Quick Take: shimmering, ineffective, nice texture
Disappointed :( Wanted a nice self tanner & love lancome, so I had high hopes for this. It went on as a streaky bronzer & never left the color afterwards. I do however like the texture & I'll finish it up because of its anti aging components

I bought this product as it is both a self tanner & anti age product in one. Unfortunately as a self tanner it doesn't appear to make any difference to the colour of my skin at all. I am olive skinned with green eyes, my face is quite pale so I thought it'd be perfect but even using every night for 4 consecutive days my skin is just as pale as day 1.
The product is so thick & gluggy i couldn't possible use it in the morning under makeup so can only use at night. It is way too greasy & sits on the skin making it sticky.
Wouldn't recommend even for someone with very dry skin. It smells pretty awful too.
A waste of money.

Love this stuff!

I blend a little of this flash bronzer in with my regualr moistureizer daily and it just gives the best glow without going over the top. Not sure I'd use it on it's own. But it has a nice creamy feel the sinks in. Allot of the other tanners I've used have a waxy feel.

A Little Overpriced

Quick Take: decent but overpriced
Received a sample and thought I would try the full size for the Summer. The color is nice, it goes on evenly. Not sure how much it really moisturizes or fights wrinkles and lines.
If you're over 30, I would definitely use this with a true anti-defense moisturizer.I don't know if I would purchase it again.

Seriously, for $40 this should be a great product but to be honest, I don't feel like I look any tanner after using this product vs. a regular moisturizer. If a tan is important to you, this is not the product for you.

Really like the bronzer but even though i have alot of dark tone to my skin, the bronzer is VERY dark, so usually don't use it unless I'm going somewhere with full makeup on. Otherwise good product.

Didn't think I'd like this, but LOVE it!

Quick Take: not orange, great color
I was first upset when I found out that Lancome no longer made a facial self-tanner WITHOUT a tinted bronzer in it. Desperate, I tried it anyway, and LOVED it.
The tinted bronzer is a great shade, just right, not too dark or light. The self tanner that developed a few hours later was not orangy at all. I have a fair complexion - I tan my body but cover my face from the sun. The consistency was great, a nice moisterizing base that I felt help fine lines. This worked perfectly and smelled as good as it gets for a self tanner.

Pretty effective

I do like this product a lot. It doesn't seem to work as well as an overnight self tanner, but when I put it on in the mornings it definitely adds a lovely bronze to my skin and does seem to give an overall clearer tone to my skin. I also like that it has sunscreen in it. My only negative is I put this on every day - and it doesn't seem to build up / develop a darker tan as you'd expect a self tanner to. Other than that, it's moisturizing which I need and gives a nice color that doesn't feel like foundation or tinted moisturizer.

The texture was ok, the color was ok. Oh but the smell! It was so strong (sunscreen smell) and it did not fade. I just couldn't take the smell and had to return it!

This tanner is ok. I think it would work better if I didn't wash my face every night, which is something I'm not gonna start doing. It's just too expensive to wash off everyday.

Works good for a light temporary golden glow

This product claims gradual tanner I think its actually a temporary bronzer. When I applied it looks great, golden glow but once I washed off at night I didnt see any color forming over a period of time. I started to use St. Tropez gradual tan med/dark and have seen better results.

I'm so impressed with this product. I'm olive complected, but I got tired of using compact to get an even tone. This product fixed that problem and now all I use is this cream and mascara! No streaks, it smells great and provides moderate sun protection. I LOVE it!!
