I'm new at eyemakeup, and too old for "siren" looks, but this set is a winner. I appreciate the "how to" cards so much, and the colors are easy to apply and flattering. I vote this a winner!

My First TOO FACED Product

Quick Take: portable
This eye shadow palette was the very first Too Faced product I purchased that turned me on to every other product this company produces. Ever since I have been trying something new several times a month. What I like about the Too Faced palettes is that they come with fold-out instructions on how to achieve at least 3 different looks (with images). Very luxurious and soft shadows that go on silky smooth and last all day.

I absolutely love Too Faced products! You get a great deal for the price. The colors are already set up for whats going to compliment each other so you dont have to figure it out or test it or buy a whole bunch of little ones. The cards are good examples of some of the many ways to use the shades on your eyes. The colors are potent and strong so when it gets to the darker colors, a little goes a long way! I have oily skin so I always use primer. this one actually came with a sample of their too faced eye primer and it was amazing! I'm switching from Urban Decay to this. It makes it last all day and through a gym work out! Make sure you have the right shadow and blending brushes though because the dark colors are REALLY DARK you want to make sure it works well the first time so you wont have to take it off and re-do it. Watch some youtube videos on how to apply it so you can practice. I have had another eye shadow collection from two faced for 2 years now and there is still SOOOO much color left and I used it like every other day. That's the reason I decided to get this one! Great product, must have, definitely will love!

Quick Take: good value, portable, easy to figure out how to use
I love this shadow collection! I realized my eye shadow skills stalled somewhere in the 1980's, and I needed an update. This palette makes it so easy. The neutral colors are very blendable and last all day. You can mix and match any of the colors you want to, but so far I've only followed the suggestions on the cards. They tell you exactly which colors to use and where! The cards store easily under the colors so you can take the whole set with you, instructions and all. If I had to add one little thing it would be even more convenient if there were some brushes included, even little cheapie ones so you don't have to remember to bring your own separately.

While this would work for any age, it is great for *ahem* older ladies who can't get away with glitter anymore. I can actually use all of them which is extremely rare. The black I just use as a liner. Carefully.

I do not wear eye shadow often. I save it for special occasions and nights out but I love this palette. There is something for everyone and the cards are very helpful. I may even start wearing eye shadow at work as well as in the evenings!

Well when I purchased this item I did it on an impulse so didn't really test it before I bought it. If simple and classic is what you want then I would recommend it. It is not dramatic at all it is very light maybe on my medium dark skin tone it really didn't show. If you are new to make up or like to keep it super natural as if you have no shadow on then this is you palette. Last a really long time also.

Quick Take: natural, flattering
I LOVE this palette. I use it nearly every day for a daytime look or for work. I feel its flattering my fair skin tone. The shadows are very smooth and blend well, especially with good quality brushes (I've been using the sephora pro collection brushes). The colors are neutral and not overpowering. There is a good combo of matte and shimmery colors. I like to use the "like a virgin" color as a liner shadow especially on the bottom, as it is not very harsh and looks natural. I also use the "lap dance" color as a liner shadow on top and bottom for a more dramatic look. These colors are definitely not bold like the urban decay naked palettes, but that makes them more wearable in my opinion.

Quick Take: good value, pigmented, long-wearing
This was my first Too Faced palette, and I was very hesitant to buy it because of the reviews that claimed that these shadows have a lot of fall out. I'm soooo glad that I went ahead and got it! Yes the colors are sheer, especially the matte ones. Hello...it's a naked eye palette! I still think that the shadows look great on and add just the right amount of color and shimmer for a casual, everyday look. Also, I did not experience fallout with these shadows as long as I use my Shadow Insurance primer. I have not tried them without a primer, so they may not be as long-wearing if you don't typically use one. The color pay off was great, especially the "fashion" colors. I highly recommend this palette and will be purchasing more from Too Faced!

This palette is arguably the best makeup purchase I have ever made. I tend to need a bit of help with putting makeup looks together--that stuff doesn't come naturally to me. These three looks come with instructions and make it incredibly easy to quickly put on makeup before work in the morning/right before running out the door for dinner/etc...
The colors are beautiful. Beautiful. I always get compliments when I use this palette.

Great everyday eye palette

I recieved this as a gift, and its great to give as one too because the "naked" colors compliment any face. The "satin sheets" shadow in this palette is a highlighter I use with all of my other eyeshadows--it's a fun glimmery shade to brighten up the inner corners of the eye. All the other colors are wonderfully neutral, so it's easy to get ready for work in one eyeshadow kit. My only complaint is that the case (like the other Too Faced packages) is too bulky for travel. I prefer the Urban Decay Naked II for travel).

My Go-To Shadow Palette

Whenever I'm pressed for time, this is the first thing I grab. I would consider this a must-have palette for cooler skintones. I find a lot of browns pull too warm for me, but Like a Virgin and Lap Dance are very muted and not yellow-y. It's really hard to overdo it with this palette, the colors are simple and wearable, totally work/school/church (despite the color names) appropriate!

When I bought the Natural/Neutral Eye Collection I felt like it offered everything I could possibly want. However, since purchasing the Naked Eye palette, I realized I was wrong. This is the most gorgeous, easy to use palette with top quality shadows. This collection can take you from day to night so easily. I don't know how they managed to include colors that are neutral, yet vampy. I've used this palette every single day since getting it. It's great for travel or for your everyday handbag too!

I bought this palette after returning the Naked palette, which I found too glittery, dark and generally overwrought and overhyped. This Too Faced palette has lovely, versatile, soft neutrals that work much better for me. You really do need to use a shadow primer or the colors won't be saturated enough or last long enough. I bought Too Faced's Shadow Insurance to go with it and it's perfect.
