The winter really drys out my skin and I was looking for something to smooth out my heels. I was skeptical when I purchased it, but figured it was worth a shot. Works great, best to use after a hot shower or soak feet in warm water to soften the skin. I was pleasantly pleased with this product, and would recommend it!

Quick Take: no good
I wanted to try this to maintain in between pedicures. The "exfoliater" side is not sharp enough to really get those callouses and rough spots smooth. And the file side I found to be pretty worthless. My pumice/ foot files do a better job!! Epic fail.....save your 20 bucks!

My feet were getting pretty gross there for a while, and this fixed them right up. Took some effort, but the "cheese grater" side got my heels feeling smooth. Like other reviewers suggested, it's best to use this right out of the shower for best results. There is a slight flaw with the design though, the clip-in piece which is supposed to hold the dead skin doesn't quite hold it unless you are holding the tool completely upright, which is impossible when you are filing your own feet. So use this in the bathroom unless you don't mind your foot dust getting everywhere.

this set really works I suffer from dry thick cracked feet and I just used it no mor cracks baby bottom smooth perfect to get feet ready for the summer

Easier to hold than other pedicure tools because of the extended surface that covers the magnet. I like that it closes together from the magnet and that the system is washable with warm water. The grate side was not as sharp as I expected, but the file side is awesome. I use after the shower so I do not have to exert as much work.

The grater side of the tool is not really sharp enough in my opinion to get the job done if you have calloused feet. The file side on the other hand is quite effective.

This is the first professional pedi tool I've owned, so maybe that biases my opinion a bit, but this thing does the job! I've only used it on dry feet. It's gentle, but powerful. No nicks or scratches, and the storage area for buffed skin is great. The tool is easy to use, and my feet have never been smoother (at least since I was a kid...)!

I have extremely tough, thick-skinned feet due to genetics and rough care due to sports. This tool is most probably effective, its just that my feet are overly thick and need special attention to. Experiment, have fun.

This product works so much better than any pumice stone or file. It takes all the hard labor out of the task itself--very easy to use. And you can't really go to far or go overboard and cause any actual damage like you can w/some of those other tools out there. I bought it to use on my boyfriends feet and worked like charm.

Quick Take: well designed, well made
I gave this product a good rating based on the quality of Tweezerman implements, the very cool design, and the fact that the file side is great. The 'callous shaver' side is weak, it doesn't do anything for me. It comes apart so you can clean it, which is nice, but it doesn't remove any dead skin because it's too dull, so this is unnecessary. The file side gets washed in warm soapy water.

its very cute and easy to store no mroe getting dirt or grime on ur buffer or worrying abt it rubbing against smthing however its not so great on the heel.u have to rlly go at it to slough away the rough spots , i expected better from tweezerman but all in all its not a bad product , does do its job ..eventually

Quick Take: easy to use
You do need to work a little when using this tool because it's very gentle and one swipe is certainly not going to give you baby smooth feet. That said...I use this once a week when I give myself a pedicure and my feet stay nice and smooth until my next use. You can't use this once and think that is all you will need...it's something that you will have to put into your repetoire if you want to continue to have smooth feet.

Perfect for getting rid of those ugly dry, cracked heels that are an unflattering accessory with sandals. Love this product and highly recommend this compact pedicure tool. Better than any pumice block!

Really like the Sole Mate. Similar to the Pediegg but better looking and sturdier I thnk. Magnetically holds together for a sleek look. Can be used on damp or dry skin. Works better on dry.

Quick Take: easy to use, convenient
This is a good product - not perfect, but good. I've had some pretty poor experiences with callus shavers (TOO effective) & files (not effective enough). This has a side with mini-shavers and a side with a metal file - overall, does a pretty good job, just takes a while.

I like the idea of the magnets for easy storage, but I didn't find it to be as great as I thought it was going to be. For daily use on sensitive skin this would be good, I think I just needed something a little heavier duty since I wear steel toe boots for work.
