Quick Take: soft, glides on easily, requires frequent sharpening
This product goes on very smoothly, but is a little on the soft side. This means sharpening often, so it gets used up a lot faster. I like it, but would like to see it made just a teeny bit harder so it lasts longer.

Great product, faulty packaging

This works exactly as advertised, and it's awesome with lipsticks that may tend to creep, like Lip Tar. That being said, the twist-to-advance more product mechanism was faulty and I opened (with sales assistance) two more boxes before I found one to exchange it for. If you get this, check the advance mechanism. It loses a star only for the packaging snafu

I like this for days when I'm wearing a light color or stain. It has a tendency to tug a bit, and if you press hard enough it can kind of pill on the lips, but I like the way it performs so its worth it.

I have been looking for a colorless lip liner for a long time and this one is great!! I love being able to use this for any color lipstick or gloss. It keeps the color where it should be, on my lips and blends in perfectly. :)

I purchased this for my birthday to keep my red lips from bleeding. On the suggestion of the salesperson I decided to try this. I was pleased and this kept my red lipstick and liner in its place. The only thing I didn't like is that it leaves a little kinda visible line around the lips. That could be me applying too much so I'm not sure. I would probably buy this again but I'm not sure it this would be much different than using concealer around the lips. But for what it was designed for I was satisfied

I switched to gloss a few years ago because I couldn't control the bleed. Lip liners leave a ghastly ring as lipstick wears away and even then didn't stop the bleed. I LOVE this product! I do re-apply at least once during the evening, but when applied just outside the lip-line, it keeps my lipstick in place all night. I'll buy again and again!

This is an ok product if you don't mind going through the pencil quickly. It needs sharpening every couple of uses. I think it is because the consistency of the pencil is too soft.

Quick Take: creamy, long-lasting
I use this whenever I put lipstick on and it works wonderfully. I apply it to the outside of my lip line and I've never had a problem with bleeding or smudged lipstick. While being creamy and easy to apply, it's not overly soft where it runs out quickly or has to be sharpened a lot. I only ever apply it when I first apply lipstick and it seems to last the entire day.
The only thing I wish would be different is that it was more natural/organic.

I have some amazing lipsticks but suffer sometimes of them bleeding even though i use a lip pencil...especially my reds! This pencil is fantastic! It goes on so easily and stops any sort of bleeding or feathering that might occur.
I didn't give it 5 stars though ONLY because i wish it just was a "twist" rather than a "sharpen" pencil.

The product works but is not a value for the money. The point keeps breaking off causing it to be sharpened - too much is wasted. I bought it because Sephora was out of the brand I usually buy. I would never buy again.

This is the key thing to have in your makeup arsenal if you wear lipstick. You will always have the perfect lip pencil to work with when you have this. It never allows for feathering, no matter the color.

The anti feathering really works till you need to sharpen it.
I have just about every sharpener Sephora sells I had to sharpen it after 3 days, great except the waxy portion is wasted in the sharpener and the edges are jagged and tear your lips when you use it, I rarely give an uncomplimentary review but this was a waste of money and took it back. If you could push the product up it would be great and really works not worth tearing you lips apart after the first sharpening. I am sorry to give a good product a low rating because of the packaging..

Quick Take: not worth the money
I was disappointed in this, as I thought it was too creamy to really hold the lipstick on, and you can't actually sharpen it too much or the exposed pencil will just break right off. This actually happened the first time I used it. I will stick with clear pencils that are a thicker, firmer substance - this basically felt like white lip balm in a very thin applicator.
