I still suffer from more breakouts than I care to admit, but this product has helped tremendously. I actually don't wear it as a "day fluid" - my preference is to put it on at night, and then I wear a liquid foundation (UD naked skin) during the day. It dries my skin out a little, but does wonders to stop the blemishes. I wasn't thrilled about the price, but I haven't found anything else that works this well.

Quick Take: moisturizing, banishing my blemishes & scars!, does not leave a film on my skin.
I love how this moisturizer feels on my skin. It is used to smell a bit funny, but I was told they tweaked the formulation to make it smell better. My 2nd bottle smells of refreshing mint & herbal tea. I found it to be quite mattefying and it truly helped to banish my blemishes. To answer Velika's ? of what is up with the packaging: I just read a bit about the brand & it's basically air tight packaging to preserve the product, WITHOUT PARABENs!!! Solution: with the lid on, turn it upside down, smack it on a hard surface & voila the fluid comes right out of the smart little bottle. . . that last FOREVER!. REN calls it burping the bottle, on their website:) & you only have to do this once. Small price to pay for skipping ALL the nasty chemicals including parabens.
Bonus - This moisturizer has Licorice to fade post acne scars.

im 23 and have tried every anti-blemish product under the sun. i have combination skin. this doesnt dry my skin and i saw results the next day. it does have a strange smell but it goes away once dry. i use it with the ren cleanser and night moisturizer.

I have combination skin that gets very oily in the t-zone, and I also wear my makeup for approx 10 hours per day without being able to wash my face and reapply. I wear this product under my makeup and have far less breakouts, more of a smooth skin finish and it feels clean on my skin too. I dont smell anything when using this product, nor does it feel sticky. It really does what it says it does - calm the skin and treat skin prone to breakouts.

This has the most horrific smell I've ever encountered in a skin care product.
The consistency is a nice, less viscous type serum. It leaves a bit of a film. It is slightly drying around the eye area and somewhat sticky even ten minutes after application. Twenty minutes after application the noxious smell remains.
I cannot speak to the long term results of this product as the smell is far to heinous for repeated use.

Quick Take: moisturizing
I like this product...when I can get it out of the bottle! Seriously, how annyoing when you're trying to get ready in the morning and you have to pump a million times just to get a little out. I found if you turn it upside down, it comes out a little easier. I don't think I'll buy again, just due to packaging issues.

Hard to say if I recommend it yet or not because I wasn't using it right for awhile - SHAKE IT hardcore!!!! I did not shake it as much as you should - I have recently and it definitely feels different. Will I see a difference? Time will tell! But I have faith because the cleanser has made a SIGNIFICANT difference!

Quick Take: smells, doesn't absorb well
I normally have very positive reviews for Ren products, but I am not sure about this one.
The smell is quite strong and unexpected. I'm not quite sure why the product has such an unpleasant odour. Also, it did not absorb into the skin well. I did not rub the fluid that much into my skin, but it left white flakes on my skin and started to peel. Its just not one of the best products that Ren offers.

I used the full bottle and was disappointed. It left a chalky film on the skin(so was not appropriate for day use) and just helped to dry blemishes a bit. Overall, did not alleviate my acne issues and was not cheap either!

I love REN products. I have sensitive/difficult skin. My skin is normally pretty good but I do have a tendency to break out once a month. This day fluid did not work well for me though. It wasn't hydrating enough. If you have normal-oily skin I would recommend this though!

I have acne-prone skin that is also very sensitive, meaning that most acne fighting products make my skin very dry. This product, however, is very gentle. I just started using it so I haven't seen a lot of results, yet, but my skin is smoother and I have fewer break outs. One word of caution, the smell is less than fantastic-- not horrible, just not particularly pleasant.

I have tried many products from Sephora and the products from REN are just FANTASTIC!!! The day fluid does smell a little until it dries but it works wonders to clear my maturing skin. I use the night time Clear Clam also with Philosophy's help me and miracle worker and have been asked repeatedly what am I doing as my skin looks so clear. Thank you REN as i bought the sampler first and now bought the full size of these products. I am a fan for life.

I really tried to like this product because it was highly recommended, but it was way too lightweight for my skin and it smelled horrible (although the smell goes away pretty quickly). Would not recommend for those with drier skin.

the clearcalm line has literally saved me - i was one of those typical people buying line after line of "sensitive" anti-acne skin care regimens, every single one either being too mild to combat my acne or too intense for my sensitive skin to handle. this line is the perfect middle - it's organic, so no over-drying with peroxides, but it still works. best ever!!!

Love this stuff. Has a funny smell that goes away quickly. Mattifies my skin, doesn't irritate my skin. I use the cleanser and night serum too so I'm sure those help this work better. I have had acne for 10 years and this stuff is the most calming and non-irritating that I have used ever: prescription and over the counter! Compared with prescription drugs for acne this 3 system is cheaper and easier for me. I highly reccomend that one give this trio of products a good 6 to 8 weeks in order to see major changes. Blemishes do not appear instantaneously, they take time to crop up and they take time to disappear. You will notice purging at about 2 weeks in.

My skin has never looked better. I changed to "clean" / organic skin care products a little over a year ago and many are very oily, which has caused me to have a middle-age breakout. This line has been the best for my skin. The smell of the day fluid (which only lasts a few seconds) is odd and reminds me of the smell of a freshly cut aloe vera leaf (yup - stinky!). It will streak and stay sticky for a while if you don't shake before use and if you use too much (which also contributes to the odd but natural odor lasting longer). I bought the Starter Kit and have already purchased and used up at least one of the other full size products - still using this starter. It only takes a drop in the oily or broken out areas - and it works.
