Wonderful colors, highly pigmented, however these colors crease on me horribly! I have tried with and without primer and with several different primers. At the end of the day this shadow is always all creased up. Fairly costly IMO , not worth it for the staying power. I wished the formula was better however because the colors are truly beautiful when first applied.

I love Illamasqua, and these colors are gorgeous. However, I don't find them suitable for daily wear. That being said, they tend to crease, so I can't wear them on nights out either. Sad. But if you're looking for something for editorial/make up artist looks, these are great. If you want something with similar pay-off but more lasting power, I suggest the MUFE aqua creams.

I wish I have read the reviews before purchasing this product. The colors are amazing. the texture super creamy, like butter. I was sure it's going to be a winner for me. But- as a few girls mentioned here- it creases terribly! I used it on my lids over primer, set with powder eye-shadow- and it creased after 2 hours. A great disappointment, especially at this price tag.

If you are looking for a colored base or scream eyeshadow, this is not what you are looking for. They crease like crazy!!!!!! They are pretty colors but they are just so watery. What I do is I use TFSI under this, and pat similar powder shadows on top... Yea, if you don't want to be bothered by doing this, I would say get it... And they are not build-able! Remember only use one layer !

I've fallen in love with Illamasqua! All of their products are highly pigmented and long-lasting - they are a bit pricey though, but because they last so long, it's worth the price.

believe me, i wanted to love this product ...
bottom line, the colors look absolutely amazing in the palette, but when transfered onto my lids it became a different story.

i tested this out with both too faced primer on one eye and benefits lemonade primer on the other, 30 min passed when i looked at my eyes and the color was there but i noticed the creasing line. when an hour came along, you cannot imagine my grief. the creasing lines got worse and my color was practically faded! the bronze and the gold even looked exactly the same to me by the 2nd hour.
the product is very creamy and doesn't dry quickly, yes it will blend well. but in the end there would be no point because the colors are all going to look the same.
long story short, this product did not work for me. for the price, and let alone because it's illamasqua, i'm shocked the quality of it was this way.

when i saw this palette i was incredibly infatuated by all the colors. though it is a cream product, i figured with a decent primer it will stay and last long especially since it's illamasqua.
unfortunately, i tested this out with two different primers (each on a different eye) and the results were the same. the colors within the first hour i was out had already creased and were faded. i could not believe it ! i had to touch it up again, but it did the exact same thing after i checked 30 min later.
i tried to love this product, but there's no way to hold on to it for the price.. i was fooled by the beauty of it =/

I love all the Illamasqua products. I bought this because the colors looked beautiful. When i used it, even with a primer, the colors faded and it hardly looked like i had anything on my eyes. Very disappointed.

Quick Take: portable, true to color
The shades are gorgeous and a little goes a long way. It can be hard to set in place. Apply with a small synthetic brush and then set with a similarly colored shadow over top of it.

Love the Illamasqua line but these metallic cream liquid metals didn't stay in place, not even with primer. I was upset cause I really liked these colors. I found them to be too greasy :(

i returned it. it looked magical in the store but at home i realized it wasn't worth the $42.00. there just wasn't much product so i exchanged it for the illamasqua cake eyeliner. it's the best eyeliner i have ever owned! so i'm pleased with with.

Just discovered how to use it

Quick Take: portable, good value, difficult but worth it
I got this palette in Nov 2010 in no. 1 & tried using it & it creased horribly I tried it alone as well as over TFSI(Nothing against too faced.I have very oily eyelids TFSI is still my go to primer for other shadows ). I was thinking of returning it but was so busy with holiday festivity & forgot.. It was sitting on my dresser until I thought to give it another shot with another primer ( UDPP this time) as every primer has different formula & wallah it stayed whole day & no creasing.. I really had to try to make it work so I took off the 1 star but product's effect & color pay off is amazing. Try using it with different primers and/or setting powder (I dint use any setting powder) as this is a difficult product but if you can make it work this is an amazing product to own.. Good Luck Experimenting

The colors in the case looked exceptionally vibrant and I was thrilled looking at what appeared to be creamy liquid metal and for $42.50 I expected the color in the case to be the color on my lids. I tried the green first and not only was it not vibrant on my skin it seemed to wear off just as soon as I put it on. The other colors wore off just as quickly and at best were lack-lustre. I was going to purchase both palettes at the same time, but held off and opted for the one with more color options and I'm glad I did. I wouldn't say I have any ill feelings towards Illamasqua, but I will not be purchasing any more of thier liquid metal products. I do however want to purchase their line of pure pigments.

The Real Problem

I see most of the people that really hate this product seem as if they are not setting the cream. Primer will help yes but you need more then that for a cream. Try setting it with a shear loose powder or a color you have that is close to the cream color. It will make a world of difference. Another tip is apply as little of the cream as you can to get the color you want then set it this will cut down creasing even more. Adding another color on top will only make the color brighter and gives it lasting power. Also play with other colors on top to make new colors and find something new add black green or pink shadows to the gold. There are so many things other then shadow you can use it for too. Use them as a cheek highlight or a blush think outside the box.
