Not For Me

I was tempted by this eye cream due to the reviews. Unfortunately, it really didn't do much of anything for me. Used it for 4 weeks. Still had the same dark circles and little lines around the eyes. Too bad. I like the idea of using Jurlique products. Other negatives - the rose smell is a turn off for my husband, and the price is too steep for no results.

Quick Take: refreshing, soothing, creamy
I love the whole Jurlique line, but had never tried the eye cream before now. I've been using it for several weeks now, and I really like the way the skin around my eyes looks and feels. This cream has a wonderful, mild herbal scent to it, and it goes on buttery-smooth. My skin feels moisturized throughout the day, and velvety to the touch! I use this twice a day and will continue to buy it again and again! Like the squeezy tube rather than a pump, too.

One of the best eye creams ever.. well it depends what you need, I needed a vitamin rich, non firming, non anti a gig eye treatment which would just keep all the good stuff that our skin produces and keep it in.. and I found it here.. try one see if it works for you too..

Quick Take: soothing, fast-acting, not heavy soft and creamy.
I have extremely sensitive skin, especially around my eyes. It gets red, itchy and flaky. I have been using this cream for little over a month now. I was skeptical at first but now I'm convinced. It has completely smoothed the eye area. I had no reaction to it. My skin looks and feels better than it ever has!
As mentioned in other reviews you need to be patient with this cream. Use it as directed and give it time. It will work. Granted, it will work differently for everyone. But for someone with extreme sensitive skin it is just simply amazing. The scent is soothing and non irritating. It smells of roses and herbs, to me. Very pleasant and not offensive in the least. I highly recommend this product for dry and sensitive skin around the eyes. I use under as well as around the whole area including the lids and down to the orbital bone. It also allows my concealer and makeup to go on smoother with little or no caking.
All in all a fantastic eye cream. Definitely worth the price. A little goes a very long way.

Quick Take: soothing
This eye cream came well recommended and I really wanted to like it, but i ended up returning it. I wanted this eye cream to relieve dry skin, which I thought it did in the beginning, but over a couple of weeks of using, no long term results. It also smelled nice, but the scent made me sneeze. I would have endured it if it worked, but not for me.

This cream is light and refreshing. It feels good after I've applied it and it eliminates the darker color and puffiness under my eyes. It also eliminates any morning wrinkles at the corner of my eyes. It also has a light and wonderful fragrance. I first tried this as a free sample and loved it enough to buy the product when the sample ran out. This is a product I'll use forever, I love it

I was skeptical as to whether I liked this product at first I wasn't noticing any of the benefits after 2 wks of use. In fact, I noticed the area to either side of my nose, right where the under eye becomes the cheek, was looking slightly congested. : /
I kept using it - mostly because I didn't have anything else but also because I was digging the lightweight texture and feel, which for me made for quick & easy application and fast absorption - but was sure to use WAY less & be more conscious of where I applied it.
Fast forward 2 months and I'm SO glad I stuck with this product!!
I've been using this a.m & p.m for about 2.5 months now and just about 2 wks ago, I noticed my under eye area was looking pretty GD fantastic - super smooth, hydrated & radiant! Whatever was going on down by my cheeks cleared up within days of using less product. A little goes a LONG way here folks so don't over do it! I don't have wrinkles (crows feet) but before I started using this eye cream would have those pesky little dehydration lines under my eyes pretty much all the time. After consistently applying the Herbal Recovery Eye Cream day & night for about 2 months, those lines are no where in sight & the skin under my eyes looks so much better because of it - smooth, bright & just really, really healthy!!
This eye cream gets along fabulously with concealer and actually made mine (The Eraser by Tarte) apply & wear (and subsequently, LOOK!) significantly better. The non-greasy hydration is long lasting and I found it alleviated that "cakey concealer" look that would so often be the result for me after the 2nd or 3rd "touch up". And now, with the improvements to my actual skin, I rarely need to use concealer under my eyes anymore!
Overall, I think this product provides exceptional hydration (w/o being heavy), the effects of which will be more noticeable over time (IME, a solid 2 months) with consistent use.
BE PATIENT! Give it time to work!
Those with drier skin will probably see & feel more "immediate" effects (in addition to the long term) as I did in make up application and wear.
For me, this product delivered superb hydration which in turn positively effected the overall appearance of my skin. If you are looking to combat deeper wrinkles, try an eye cream containing an active (retinol, AHA, etc.) as those types of ingredients have a serious amount of research supporting their effectiveness in the treatment of wrinkles. I don't believe this will do much for, "get rid of" or completely "de-puff" serious under eye puffiness, but if kept in the fridge & applied cold it may improve it temporarily, similar to the way an ice pack helps swelling. If you're looking for a noticeable "instant" de-puffing effect, try Fresh's Lotus Eye Gel. It's not at all hydrating, IMO but I haven't found anything better for combating situational puffiness (well, besides sleep!)
And this eye cream (or any other on the market) certainly won't do anything for true dark circles. Dark circles appear when blood vessels under the eyes become visible due to the thinning of skin in that area. They may also be the result of sagging skin under the eye (bags) & puffiness, the combination of which casts a shadow beneath the eyes. Topical creams can't do much to fix either of these situations.

Very lightweight "pick-me-up"

Product is as described, I recieved 2 deluxe samples. The first one is a bit over half way used up after over a month & I apply it throughout the day to moisturize around my eyes! The texture is almost liquidy so a little goes a LONG WAY! I can see how some would not like how long it takes to absorb fully or feel dried down but I'm only using it since I can apply it throughout the day, not wearing makeup, attempting to keep my skin around my eyes nice during Winter plus I want to actually use up these nice samples they give us & the product is "natural" enough so that makes me happy:) If I were to use this alone as my only eye creme or at night I'd need something heavier & I've used Peter Thomas Roth for months & months now but that creme tends to clump my concealer. I'm on a search to find a creme that delivers results but also plays nice w my concealer. This may be it. After using it for so long & also testing a Dior Hydra Eye Creme for several weeks, it has come down to those two. In general I think this creame is a nice product, especially if you use makeup sparingly because its wonderful to be able to reapply several Times throughout the day because the texture is very light & really does not require any massaging, patting, etc. since it is nearly a liquid. The scent/herbs do not bother me & I wear contacts daily. I hope this helped.

I love this eye cream. It feels good going on and my eyes feel better afterwards. Perhaps this is decadent, but I also use it to touch up and remove mascara using a cotton swab and it works wonderfully. The first sample tube lasted months so I anticipate that the full size will easily get me through most of the year.

I ordered a deluxe sample of this after receiving its code in my Beauty Insider e-mail; I was pumped for a larger-than-normal trial for an eye cream that was natural and that promised to control all the bad stuff in the eye area.
I've been using this product consistently for over two months now, and I can't say that I've seen dramatic or even worthwhile results. The cream does not do anything for dark circles (mine are hereditary, so if yours are too, beware because this product will NOT help).
On the positive side, the packaging for this product is brilliant. Why aren't more eye creams (and skincare products for that matter) put in metal-like tubes? The natural coolness of the tube keeps the product itself very soothing! I think this is why the cream felt so good going on to my lids. If you want a refreshing cream, this is a great option due to the smart, cooling tube! Finally, I did notice that my eye area ended up looking more soft and generally less puffy after consistent use.
If you want a natural product that refreshes/cools, moisturizes, and overall "calms" the eye area, this is a great choice. Just don't expect it to do anything for dark circles or to cause automatic decreases in dryness and puffiness.

This product is midly luminescent to decrease under eye circles and has a very smooth, thin texture. I don't find it especially amazing at de-puffing, but I do like that it's moisturizing without being too thick. I use primer all over (and underneath my eyes) before concealer and foundation and I haven't noticed it interfere with makeup at all. I also like the smell and how plant-based the product is.
I'm still on my search for the perfect eye creme, but this will have to do in the meantime (along with two others I use).

This is a good eye creme. It moisturises, soothes a little & doesn't interact poorly with makeup. However, it is very strongly scented for an eye product & the texture is ultra-watery... not something I ever look for in an eye creme. It takes a while for it to dry & it's too runny for my liking. I would imagine that this consistency would suit some very nicely though. A huge plus is that it did not (despite the strong, though pleasant, scent) irritate my very very sensitive eyes.
