Quick Take: good for oily skin, good for acne scars
I do like this product a lot. Since i have oily skin that has a lot of imperfections (deep acne scars), i recommend someone who has the same thing use this. Most people from the reviews i saw, probably weren't using the product the right way. This is supposed to be put on after you wash your face and before you start your makeup! I like it and will be using it in the future.

Disappointment
-10.26.11
As another poster wrote, this did absolutely nothing for my pores and did not mattify the T-zone. Considering it does not perform as promised, it is way too expensive for such a ridculously small tube. I have been having much better luck with a toner from Perricone for controllling oil in the T-zone.

Disapointed

I did give this a second star because it does mattify some, but other, cheaper products also do that just fine. I can't find any difference in my pore size w/ or w/o this. Also, it tends to roll up into little white balls when I trry to apply it. I have that problem with a lot of these silicone-based products.

It works ok. Nothing major. I was expecting a whole lot more than what it is though...

Pore Smoothing Corrector
-03.28.11
I bought this because of the 5 star reviews. Unfortunately, I did not like this product at all and barely can give it 2 stars. It did absolutely nothing for my pores or shiney T-zone. I have tried everything out there and DR. Brandt is the best for me so far. It was very expensive considering the small size tube too. Very disappointed.

ok, but

The product itself works great, but there's not much in the tube. When I first opened it I thought it may be a used container because there's not much product in it. I don't know if that's how it's supposed to be, but if it is it's not worth the price.

Quick Take: a most have!
I have oily skin. I fight it all of the time but sense I've started using this product my makeup goes on evenly and it seems to help with the oil.

Best Overall
-11.12.10
Because of the price I may have not left five stars. I find nonetheless, between saving for special occasions and adding with other lines, this a superior product. My skin is ravaged with scarring from earlier acne, some of which are the icepick variety. This product leaves a velvety smooth finish, which used with a carefully placed good foundation allows me a chance to get close to 'translucent.' I use this exclusively on parts which appear most pitted, then to economize, I'll switch to another primer for the forehead and elsewhere into the jawline. I'm 59. This product works for me.

Best Primer ever

Quick Take: oil control, smooth
I've only used it for few days, but I've seen dramatic changes. I have extremely oily skin and my make up never last longer than few hours. However, with this product my face stays matte from 6 till 2. And that's a miracle with my oily skin. And, you don't need much but your T-zone area.

Not inexpensive.....a must for special occasion/s
-09.11.10
Used first and let dry, this gives my staple primer a much welcome boost in diminishing look of pores. Not inexpensive, therefore no daily use for me (that said, it doesn't take much; on that point it's not a bad value). Doesn't compete with foundation color. Suitable IMO for all complexion shades. Helps control oil and shine. A-plus!

Quick Take: mattifies, reduces visibility of enlarged pores
I had to give this a try because I have very oily skin, which increases my pore size especially on my nose and across the T-zone area. I have only been using it across my T-zone, which is where I’m the oiliest and my pores are enlarged and this does give my skin a matte finish. It also helps to reduce the visibility of my pores. I rub it in a circular motion so that it “fills up” my pores and makes them less noticeable once I’ve put my foundation overtop of it. It helps to control my oiliness and keeps my pores less visible for hours. Even after I’ve used an oil-blotting sheet, the formula stays in my pores and keeps them hidden. This doesn’t take the place of my foundation primer, but it does work. I put it on before applying my foundation primer and foundation and so far I’ve been very pleased with the results. The only downside is that it’s one added step to my makeup routine in the mornings, but it doesn’t take that long to apply so I plan to keep using it.
