I am going to preface this review by stating that I never give reviews, good or bad, but the world needs to know how amazing this product is...This product has saved my face. I have been battling hormonal acne on my chin and mild rosacea/acne on the rest of my face FOR YEARS. Finding a product that can zap the acne without aggravating my sensitive red skin and leaving my skin uncomfortably dry seemed like a hopeless mission, but I finally found the one! I bought this along with the hydra calm cleanser, which is also amazing because it smells nice, moisturizes my skin AND removes mascara. I plan on getting more products from this company very soon. I'm in love! I don't have words for how wonderful it is to look in the mirror and see the face I knew before the acne.

A Dose of This Ren Serum a Day

Keeps the acne at bay!
I was breaking out terribly from moving from Cali to Texas and was in desperate need of a solution that didn't burn my face.
Everyone said that the burning is just something I need to get used to but after finding the REN skincare line, I would love to throw all my burning products at those very people.
This serum is wonderful. It hydrates my skin so I don't need to apply anything else after this serum and it keeps my acne away and decreases inflammation overnight!
Yes, it smells funny but it is an all natural product and I can live with that. I love that it delivers what it promises without any bad chemicals which means honest to goodness help for my acne-prone skin! (Hence, no painful burning and redness that follows).
Ren is amazing and I'm so glad I picked up this serum. Just one pump covers my face and then some! This product is definitely worth the price and I'm sure it'll last awhile too.

It's definitely moisturizing and I love the smell, but it also adds an extra layer of grease to my face. Perhaps I'll only use this when my skin's the driest in the winter...

I have combination oily skin so finding a good moisturizer was tough. I really love this one only because after I cleanse with the REN clay cleanser my face feels really oil free and soft. I almost didn't want to moisturize, but this moisturizer keeps that clean feeling. Also my skin remains matte looking, but still feels soft with a healthy glow.

i love this serum! i have acne on my forehead cheeks and chin but i also have dry patches. i use this as a moisturizer at night and sometimes in the morning and it does not dry out my skin at all! it is also non-oily and it perfect for sensitive skin!

I am prone to breakouts, and use several prescription acne creams which tend to dry my face out. This is made worse with the dry air of winter. I got ClearCalm 3 Night Serum a couple days ago, needing a nighttime moisturizer. I have to say, I am seriously impressed. It does exactly what it says it does. It moisturized the &!#% out of my skin, without clogging my pores! It was gentle and soothing on contact (when my skin is dry like this, usually everything I put on feels like it's burning). I woke up, and my face was still moisturized! Usually everything rubs off on the pillow. After my shower, my face was dry again (but not as bad as before), but a lot of the spots where I'd had acne recently self-exfoliated (the scabby parts magically peeled up on their own)! It's crazy, cuz I just had a zit there like 2 days ago and it already looks healed. The skin is still a bit red on the spot (obviously still healing internally) but the outside is now smooth enough where I can put concealer on it and nobody's the wiser.
This stuff is great. I highly recommend it. I wish I could give it 6 stars. It's a freaking miracle cream. I have never before had such instantaneous results.

Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
I use this as a night-time moisturizer. It's very hydrating, even for my dry skin, and doesn't clog my pores. It's not too heavy, it doesn't feel greasy. I don't feel like I've really noticed a difference in terms of it clearing my skin but I don't expect a moisturizer to do that really, I'd look to a serum for that.

Great Night Cream for Acne Treatment

Quick Take: moisturizing, gentle
This is a very nice hydrating cream for those who have issues with blemishes. I usually only have occasional outbreaks, but since using this product (for about 6 months) I can't remember the last time I've had an outbreak. The product goes on smoothly, and has no real smell. I would definitely recommend this product to those who have issues with acne.

The night cream I usually use became really expensive, so I decided to give this one a try. It's really, really great. I have cystic acne and this cream calmed it down (redness went down too). I also have dry, itchy patches around my eyes and this is the only thing that has been able to clear it up. Has a very light, pleasant "fruity" smell and non-greasy feel. I will be buying again-- as long as they don't jack up the price!

I love love love this serum. It is oil free so it works great especially in summer. In the winter I do have to add a heavier night time moisturizer over areas prone to flaking, but I love how quickly this absorbs and how it never ever irritates my sensitive skin. It smells so clean and fresh, I look forward to applying it every evening.

Recently I have experienced an increase in breakouts (due to stress) and my usual skin care routine just couldn't keep everything under control. I have added this and two other products (Kate Somerville Benzoyl Peroxide Lotion and REN ClearCalm3 Mask) and have found the perfect combination of products for clear skin. This is such a life saver. I have a very moisturizing face cream but this really helps give it a nice boost to keep away any flakiness that might occur with acne treatments. I love that a little goes a long way and it is already at a reasonable price point. It feels just wonderful on the skin, it's not too heavy and not too light feeling (where you wonder if it's actually going to do anything). I do believe that it is helping to fade past acne marks which is why I purchased it. It really helps make your skin feel comfortable and I think is a must if your experiencing any dryness with seasonal changes and acne treatment.

My skin had been perfect for the past year. Suddenly i had the WORST breakout on my forehead and those little red bumps under the skin on the sides of my nose.
I bought this and used it and seriously the next day it was 80% gone. I think by tomorrow my skin will be clear.
My skin is also very sensitive and dehydrated and I had no reaction whatsoever to this stuff.
Recommend for sensitive skins!

Quick Take: moisturizing
My skin has always been pretty problematic. When I had acne has a teen, it left pretty bad scarring. However, once I started to take more care of my skin and used a Clarisonic daily, my break-out started to subside, but I was still left with pretty poor scarring. I've tried multiple products (Proactiv, Kiehl's, etc.) to help with the leftover redness and scarring on my face, and nothing seemed to help. Until this miracle product...
I use this every night on a clean face (and I make sure that there is absolutely no make-up left on my skin), and sometimes it leaves it moisturized enough for me to to go to bed and other times I have to put a light moisturizer on top of it... but either way, it works like a dream. I have noticed a significant change in redness and scarring. It isn't something that'll happen overnight (though, I did notice the difference after night one), but if you're patient and use the product consistently over your trouble areas, I'm sure you'll be happy with the results.
I would HIGHLY recommend this product to any of my friends.

When I turned 30, my skin suddenly turned into a 15-year-old and I began to get the occasional break-out. Not the end of the world, I know, but now at 33 years, I pretty much tried everything aside from peeling my skin off!! Then, I found Ren! It takes me to bed every night. It calms my skin, reduces redness and scars and my little annoying bumps have cleared up quickly. The best part is the smell and how my skin is so soft in the morning. Sometimes I wear it during the day too. I love it more than my favorite moisturizer. Shh...don't tell him.

I purchased this product a few weeks ago mainly because the reviews said it would help clear acne scarring. I wanted to try something less expensive than going to a dermatologist first as my scars are not horrible but still visible. I have been using it nightly and have yet to see any results. Will keep my fingers crossed.

I always break out every time my menstrual cycle comes into town, and I absolutely hate it because I feel like nothing ever works during this time! I have products that I can use for the day but I wanted something that would help me fight blemishes during the night and hydrate my skin...
So I went to Sephora asked one of the lovely ladies there of any recommendations on any night creams for REN because I love their line, and upon asking she told me about this product and I was confident because the other REN products I have used have been great for my skin-my skin is night and moisturized without the stripping that I have felt occur with other products.
It has now been 4 nights since I have been using this product and I love it! I had a HUGE blemish on my chin before using this and within three nights, my blemish significantly reduced in size and looks much better now. In addition, I wake up with my skin smoother, clearer and nice and firm!! The oilyness that I have had before when I wake up in the morning is gone, and it helps control oil production throughout the day which is great as well!
I am really happy with this product and I would def recommend it to anyone that wants a great night cream without being too thick, and creamy and does the job !
