Quick Take: long wearing, smudgable, dark
I have used the Dior liner before this and found YSL (black eyeliner) to be much more creamier, dark, and smudgable. For reference, I use the black, which I am very happy with.
I have the grey pencil also, which, however, is not as creamy or rich in color as the black.

I am a big fan of YSL faux cils mascara, so I decided to try the eye crayon. I am completely disappointed both at color intensity (I got the brown) as well as its durability and application. The color would fade onto my upper lid in no time and the color would generally not last more than a few hours. It is also way too hard for a pencil and you have to apply it 2-3 times to get some color. I have never had this problem with an eye pencil before.

Great texture but breaks when you sharpen it

Quick Take: smudgable, long wearing
The pencil really is long-lasting, and smudges well for the perfect smoky eye. My only gripe: I have been purchasing this product for years but have only recently noticed that when I sharpen it, the tip breaks off and I am forced to sharpen it repeatedly, which basically wastes half the pencil. Very frustrating.

the girls at the store highly recommended this for a great black eyeliner however i am still not sure how i feel about this product. it’s not very dark when applying on my lid and i feel like i have to retrace this several times it to make it look black. and its not very easy to blend.

not a long lasting pencil, by half the day it was smudged all over my eye. had to buy a new one from another brand. only useful if you wanna used as a shadow not eye liner.

This doesn't smudge easily during the application process, so make sure your line is where you want it to be and as thick/thin as you want it. It last all day, doesn't smear. It's a great color. I would buy again, though I'd like to try other brands as well.

I feel this is a rather spendy eye-pencil and it still doesnt last ong. It only lasts between 2-4 hours. Does not work at all on the water line. Plus, if you are wearing false lashes, its not dark enough. I dont think I'll buy this again. Way too expensive.

I use this eyeliner for my lower lash line. It doesn't smudge and still looked nice and neat at the end of the day. The pencil is soft enough to glide on easily but not so soft that you can't get a good line. Great for everyday makeup.
