Long-lasting and great control

I have been using Smashbox's liquid eyeliner pens for years. The pen design allows for better control that the wand design of other brands. These liners are also very durable. I can keep the liner on all day/night and even in a pool and it will not smudge at all!

I purchased this eyeliner because I loved the idea of the pen style applicator. It does make applying the liner relatively easy, but I HATE the fact that you cannot go over the same spot twice without it rubbing off what was previously applied. In other words, you'd better apply it correctly the first time, in one single swipe. If you try to go over it again, it will rub off what was previously put on and leave these patchy, flaky-looking spots. It also tends to flake off by the end of the day anyway. A beautiful, inky, and jet black liquid liner...if you have the ability to apply it like a pro...and only need to wear it for a short period of time.

dark brown under eyes + jet black for the top lid = amazingly awesome...this is the only liquid liner pen that works for me and is very easy to use. also love how it lasts me all day and night.

I have never used liquid eyeliner before! Always a pencil girl! But this is easy to use and dries quickly so you can apply your eye makeup! You can make it as thin or thick as you like, too! Amazing!!

It's super easy to apply! Don't need to be a proffessional to get a perfect eyeliner look. But becareful, don't mess up cuz it's pretty hard to wipe off. Great eyeliner! Oh it's easy to play with the thickness

The liner is okay but migrates underneath your eyes by mid-day. I would expect to pay like $5 bucks for it. Nearly all of the price is coming from the brand name. I think a cheap NYC liner would do the same job. I'm all for paying top dollar for makeup when it's an awesome product but this was ho hum so I returned it.

I expected more of this one. It often went on very faintly, and when I tried to draw the liner over top a second time (whether it was wet or dry) it would just take whatever was underneath right off. Also, the tip became dull very quickly; bits of it started balling up on the end of the pen.
