can't live without this stuff. it's perfect and light, but versatile if you want to layer it for a darker effect. no fake and bake look, goes on naturally.

Quick Take: glowing
This bronzer has a decent amount of shimmer which is great and love how it looks natural and glowing on my face. Absolutely a lovely product. I would recommend this product to all my friends and my mother.

Super silky and natural looking on the face. The coverage is very build- able, the powder never makes your face appear muddy. I really love the color on my light beige undertone skin. Very long lasting, lasted pretty long on me, though the color lightens toward the end of the day. The powder is so fine you could even apply it as an all over face powder. It makes a great natural contour tool because the powder looks natural and yet makes a statement. Though the product is expensive, it just appears more luminous and somehow different than other bronzing powders I've used, perhaps I don't have as much experience with bronzing powders as other people. Actually the texture and how it appears on the skin is quite similar to the bronzer offered by Toki Doki.

Great, but pricey...

This is a great bronzing powder. YSL very rarely disappoints me with their products, but they are usually pricey. This bronzer is $50, which I think is a lot to pay for a bronzer no matter how good it is because I’m using other bronzers that are just as good that cost a lot less, therefore I am giving it four stars because of its price. However, performance-wise it is wonderful. It a bit too shimmery to use all over my face, but for highlighting and contouring it works wonders. It goes on silky smooth and requires very little blending. I use bronzers to fake a tan all over my face since I no longer tan outdoors or in tanning beds so the shimmer is too much for that type of use. I can still use it in conjunction with my matte bronzer to give off highlights and contours, but at the price I have other bronzers that do the same job just as well that cost a lot less. If you don’t mind paying $50 for a bronzer, this is a great one to get, but there are a lot of other equally good products out there that cost a lot less, so I returned mine.

Quick Take: beautiful but expensive
I wanted help with a specific eye makeup style and ended up with a makeover instead. The YSL consultant (not at Sephora) chose Yves Saint Laurent 'Terre Saharienne' Bronzing Powder. This is an excellent bronzing powder. While I'm not in the market for a new bronzing powder, I was impressed by the richness of this powder. It's very finely milled, and feels very luxurious to the touch. What I really like about this bronzer is that the glow is more golden illumination than the normal look that usually comes from bronzers. It has a richer radiance than the average bronzer. I have very pale skin, so I was surprised when the consultant mixed both the darker and lighter shades and used it to contour. (There is a also a third shade available, but not as nice as the two at Sephora). While I would have questioned if the lighter shades was going to be too dark, together she created nice contouring for me using both. While these are layerable and blend well, they are so rich that you probably won't need to layer.
Yves Saint Laurent 'Terre Saharienne' Bronzing Powder is expensive at $50. As I stated previously, I don't need another bronzer. However, if you are in the market for a bronzer, and want one of the very best, you might want to consider one of these.
