Sticky and overpowering taste

I don't think these glosses are very good. Quite sticky and thick, with an overpowering smell and taste. Too much for me. Perhaps a pre-teen would enjoy.

These are great flavors and have a nice shine. I got mine on clearance so the price was good. I would not have paid $18 for these although the regular price for lip gloss is $10 a piece.

Quick Take: good value
I got this duo since Crispy Marshmallow Bars doesn't come by itself. I love that lipgloss as it smells and tastes just like rice krispie treats! I also love that it's sheer so you can layer it over another lipgloss or lipstick. The Caramel Apple lipgloss wasn't my favorite though. Kinda smelled like the real thing but I didn't care for it so I gave it as a Christmas gift. Overall great but wish I didn't have to get both to get the one I really wanted.

Quick Take: smells delicious
I wouldn't say that this is a good value (which Sephora tells me is a recommended description), because Sephora is now selling Carmel Apple for $7 so that means overall you are paying $11 for Melting Marshallow Bars to get it now in the set, which I find troublesome. That aside, MMB has an AMAZING flavour and smell, and I, like many other reviewers, bought the set just to acquire it. I prefer how Caramel Apple looks on my olive/deep-ish skin tone, however, I think that the slight shimmer in MMB can make my lips look pale by itself, and I don't wear lipstick so I haven't tried it over that. However the packaging is adorable and the glosses smell amazing and I don't find stickiness an issue. I'm really excited to try more things from Philosophy's gloss line, but I know I'll be getting them for smell and not for any deposition of colour.

Thick, glossy and long lasting. I have GIANT sweet tooth, and these is just what I need! :) I love philosophy gloss! They are always tasty, long lasting and think, just what I look for in a gloss!

Totally addicted to philosophy's lipshines, both of these smell & look great, & they're not those gummy, sticky lipglosses that just sit on the surface & suck the moisture right out of your lips - these soak in & keep them soft but remain visible. Awesome!!

I haven't bought Philiosophy lip glosses before, so I didn't know what to expect. The marshmallow one smells delish, but it's almost more of a caramelized sugar smell (which I do like), whereas the shower gel REALLY smells like rice krispie treats. The caramel apple one smells mostly like Washington (red) apple to me. I can't really detect any caramel, whereas with the shower gel, you can. Also, both glosses felt a bit stickier than I would like, and the apple one in particular I think would be nice with a hint more color. Its dark shade made me think it would look redder on. Of course with the marshmallow, I didn't expect any color and that's what you get.

I got this for myself and my 17 year old daughter. She got the marshmallow one and I got the caramel apple. She loves hers and I love mine. They smell and taste yummy! Will get more soon!

I love the Crispy Marshmallow Bars one- I bought the set because I couldn't get that one alone. Lovely smell and taste, and good quality clear gloss. I like the color of the Caramel Apple a lot, but in general not a fan of imitation apple smells/tastes. Other than that, excellent product, wish Crispy Marshmallow Bars was a year-round treat!

These Philosophy glosses are always my faves! The shine and colors are very flattering. Sheer but with a nice subtle amount of color. I like how the Marshmallow Bark gloss is a warm light golden color. These last longer than a lot of other glosses yet they are not goopy feeling. The flavors are delicious and I don't know how Philosophy does it! Fresh and realistic scents with out smelling/tasting artificial. This is a good deal too at $18 you save $2 buying them together like this.

I recently purchased this for my birthday, and figured the caramel apple would be good for fall. I have ordered many of these glosses and I love all of them. They taste and smell so good. I wish they would bring the coffee shop trio back. The joy of the holidays set last year had four great glosses. The peppermint bark from that, and the caramel apple actually do add a little color. These are really good for when you want something sweet. I only use my philo glosses when I go out since they are pricey, but they are soooo worth it!

Quick Take: good value, cute set to give as a gift!
I orginally bought this set because I couldn't stop smelling the "crispy marshmallow bar" lip gloss and it didn't come by itself. The caramel apple proved to be a real treat as well though and gives an amazing amount of shine with a gorgeous hint of color. At first I thought the apple smell was a little plasticy but I've grown to like it. These are now my go-to glosses and I can't stop reapplying!
