I have tried many lip treatments and balms but this one is the best! I love the fragrance that smells like green apple! I have chapped lips often and when I apply this at bedtime I wake very soft moisturized lips. It has a great texture- not waxy or sticky. Highly recommend!

The lip treatment is ok, I feel like I'm constantly applying it which defeats the purpose of a "hydrating lip treatment". I really dislike the packaging. Cheap little plastic pot with a ridiculous genie-esque top... such a waste on packaging. Smells nice, but will not buy again.

Best Lip Balm in A Pot

I generally don't like anything that requires dipping a finger into a pot because of the risk of contaminating the product with bacteria, but the smell of this balm is positively gorgeous! Plus, it feels wonderfully silky on the lips, not tacky or sticky at all, & I feel wonderful knowing all of the dangerous chemicals it does NOT contain! It is my go to balm at the moment and whenever I apply it, girls ask me where they can buy it, I'm sure because of the pretty scent.

I got this with the JM 500 pt sampler set and I love it. It gives off a little shine, smells delicious and really improves the feeling of my lips. I don't have to frequently reapply, which means I'm not going through it super fast.

This is probably the only Josie product that I haven't loved. It is okay for lips, but my lips ended up feeling dry shortly after use. It is nice and smooth to put on and not thick at all, but just didn't have lasting benefits for me. I much prefer the Argan Balm for my lips.

I really wanted to like this lip treatment but I feel there are better less expensive alternatives.

1. Once you put it on your lips it has a funny taste, not good
2. Made my lips feel greasy, felt like a cheaper product
3. Skip this one completely if you have long finger nails
4. Comes out a little clumpy

It's safe to say I am addicted to this product, if not ALL Josie Maran products! I apply often and my lips never get dry anymore. The balm smells great, the packaging is adorable and I think my husband might be stealing some of it when I'm not looking!

i really enjoy this lip blame, i use it morning and night as it instantly makes my lips softer and more luscious. can be compared to the dior rose lip balm but 10X better. a lithe bit goes a long long way so i imagine this lasting 6 months.

I wanted to give this product a chance so I tried it various way over 2 weeks. I tried slathering it on and I tried only a light layer. It made my lips even drier as the day went on. Don't waste your money on this.

I bought this because of the cute container and because I read it was supposed to be amazing and moisturizing.
I used it before bed the first night, and while it does have a nice scent to it, I didn't feel like it was any more moisturizing than my other products. However, when I woke up the next morning my lips tasted AWFUL. I wore the lip gloss all day that day and I noticed that after it sat on my lips it left this weird film and aftertaste that wouldn't go away. I tried it a few more times but it kept happening.
I could only assume that this was the argan oil that tasted so bad.
I stopped using this on my lips, but since it was so expensive, I used it on my cuticles before bed instead. Seemed to work fine there. I will NOT repurchase, even though the tub is very cute.
