This bronzer gave me just the right amount of color without looking muddy. I had been using Bobbi brown's bronzer in natural and like Tartes just as much. Plus, the Tarte bronzer is cheaper:-)

Perfect bronzer. It works very well with my yellow undertone. I use it not only for contouring, but to give me some color, and it has exceeded my expectations. It also looks very natural, which I really like. Love this product, but not crazy about the texture about the packaging for some reason.

I've been using this for 2 years and I haven't found anything better. It gives you a natural glow without any of the usual orange shade most bronzers leave you. It's also waterproof AND matte. What more can you ask for?! :)

I have been using nars laguna, milk chocolate soleil & smashbox suntan matte bronzer until I came across this recently. Its the perfect color for me, its that pinky bronze which is exactly what works for my skin tone. it looks super natural, gives me that baked tan look that I love, plus its matte and waterproof. I use this bronzer in the E3 areas of my face, there after i use a shimmering bronze highlighter (mac superb) to highlight my cheekbones. I prefer to use pink brushes with this like tarte adored or the one that comes in the lorac duo.I really love this bronzer, its not as dark as the smashbox and doesnt give the dirty effect that I feel nars laguna has started to give. definitely going to repurchase.

After years of searching and hundreds of dollars wasted, I've finally found my HG bronzer! I have oily skin, so the matte finish is perfect for my complexion and keeps my face from looking shiny. The shade is also a great complement to my light-to-medium skin tone. Like many of Tarte's other products, this bronzer stays put for at least 8 hours. I couldn't be happier.

I LOVE THIS BRONZER!!! I am a dance instructor and a massage therapist. I am a total makeup girl through and through! But since both of my careers are very physically demanding, sweating is a big part of my everyday! I can teach 5-6 dance classes in a row and this bronzer will stay put! Perfect for looking fresh and sun kissed even at the gym ladies!!! I wouldn't recommend it for fair skin tones...shade maybe too dark.

I've tried about 6,000 bronzers and this is the one I keep coming back to. I have very pale skin in the winter and I get fairly tan in the summer, and this still looks natural year-round. Not orange-y at all. Stays all day. Love.

Tarte - not a fan. But I tried it anyways - it felt like I was putting clay or chalk on my face.
This is the last time I buy Tarte - will not be talked into buying it if my favorite is out of stock. I'd rather wait.

Great color. Love using a big fluffy brush to apply this bronzer. I love that it has natural ingredients. Makes me feel good that I'm using a product that is not harmful to my skin. I haven't tested out the waterproof part, but so far it has not faded or disappeared throughout the day on my oily skin. This is my first product from Tarte and I am very impressed. Will try other products from them.
