Quick Take: no instructions included in the box
I do not recommend this item, since it's very cheaply made. Definitely not worth $100. 20$ is more like it. It didn't even do anything to my face. I had it on the highest and afterward I rubbed my face using a facial toner, and there was still dirt on my face! I ended up returning it and purchasing a better brand of item.

Quick Take: easy to use
I have been having acne since I was 10 years old. Now I am 20 and I am sick and tired of this !. I have gone to so many dermatologists, tried so many creams, soaps, pills, treatments and NOTHING WORKS ! ... When you get to this point, you loose all hope and don't want to try anything else at all because results are always disappointing.
A month ago, I bought this product without much expectations actually, I was just trying another 'failure'. However, after the 2nd use, I started to see such amazing results ! For the first time ever, my face felt so clean and soft !! Don't expect to be a miracle that will wash away all acne in the first day because those things don't exist. But after a couple of days of regular use and NOT PICKING UR FACE! you will seee truly amazing results

Quick Take: easy to use
I've been using my polishing system for about 4 weeks now & can really see the results already. I've had problematic skin (breakouts) for most of my life & I'm always very cautious about trying new products & tools that may cause more problems than they cure. So I was skeptical when I made my purchase, but due to the other great reviews I felt it was worth a try & I'm really glad I followed through. I've been using it approximately twice per week & love the way it makes my skin feel after each use, so smooth & clean feeling. Because I worry about my sensitive skin reacting adversely I've been using my cleanser after each treatment as to not leave any residue which may break me out. I'm always prone to breakouts after using scrubs, but haven't had any problem with this product. So far the results have been fantastic & I recommend it to anyone looking to improve their skin quality.

I bought and promptly returned the Clarisonic because I saw no results and thought it was a waste of money at $200+ bucks. Then I bought the DDF version because the price was more reasonable and it came with the dermabrasion attachment, and I love it! The Clarisonic made me break out like crazy, but somehow this one does not. It has actually cleared my skin up beautifully! I use the cleansing brush attachment every day, and it leaves my skin squeaky clean and glowing. I use the dermabrasion attachment once a week, and it is AMAZING for getting rid of any dry or flaky skin. It feels cheaper and more low-tech than the Clarisonic, but for me it works so much better. I love it! My skin has never looked so good!

Quick Take: easy to use, leaves my older skin glowing!, unclogs pours and leaves no film if rinsed well., has no fragrance or artificial colors!, makes my skin look softer and smoother under makup, not cheap but well worth the price., nice compact size easy to hold on to.
I am completely amazed by this product. I have been using it for a good long while now and each time I use it my skin feels so soft and so smooth. I love this! It is a nice mid priced little machine. The exfoliating rice/scrub is fantastic! It leaves my skin so soft and smooth ...cleanses out the pours, gets rid of small blemishes and blackheads. Makes getting rid of ingrown hairs easier too. I love the scrub...I use it every other day...it gets rid of all the dead skin and cleans out the pours very nicely...gets all the excess make-up out and off the skin. It also gets rid of the little bumps that come with age...on the neck and upper chest...I am not sure what this is called but I have heard it refereed to, by this awful term, as chicken skin! I was amazed at how well it got rid of this condition after one use! I have oily skin and have tried so many exfoliating scrubs with not much luck. I have no problems using this scrub at all..I normally can not use mineral oil on my skin...any where but this product does not cause me any problems at all. I have found that if you push to hard with the brush or pad while cleansing or exfoliating your skin will get red and irritated and then it takes a while for this to go away...but if you use very very little pressure you should be fine. You really need to rinse throughly to get the scrub off. I use mine in the shower and let the water rinse it off then use my hands for what remains. I use it on dry skin ...I apply the scrub before I get into the shower and use the sponge pad first...then when I have completely rinsed off the product...I change out the sponge pad for the brush and then I cleans my face...providing I have not had any make up on at all...this is not for removing make up at all...your face must be dry and clean. If I am wearing make up...I cleans with the cleanser using the brush...then wait until my face it completely dry then use the scrub. I do not use the scrub on my chest as it causes irritation...I found this out by accident!! I truly love this product but I have one BIG concern. I can no longer find the replacement package that has the replacement brush and the 2 sponge pads. As of right now I am not in need of it but I like to have one handy. I need to find another source of getting one. All in all this is a fantastic product...I can not say enough good things about it. I am glad I bought this!

Quick Take: easy to use, deep cleansing
I bought the Clarisonic Mia last summer in hopes of it helping my skin. It ended up making it a lot worse, even after the purging period. I ended up returning it, sadly. I went in recently acquiring about the new acne Mia and was shown this. THIS is definitely much better for me. It moves in a circle, rather than the Clarisonic's pulsating. Its much more gentle on my skin but still exfoliates. And the crystals are so awesome. I was worried it would scratch my face but it definitely doesn't. I want to use it everyday, but obvs I don't. This package, overall, is wonderful. And I cannot wait to see how much better my skin will become.

First: If you are just looking for a rejuvenated look, this is your product! Strictly on a refreshed look, I give this product a five.
I have heavy hyper-pigmentation that I want to get rid of and a Sephora consultant pointed me straight away to DDF, so I went with it. Within the first week or two I started breaking out more and was really worried; however, I'm on to week three and my face is really - I mean REALLY - smooth and has a very nice "glow." Before this, I thought "glow" was just a buzz word, honestly. But my face feels and looks more even so my makeup goes more easily. It's just...a glow!
That being said, I feel like when people busy products that are supposed to be similar to microdermabrasion, they are looking for more extreme-ish results. I can't say that I've been using it long enough to talk about those more lont-term effects yet. I'm told that it could be up to three or even four months before I will be able to see a difference in the hyper-pigmentation. I know people also use it for fine lines. I also haven't see a difference yet. Those are the only reasons I gave the system a four.

This little gadget improved my skin in so many ways! I have suffered from adult acne for 5 years and when I started using this along with glycolic acid wash my skin responded with an immediate glow and smoothness that I only had after professional microdermabrassions. If you're on the fence, get it! You won't be dissappointed.

It has all the benefits of the clarisonic (plus I like the swivelly motion of the head of this one better than the clarisonic) plus microdermabrasion and the microdermabrasian is really great. The foam head and crystals are wonderfully effective with out being harsh at all. I'd recommend having a really good moisturizer as well.

Bought the clarisonic and used it for about a month twice a day and saw no difference in my skin whatsoever. I returned it and bought the ddf, used the microdermabrasion and saw a difference after one use. I hate when people over exaggerate, this is my honest opinion.

I went in to my local Sephora store to purchase the MIA system, but ultimately chose the DDF one because it's smaller/easier to handle and because it does microdermabrasion as well as deep cleansing. I've had it for a few weeks and so far, so good! I do wish it came with some sort of carrying case, especially some sort of stand on which to dry the elements (brush head, etc) after use without having to put them down on something unsanitary like the sink counter. I have pretty dry skin though and I've found that with regular use (deep cleansing at least once a day, microdermabrasion at least once a week) there is already a difference in the smoothness of my skin. Pretty content!

Quick Take: not well designed
So, it's true that you can get this same device at a drugstore, but it doesn't come with the scrub or polishing head. So, what you can do is buy the device cheaper and buy the refill kit at Sephora. The heads work with it. It saves you a little money, however I wouldn't use this thing anyhow. It pulls your skin when it rotates!!! This is not good for your skin's elasticity, ladies! The more you stretch and pull, the sooner you end up with sag and wrinkles. I also found that it didn't really do much for the appearance of my skin. I use Proactiv and I just don't think I need this on top of the exfoliation I get from Proactiv each night. I think if I was in my 20's, this would be the gadget for me, but I don't need something pulling my skin into swirls all over my face. This thing is cheap-o and you can use your hands with the scrub to get the same results.

Quick Take: fun to use
I have had acne since I was 16 and im now 28...it has been irritating to say the least. Any who, my husband bought this for me and i thank him daily for it. I use the cleansing brush every day (its so fun to use, I look forward to using it) with just my normal cleanser (Philosophy Purity or Boscia) and my face feels incredible afterwards. Its like I can feel air being able to get into each of my pores. Such a great feeling. Then once a week, I use the micro crystals and that just is the cherry on top. Since I have been using this, my face is smooth, there are now times when I don't have a single blemish on my face which never happens and i no longer have to use full foundation. I just use a tinted moisturizer and my mineral veil. I have gotten so many compliments on the new condition of my skin. I would recommend this to ANYONE!

i get microdermabrasion and chemical peels as part of my monthly beauty regimen. it gets expensive. I purchased this device hoping to at least save my monthly trip for dermabrasion...and i am HAPPY i made the purchase. i use it everyday as my skin can handle the abrassiveness. the cleansing brush i use twice a day and the foam head plus exfoliating crystals once a day. my skin texture has improved, looks healthier and hyperpigmentation. best beauty purchase for 2011. wish i bought it sooner.

I tried the Clarisonic and it was way too harsh on my face. When i first tried this i thought it was too gentle. I thought it was just a cheaper less effective Clarisonic. Well, my skin is softer, doesn't feel irritated and no extra breakouts (like i got with the C, even with the softest brush head).

I bought this hoping it would help with my acne and a few marks on my face. After about a month of regular use, the only difference is my face is a bit softer. A bit dissapointing considering the cost. I figure I'll keep using it until I finish the bottle of "crystals: and then decide if I'll purchase the refill.

I've been using this product once a week for a few months now. Before I used it, I was off a potent drug called Accutane that helped clear my face but I was left with hideous acne scarring and hyperpigmentation. I also had really bad skin texture. I started using this, and honestly I didn't notice a major difference like the reviewers said. My face turns even redder because microdermabrasion basically takes off he first layer of skin off your face and its supposed to be harsh.. It does make your face feel really smooth after though. So after months of not giving up, and using it regularly I can say that it does work. My skin texture is pretty even, and less redness from hyperpigmentation. I would recommend this to anyone who has hyperpigmentation.

Quick Take: a miracle!
I have tried everything under the sun even dermatologist prescribed face cream. My face has been terrible for about 7 years now I won't even think about going outside without makeup but since I started using these DDF Products my face is amazingly clear and even the red spots are fading. I have been using it since about June 17 and my face has been amazing since about 2 weeks after I started using these. I did the microdermabrasion twice a week at first and the acre scrub every night and the acre foam every morning (always using the brush that comes with the microdermabrasion kit) then I see the face mask 2-3 times a week and the benzoyl peroxide gel at night and in the morning...till my face cleared....now I do the microdermabrasion once or every other week, the acne scrub every night, the get in the morning and at night and the mask once or every other week. and in the morning I now only used a regular face wash-my preference is the basic (that is the brand) Bar of soap and my face is still clear!!!! I am in love with this product and recommend it to anyone who has problems with their skin even if they have tried everything under the sun!!!. but if you have any doubts just try it...give it a week or 2 and you will see the difference!

I have adult acne and its really hard to find a happy medium between too much exfoliation which trigger my acne and too little which also triggers it. I use the brush portion with my face wash every night and the exfoliation sponge and crystals 1-2 times per week. The results are great! After the first use there was a noticeable difference in the brightness and glow of my skin. After 1-2months of use the results are continuing. I recently purchased the refill pack. I recommend this to all my friends regardless of their skin type.
