Quick Take: shimmery, gradual, long lasting, smell goes away fast, quick drying
This stuff is great, my mom gave me a sample size and I've tried it 3 times so far on my legs. I'm VERY fair skinned and this looks so natural, not orange at all and I love the slight shimmer effect. A little bit stayed on my hands but my face wash with salicylic acid in it took it right off. Make sure you exfoliate first!

Like almost any other tanner that I use, this smells awful! The coverage is average and not superior to any other products that I use. The price is too high for what it offers.

This product is part of my permanent beauty ensemble. I use about 3 tubes a year along with my gradual daily lotion of another brand. This is the bronzer you want when you need a quick flash of color. NO ORANGE. Just the right amount of sheen and glitter. And a little goes a long way. If you can't wait the time for it to dry like most which is 15 minutes, just puts some powder on and then get dressed. It's awesome and I am always spreading the word to people when they compliment me on my "winter tan" that it's all LANCÔME FLASH BRONZER!

Good product - terrible smell

Quick Take: shimmery, long lasting, goes dark, doesn't turn you orange
I would give this product 5 stars but, the smell is terrible. It doesn't start out that way when you put it on but after a couple of hours, it starts to stink like your everyday tanning gel/lotion. It will rub off on your clothes so don't put anything on after applying it that you wouldn't wish to get a stain on. It washes out but if you go all day with it, you don't wish to see that either.

I have runner's tan (shorts, sock lines, if you get what I mean) and this bronzer almost evened the difference out, it is so natural looking.

I got a mini-size tube of this (about 4 inches tall) in a Lancome gift promotion you get at the mall. I don't use self-tanning gel anywhere but on my face, so when my Dior face bronzing gel ran out, I started using this. Maybe you're technically not supposed to use it on your face, but I LOVE it...it's the perfect shade (not too dark), and it blends super easily so there's no obvious line below your neck). It also has virtually no odor compared to other bronzing gels I've used in the past...mainly Shiseido and Dior. Also, a little goes a long way, so it lasts a long time! And, I just realized I forgot to scrub my hands this morning after putting it on (although I was brushing my teeth at the same time, so they probably did get wet)...but my hands are not awful orange and smelly even 4 hours later.
I started to realize a few months ago, that the days when I'm thrilled with my look...as in, everything came together perfectly and my face looks contoured and fresh, are the days when I used this product. Time to buy some more!
On a side note... I do have clear, normal skin. I've never had any skin problems outside of the one off blemish every month or two. So I'm not sure if it would cause problems for someone who had oily or combination skin because it is a gel. For what it's worth...

I have fair skin, but I live 5 miles from the beach so when it starts getting warm I feel silly without ANY color. I was really excited to get this based on positive reviews. Unfortunately this product made me break out really bad. I don't have extremely sensitive skin. It isn't oily or too dry either. I used this after my evening shower. I woke up in the middle of the night scratching and it lasted until I was able to shower again. I wasn't sure if it could have been a reaction to something that I ate, touched, exc. So I tried it again on my legs only, yeah definitely the lotion.

Smells great but doesn't last

I usually spray tan and decided to start using self tanners. I use to use St. Tropez but I believe the formula was changed because its no longer as dark as it use to be. The flash bronzer smells great but doesn't last very long. It washes off the next day. I have to apply alot in one day which for the price is a bit too much.

I consider myself a self-tanner aficionado! I have tried them all! This is a year round staple! Subtle, natural beautiful color or use 3 applications for deeper color. Adds a slight shimmer for evenings when you want to bare a little skin! I never want that fake-tan look! This is a great product! I use it on arms,chest back and abs, not just legs!

Too quick-drying!

I have tried many, many self tanners. This one dries the most quickly out of any that I have tried. Generally, that quality is a good quality, but in this case, it is simply too quick. I don't have adequate time to spread it evenly, and the result is streaking. Not good!
Maybe Lancome could make a product that dries in 3 minutes, rather than 30 seconds?
The color is deep and relatively natural looking. The scent is not unpleasant. Color last 2-3 days.

Finally! This bronzer goes on smoothly and evenly... does not look like a streaky, dirty orange mess like the others I've tried. This must be product number 9 in my self tanner/bronzer quest. I've also tried airbrush tanning, a serious disappointment... and not removable, even with turpentine or acetone! An orange nightmare at my sister's wedding!! But with this Flash Bronzer, my legs feel ultra smooth and look naturally tan and not at all glittery with the first application. Without any product, my skin looks extra white or just red. Not good. I only wish Lancome made a larger size!

Quick Take: easy to use, natural tan look
I've been using this product for the past 2 months now and love this stuff! I keep getting asked where I went to get a great tan. I wish it came in a large pump size bottle as this lasts me about 3-4 full body applications. A few notes: you need to apply this the night before, let it dry for at least an hour before putting on a long sleeve shirt and leggings/sweatpants, so it doesn't rub off on your bed sheets overnight because it will rub off a bit. During this hour you can't even sit down - you have to walk around the house naked because anything that touches a surface will leave a lightened/blotchy area of skin. When you shower the next morning, you will see some color in the water. If you don't rinse off the next day, the color will rub off on your clothes and you will maintain that faint self tanner smell. The tan lasts about 3-5 days depending on shower routine, shaving, body scrub, etc. Since it's been a hot summer, I find natural sweat will cause the tanner to come off quicker and you still have a chance of it coming off onto your clothes. I wore a cami under a tank and wound up with tanner on my cami, but it came off in the wash. This was after the tanner was on for 2-3 days already. If you follow my suggested steps, you should have a great tan for a few days. Also, I apply this with latex glove and have no issues with streaking, etc. Just make sure you rub it into the skin like lotion.

I absolutely LOVE this self tanner! Until a couple years ago I was a year round tanner. I started reading about all the cancer risks and realized if I don't stop going to the tanning bed now this will happen. I bought a spray tan machine.It was messy, smelled bad and would leave me looking orange most of the time. This product actually looked natural and the smell is great! I may never use my spray tan machine again, as long as I have a bottle of this in the house :) I will definitely buy this again!

Let me first say that I am incapable of getting a tan from natural sunlight AND I live in Hawaii... sunless tanners are absolutely necessary to me, but it's hard to find something that really looks natural. This seems to do the trick. I use it together with Sephora Self tanning spray.
Pros: Nice natural color that dries quickly and only takes an hour or so to show up. Smooths my skin. Super buildable and isn't super dark right off the bat.
Cons: After it dries it has a distinctive fake tan smell... not the worst I've ever smelled, but it's still there. My biggest issue with this self tanner though is.... the glitter/shimmer! After I put this on I look like I rolled in somebodies glittery craft pile. I rubs off after a while, but I'm not a fan.
Overall: I like the natural color but hate the glitter/shimmer. Since the glitter/shimmer rubs off eventually though it's a product I'll use again.
