I bought this powder for an outing in Niagara Falls!! It was exactly what I wanted, very bright and a great color. It also stayed on the entire night and all my friends wanted to wear it!

These metal powders are fantastic. I absolutely love gold eyeshadows and these are the best! Super pigmented and so soft. They blend really easily and are super shiny and metallic even applied dry. I also had very little fallout, which surprised me for a loose powder. Great product!

Love this shadow! It's super pigmented and has a true metallic sheen. It's shiny rather than glittery, and goes on nice and thick so there's no need to layer and layer to get that fabulous metallic look. I've worn it alone for a pop of color, used it as a highlighter, and layered it over other shadows. It doesn't cake or migrate and it lasts all night. Well worth the asking price!

I cannot say enough good things about this eyeshadow. I have been wearing makeup since I was a teenager (I'm twenty seven now) but only very recently got "into" makeup beyond the basic foundation, eyeliner, and mascara. Once I really got into beauty products I found myself on a mission to get the perfect gold eyeshadow. I did a Google search for gold shadows and an article came up about the Hunger Games movie, and this was used for one of the main characters, Cinna, for his signature gold eyeliner and in the photos it looked gorgeous.
I found myself at Sephora a few days later, tried the tester pot that was available, and fell in love. I own several different gold shadows (it is my favorite color range) from several companies but this is by far the truest gold out there.
There are only four colors in the Metal Powder line. This one is a true gold, loose pigment. A tiny, tiny bit goes a long, long way. It is very bright and looks like gold leaf when you put it on. I also love to use this as an eyeliner as well with a wet liner brush, or accent the corners of my eyes or waterline with it. I don't notice a lot of fall out with this product, even if it is a loose pigment, but I try not to overload my brush because of how concentrated it is. Staying power and vibrancy isn't an issue. Twelve hours in Atlanta summer heat and it looks just as bright (and right where I put it) as it did when I first put it on - even if the rest of my makeup might have had other ideas.
The packaging is just like other MUFE loose pigments. It's a small plastic jar that has a plastic sifter insert to keep too much product from coming out at once. The pot holds 2.8 grams and each one is $23 US plus tax. Very expensive for one eyeshadow, but as I said a tiny bit goes a long way (I can't see myself running out any time soon) and if you are looking for a true gold that stays gold, it doesn't get any better than this. I hope that the metal powders line expands beyond the four colors they already have as they are fantastic products and would love to have more!

I love this powder. (I have it in Sunflower Gold 1) It is very fine, so it goes on smoothly. It creates a beautiful golden shine. I definitely recommend it if you don't mind that it's not subtle at all :-)

I noticed this beautiful gold on the lids of Cinna from The Hunger Games. I got the name of the product from a mention in a magazine by the makeup artist who put it on his lids. It doesn't flake and stays put all day. I get compliments every time I wear it. Especially from children! Ha ha.

I love this color. I can apply it dry, for a golden shimmer, or apply it with a wet brush to make the gold really stand out. I get a lot of compliments wearing this as eyeshadow.

Colors darker than u think

Really wanted 2 like these. Love bright colors but these were darker than what they look. & while applying, the loose powder 4mula sprinkled all under my eyes on2 my cheeks. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because of staying power.

I love these pigmented golds! I have them in 1, 2 & 3. If you're looking for intense, pigmented, bold colors... this is definitely for you! A bit pricey, but well worth it!

These metal powders are great for adding that extra sparkle and make your eyes pop, no matter how you use them. They are a tad messy, that's the only reason i didn't give 5 stars....but overall i love it. I bought the Honey Gold 3 and it is like pure gold!

I purchase online Sunflower Gold which is supposed to be yellow gold shimmer.The color is olive gold. Not happy with the color at all, but I can't argue the quality of the product

This is the second color I've bought from MakeUp Forever's eyeshadows and let me tell you, this is an absolutely amazing color!! it is super shiny, it stands out VERY much! It looks like TRUE gold on your eyelids, I cant express its beauty. I highly recommend this!!

Really finely milled, this powder goes on almost like a cream, not like a glitter. It covers your skin completely and has a full metallic sheen. I got the olive color, but it matched something that I already had at home, so I returned it. The product was great, though.

I have been looking for the perfect gold pigment/eyeshadow and I'm so happy that I finally found it! The metal powder is extremely pigmented, blends easily and stays on forever. I had it on for 9 hours and it still looked as if I had just applied it. I recommend this to everyone!
