Considering Returning this product

Quick Take: non-sticky
I find myself not wanting to use this product because of the smell. This product seems to moisturize my hair well but I'm finding it very hard to get pass the smell. The old formula had a similar scent but it was not over bearing. To me, it kind of smells like baby throw up. I'm really considering returning this product and trying something new. I hate the thought of loosing the mositurizing benefits for the smell.

Quick Take: easy to use, non-sticky, smell great
My hair never hear so may compliments. My curls are so full and define with a lot of shine. I have thick frizz dry damaged and now looks luxurious curl hair. Amazing!! Love it! love it! this product so so much! Thank you Carol's daughter!

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky
I have thick, curly hair and am always on the look out for products that will keep my hair moisturized withouth being weighed down. Hair Milk has been the best product I've found, so far. Unlike most made for curly or dry conditioners, Hair Milk does the job it says it will. My only conflict with giving 5 stars is if you use too much, your hair does get heavy by the end of the day. The simple solution has been to use less!

Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use
I LOVE Carol's Daughter products. I found this when I was overseas and my hair was suffering from dryness. I have thick, curly hair and taming it is always difficult. But this is wonderful.

Perfect For Curls

I received this product as a deluxe sample with my last order. After using it there is a noticeable difference in the structure of my curls. They are separated better and the curl is much nicer looking. My hair also feels VERY soft after using it. Only downside is it doesn't seem to help with frizz, but I fix that with a little but of argon oil. Overall a great product!

Quick Take: lightweight
I bought a small bottle to sample it out. I did find it fast absorbing but it did not leave a good feel. My hair wasn't soft or silky as it is with other leave in conditioners. It felt like I had used a light gel.

Quick Take: smoothing, makes ringlets, maintains ringlets, subtly scented, long lasting
This is the best African American hair care product I have ever found. It truly smooths my hair and leaves it in ringlets for days. It does not let my hair fuzz out. This product is NOT for curly hair that is less coarse. Follow the directions and you will love the results.

Quick Take: easy to use, rich
I'm one who loves the scent, it's almost like Calendula. I also have very brittle hair (I have Sjogren's and Lupus so everything is dry!) When I first applied it to damp hair it felt like I could have used more. Big mistake LOL. Just use a little, and your curls or waves will bounce and define well. That's my only complaint- that it really must be applied conservatively, at least until you find the perfect balance for your hair, texture and thickness. I'm going to buy the full size... I only tried it as a sample and really do like it.

Quick Take: non-sticky, easy to use
I Absolutely LOVE this product I have SUPER Curly hair like so curly when its wet it looks like a Jeri Curl (NOT how I wish) This product when applied to my hair wet (from fresh out of shower) or even damp. Works the Best. I let it air dry (tks about 30 mins 4 Me) & the end result is Soft Bouncy Beautiful Curls. I like to wear it in a Curly Fro (like Jill Scott wears from time 2 time).

Quick Take: smoothing, curl enhancing, mildly scented like roses, for black hair only
This product is wonderful! Do not use it unless your hair has an African American level of curl. In other words you have to have the kinks and rolls for this balm to do what you want it to. I tried all kinds of Black hair care products, but if you follow the directions, this stuff is the best. It keeps my hair in something approximating ringlets for days. My hair used to fuzz out on the first day, and nothing seemed to tame it until I found this stuff. Now it is sleek and stays clumped into "ringlets" instead of fuzzing out into a halo around my head. The smell is very mild. I recommend this for African American women.

I bought this for my daughter who has extremely dry damaged hair. Her hair was ruined in a salon. We have tried everything to bring her hair back to how it was. She has very thick hair with waves. It is now breaking off and ragged looking! This was referred to me at Sephora so I thought we would give this a try. First off it has a very pleasant smell. Smells clean. My daughter put it on after her shower at night and the next morning her hair really did look so much better. Her curls were there and it was more bouncy! I tried it myself (I have thin blonde hair) and I love it too. I am new to Carol's Daughter but I am anxious to try some other things as well. Out of all the leave in's we have tried my daughter said this one makes her hair feel the best!

as a CD lover, i thought that this product would be a better product than the Shea Moisture Curl Milk, we ran out of. it was not. it does absolutely nothing and i'm glad i purchased the tester size. i would not buy this again.

Its my jew fro. This stuff worked great on my curls, ringlets, and zigzags. I usually use redken smooth down leave in conditioner with redken ringlets serum on top. But I can easily swap the redken leave in conditioner with this hair milk and it looks even better than with the other product. And this is at a great price! Non sticky, Non Greasy, doesn't smell the best but if yer hair gets nappy, or frizzy like mine and you want your curls to shine. This is the product for you. Ya I don't think its for most caucasion hair. Curl means CURL. Too bad I only bought the 2oz to test it out. Now I want the whole thing.

I have extremely curly, natural (african american) hair. I just went through the relaxer transition and big chop, and was looking for a nice leave-in conditioner for my everyday styling. I am also not a huge fan of the smell of this product, but it smells similar to the old Hair Milk to me. The results are good, though. It is a nice, lightweight conditioner that gives my curls good definition without feeling stiff, sticky or greasy. I use this with the co-wash and my curls feel very soft and look healthy. I would not recommend it for wavy or fine hair - you should probably have relatively defined curls to see a good result.
