Quick Take: brightening, effective
This mask is amazing. My skin looked and felt so much better/brighter after using this product.
Pros:
-It's easy to use.
-The results are phenomenal. My skin was clearer and much brighter after just one use.

-I made sure not to get the product too close to my eyes but the still got irritated and felt stingy.
-The product needs to be applied in an even thick layer, otherwise you have left over residue that's a pain to get off.

This mask feels great, and really helps to brighten my skin. I've had many comments after using it like, "You look happy today!" and "Look at that bright face!" As a man who doesn't use makeup, but treats his skin well, I am fully satisfied with the way this product positively affects my perceived age and skin brightness. The only complaint I have is probably apparent...there isn't much in the bottle. I can usually only get three...maybe four if I stretch it...masks out of a single tube. Otherwise, it's a great product.

Quick Take: fun to use
I originally purchased this mask for myself, I have small blackheads that I wanted to get rid of. Used weekly on a regular basis and definitely saw a difference--some pores became smaller and less blackheads. I have an adult son and husband whom both use on their noses only! They love it, but I am sworn to secrecy!! Used with the Boscia cleanser and my Clarisonic, the results are even better. I must say, you have to use a lot of it in order to be able to pull it off after 25 minutes. Also, when I first put it on, my eyes tend to water (almost like an onion makes your eyes water...but not as bad). I have purchased two of these in the past three months. Will continue to use. I also purchased the white Boscia mask, but haven't had time to try it yet.

I've been trying to find a good peel off masque and I this by far is the best quality mask I have tried. I love the refreshing tingling feeling when the mask is put on. When the mask is peel off, my face feels fresh and clean! Love this mask! Totally worth the money spent, thank you Boscia!

It feels WEIRD to peel this off, but I like what it did. Blackheads are smaller, and I'm hoping that with more use (only used once) I'll see some brightening too.

This product left my skin dry and with red patches all over my face. I did the allergy test the day before and nothing. It took me a week to get my skin back to shape with the help of other Sephora products that I love. Im not sure WHY the sales associate recommended this to someone with sensitive skin. I felt like I was ripping my face off. VERY DISSATISFIED. If I could return it, I would.

I will admit I use this less often now that I am home. But when I was deployed, I used it before every port call. I'd rub it on and then climb in my rack and sleep til they called liberty and then peel it off. I will say after several deployments, this made a difference. My makeup I didn't wear daily went on better after weeks of just moisturizer and sunscreen. And it got all the jet exhaust and other contaminants out of my pores, so I wasn't taking my work out with me. When I got home I used it regularly til my bottle got empty. My husband loves that ti peels off and so let me apply it to his skin just for that. I guess he likes what it does to his skin, he keeps nagging me to get another bottle... Because my work environment is less toxic, I don't have the urge to purge my pores as often. It always amazes me how much junk our pores collect. This is good at getting it out and making your face feel cleaner.

Quick Take: mediocre, overpriced, overhyped
I really have nothing good to say about this mask, other than that it's fun to peel off (when it's not ripping out the little hairs on my face!). I've been using it for about a month and have seen no difference in the texture of my skin, oiliness, nor blackheads (which is why I bought it initially). This product has like a "cult following" for people with a specific skintype...don't ask me which one, but it definitely doesn't work on me and I have oily skin with little to no acne, just big pores and blackheads. Definitely will never buy this product again.

I am not really a fan of this mask. I have other Boscia products from the black line that I absolutely cannot live without but for some reason, I just do not like the mask.
I guess I am not really a mask person and that is why I do not like it....Plus, I also use Sephora's silicone pore scrubber so my skin is always exfoliated lightly so the mask really doesnt help me much. My skin feels clean & soft afterward but I dont really visibly see how it is helping my skin since I have other things that leave me with clean & baby soft skin without the peeling hassle....
My Best friend though loves this mask and swears by it but it isnt as great for me unfortunately =/

I received a sample of this mask and immediately purchased the full size that week. It is SO good for removing dead cells and unclogging pores. It also brightens and evens my complexion, and leaves my skin very soft after using. I use it 1 or 2 times per week. I also use it immediately in the morning if I fall asleep with my makeup on to extract everything from my pores. Highly recommend!

I tried this product because I am having some blackhead issues which I've never had a problem with before (guess it's another hormonal change). :) A wonderful product and it works well even on those little hairs-- and main hairs if you are not careful! If you leave it on for at least the full 30mins it should peel off fairly easy. If you do not wait...its a process to peel it off. I find it works best if you peel instead of wiping off w/ damp cloth. Guess I should tell you, it's like pulling a bandaid off of some areas! This is a tar-like consistency; for that reason I wish the bottle came in a larger size because you can use a lot on your face (to make sure it "peels" off easily).

Quick Take: fun, effective, gentle
I got this on an impulse when my sister was visiting and I thought we could do home facials. We didn't use it together but when I did use it I liked it! I have very sensitive skin and rosacea so I was cautious with the mask. My skin felt like velvet and had no adverse reaction. My only problem is that I think I put it on too thinly or let it dry too long and I had a little trouble "peeling" the mask off. No need for caution here....layer it on!

I absolutely love this mask! It makes my face feel really smooth and does an excellent job of clearing clearing clogged pores. My skin is a little sensitive and I haven't had any breakouts as a result of using this product. I highly recommend!

Works ok for me. But my mother loves this stuff. But not for the reasons listed in the discription. She uses it for her mustache. It just rips off all the little hairs. She actually finshed the whole thing and now I have to get a new one. Sigh. Ps. Sorry mommy

It does what it says, I love it. My black heads are almost gone, and I've never had any at a younger age. I noticed a development of them at the tip of my nose and thought I'd give this a try as other masks didn't work for me. The only down side is the size and price. The instructions tells you to use twice a week and to apply on thick...my husband and I both uses it. It's almost gone =(

They are not kidding when they say this mask is black! Put it on thick and it peels off nicely after drying.
My eyes get a little irritated from the smell when I first start applying it, and some areas are painful to peel off, but I still love this mask! Do not get it in your hairline or eye brows!!
I can tell a dramatic difference with this mask, especially the next morning when my skin looks bright and clear. When I first used it I literally saw where it cleared out my pores. It made me break out, but in a good getting gunk out kinda way, and the more I use it the less I break out! All around takes some adjusting to get use to, but it's an incredible product!

I have used two tubes of the mask. It is MESSY! But if you don't mind dealing with black gunk on your hands, and using a washcloth to completely get the product off your face...I think you will enjoy the results of this product.

This is my 3rd bottle of Boscia's luminizing black mask. My current bottle is a little old, so it doesn't do the nifty peel-off even after completely dry, but it washes off fairly easily with a washcloth, and it visibly improves my skin's texture. Def. recommended for oily complexions and those of us with larger pores.
