I had forgotten about this little beauty for a while and it just made it back into my regular rotation - can't figure out when/why I stopped using it. I love this product, it brightens without being in-your-face shimmery.

Quick Take: smudgable
I like it, it is a good brightener. It can look slightly cakey (especially the highlighter) and I usually end up using the rim liner for both that and as a highlighter. Also, it doesn't stay very well particularly if you're more oily. Other than those things, buy it!

WHen I first used this, it was ok forhighlighting small areas. But when I went to sharpen it, it kept breaking and never sharpened to the original point it had. I returned this product.

I have a similiar product from Tarte that I discovered a while back that I love. I have only used this product on my lower eye lid so I can look more awake. At first, I thought having a white-ish stripe on my lower lid would look weird, but in fact it makes my eyes look wide awake and bright. As for whether I like Smashbox's over Tarte's I can't really say, but I love the concept. As for what the other side is supposed to do, I am not really sure and from what I can gather, it's not something I would do anyway. I will just end up using both ends on my lower eye lids.

I ended up returning this. It just kind of seemed like a waste of money. It wasn't pigmented, it didn't brighten, didn't conceal dark circles, and was disappointing overall.

Quick Take: smudgable
I love this product in the corners of my eyes and on my cupid's bow. It's subtle but I think makes me look bright and awake. Blends in easily. I don't really see a difference in color between the two ends so I use them interchangeably. Haven't had to sharpen it yet though...might be hard finding a sharpener that will fit.

I've tried Buxom Insider eyeliner in pearl (awful) & Benefit Eyebright (meh & TOO PINK), so I was ready to be disappointed again.Didn't happen! I LOVE this! It's exactly what I was looking for! Don't waste your money trying out other inner rim "brighteners" Do yourself a favor & BUY THIS! :)

This item is easy to use. It goes on smoothly and does the job effectively. I have mainly used it in the corners of my eyes near my nose and have been very pleased with the instant, but subtle brightness I get. I did use the liner for the inner lower lids of my eyes and it also went on smoothly.

I love this! I used the brightener end on my dark circles before adding concealer and it gives me a bright natural look. I love using it to highlight under my brow and inner corners of my eyes. very quick and easy.

I was looking for something to brighten up my eyes and to help with the redness and the Smashbox Eye Beam Double Ended Brightner does it! The chubby end highlights in the corner of my eye and the sleeker end is great for my lower eyelid rim...really takes the red out & makes me look more awake. Love it!!

In theory, it's a fun product. Upon application it's not all it's cracked up to be...gathers in corners of eye and is kind of gross and as I am 46 with newly crepey lids, it highlights the crepe...not pretty on me.
Best for young eyes that ironically don't really need this product.

Really pleased I got this. I had done some research and wanted to try a highlighter. This does indeed brighten my eyes and make them look less tired. Its easy to apply and not too sparkly which is essential for me. I do need to reapply before going out for the evening.

I got this on the suggestion of an associate at the store. I was going to purchase the tarte inner rim brightener, but was sold on this one since it also came with a highlighter.
It goes on smooth and creamy, and the highlight side blends nicely. It really makes my tired eyes look much more awake and brighter. I would definitely recommend this.

Bascially I'm a make-up addict and this was just a fun purchase. I really only use the fat side for the inside corner of my eye. Just use a little, you don't notice right away how much you have one. If you watch the palette for hazle eyes video she uses this pencil and it works just like it did on the video. Probably not necessary to purchase but a lot of fun to have.
