Quick Take: defining, lengthening
this is an average mascara. it lengthens, but does not make lashes thicker. I also had it smear by the end of day.

Quick Take: easy to apply formula and brush shape
The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I have this mythic vision of the absolutely perfect mascara, which may not even exist. This Laura Mercier mascara does smudge a little by the end of the day. On the positive side, though, it does give both volume and length while being easy to apply. The brush is a good length and width for someone like me who does not like the big fat brushes that come with some other mascaras. Unlike those brushes, this one lets me get right to the base of lashes, which I think is essential for maximum impact.

This mascara I buy not only for myself but my daughter.It goes onto your lashes so smooth.No clumps,no pulling.Also does not go on real thick.Somehow they managed to make this mascara look as if it's natural and yet still lengthens,curls and gives volume!Definitely one of my favorite items at Sephora!

I LOVE all Laura Mercier's products but I think the brand is better with face products. The mascara clumps my eyelashes together and doesn't really give me the length and curl that I love.

I used the full blown volume lash before in a lash stash kit...a few years ago & loved it! Bought the full size recently and was so disappointed, not at all like I remember. :( I didn't get the lengthening or volume like I had remembered.

Quick Take: the all-around winner!
I have been an avid user of Fiberwig mascara since it came out. I love that it never smudges and doesn't break my lashes.. however, now I am an avid user of Laura Mercier's mascara. It magically hits every lash and volumizes them. I have short, blonde lashes and this mascara does the trick :) It also doesn't smudge (until I'm washing it off), and comes off easily with soap and water.

I love this mascara it is very light weight, doesn't clump, makes my lashes look longer and thickens the hair evenly. I highly recommend this product and believe it is my new favorite.

This by far is my favorite mascara! My eye lashes are long, clump free and separated. I have noticed an increase in compliments on my eyes and have even been asked if I have have eye lash extensions.

This mascara is very nice for someone who wants a natural, not ever the top, amount of volume. Even after 3 coats it won't get too dramatic. I'm unfortunately someone who wants bat wings for lashes, so this left me wanting more. It was a nice, smooth and creamy formula. The brush is a nice size, not too big or small. I recommend it for those looking for a natural look. You won't be disappointed!

I have a hate love relationship with this mascara. It separates my lashes really well and give me a good length which is most important for me! What I don't like about it is that it usually don't last for the whole day, it kind of disappear after a while and the lashes doesn't look as amazing as they did when you first applied it. It works better if you use a second layer though.. One big plus is that it's very easy to take off!

I have such trouble finding the right mascara - I have shorter, light fine lashes - it does not create itchiness like some mascaras do. It lengthens and thickens without clumping. It lasts andis easily removed. Natural - pretty - realistic look without faking it... Love.

I have long thin lashes and even though this doesn't give me a lot of thickness, it's still one of my fave mascaras! The rich and creamy formula glides right one coating the lashes thoroughly and separating them. I get a bit of volume, and my lashes look great. 1 coat for dewy natural day look and 2 or 3 for rich night out with lush lashes!!! Love this product.

This is the very best mascara. It does not itch my eyes like some mascaras do. It lengthens and thickens without clumping. It lasts and lasts yet is easily removed. Just love it. I have tried them all, too. This is by far the best one. Now, if you are looking for a fake eyelash look, this is not it. This is much prettier.

But I have stick straight lashes, warmed up the eyelash curler, curled my lashes, brushed the mascara on and the lashes slowly straightened back to the way they were before using the eyelash curler. So frustrating. I have spent roughly over $200 in mascaras. I don't want to judge too harsh, I'm sure if you have naturally curled eyelashes this might be the product for you.

I found this mascara to be just okay. I had to figure out how to make this work for me as it does not work well just on its own. By itself, this mascara is extremely clumpy without providing any length or definition to the lashes. I just end up with short clumpy lashes.
However, I did get this to work when used with a lash primer or used over another lengthening/defining mascara. When used with another product, this mascara gives nice volume to the lashes without any flaking. It really does give a sophisticated look.
I like this mascara when I get it to work. I just wish I didn't have to work so hard to get a good look from this.

This macara was only ok mostly because it doesn't provide any curl. Just a bit of length. Although I did enjoy the way it doesnt flake and you can apply several coats.
