Radiant Finish but Needs More Coverage

Quick Take: buildable coverage, oil-free, up to medium coverage, spf 20, pump, blends evenly
I'm a fan of medium to full coverage foundations that finish with a velvet/matt appearance. But as for this foundation, it finishes with a satin look which creates that dewy outer glow and makes the foundation more natural. So, if you are one of the consumers that would go for a natural and radiant finish, this foundation would be perfect. Unfortunate to say, it does not provide long-lasting coverage and would need touch up throughout the day. As from my personal experience, after wearing this foundation for about 4 - 5 hours, it began to create patches on my skin especially around my T-zone. So, I conclude that this foundation would be best on people that rarely excrete oil or sweat but have moisturized skin at the same time. Also, the version of foundation I have is more to the yellow side because I purchased it in Asia and the lady decided that it would give my pinkish skin a cooler tone.

I have very fair skin and do not like heavy full coverage. This foundation was a great pick: it's light, almost weightless, doesn't clog pores and is long-lasting.

I am 24, with sensitive skin that breaks out quite often due to hormonal change, stress and lack of sleep.
I have tried many foundations, both drugstore and high-end. This one is by far my favorite !!! It is light-weight, non-sticky, and natural looking !!! I think it is perfect for summer !!! I love the packaging as well, solid and good quality. The pump is good for keeping it sanitary as well. The scent is quite elegant not overpowering at all. It does not linger on your face. Once you applied the foundation, the scent will go away in like 10 seconds (roughly, lol).
In summary, I highly recommend this foundation to someone who is looking for a light-weight, natural looking foundation with medium coverage (it is light and it allows your skin to breathe but it does not sacrifice the coverage! you can totally build it up for more coverage !) !!!

Quick Take: long wearing
I have been using this foundation for over 6 months, and absolutely love it.
I have acne prone skin and have had no problems with this product, in fact I can't remember when was my last breakout(a huge a achievement :))
I use YSL top secrets primer under this foundation, if you don't you will need to apply a light moisturizer before you apply your foundation, especially if you live in AZ like me.
Have gotten compliments on my complexion ever since I started using it.
I go straight to the gym after work and this foundation lasts even through that.

I'm usually not a fan of liquid foundation because it looks cakey on my combination / acne prone skin, and feels itchy. But this YSL foundation changed my mind. It provides great coverage, goes on evenly and feels so comfortable you forget you have it on. That is, until you pass a mirror and notice how awesome your skin looks! It lasts longer if you apply a powder foundation on top, or even something like Mineral Veil by Bare Minerals. I really love this foundation.

I have tried a lot of make-up, I have acne prone skin and I prefer more coverage. This is a GREAT make up, it provides great coverage, is good for those with oily skin as it is oil free and it is SPF-15.

Quick Take: moisturizing
This is about my third or fourth bottle of this foundation. I have tried others in between but I keep coming back to this one. It covers well, but is not too caky looking and it stays on well. There are only two things I don't like and they both have to do with the packaging. The foundation number rubs off the bottle so you do not know which one it was the next time you go to buy it. Also, when you squirt the foundation out you have no control over how much you get. YSL - you need to fix these things!

Excellent foundation, blends well and makes my skin look great without a heavy makeup look.
I have been a mineral makeup user for years, but this foundation was what won me over.
I didn't give it five stars because it wasn't particularly moisturizing, but it still looked good on my dry skin.

What a disappointment!

Quick Take: moisturizing
I was highly disappointed with this foundation. First, I barely was able to find a color that matched my skin tone because the darkest color that's manufactured for this line is "09 Honey," which is definitely for African Americans, but is really really light. For crying out loud, I'm lighter than Beyonce and this foundation was almost too light for my skin. Anyway, I got color matched in a Sephora store, and it seemed like I was in the clear. I tried it on at home and the formula is not very pigmented. It makes me look pale and ghost-like. I let it sit on my face for about 20 minutes because usually when the oil from my skin meets the foundation, the color corrects. It didn't. As you can tell, I'm disappointed. I can say though that the coverage exceeded my expectations, so if you can find a color that matches your skin, you should go for it. Unfortunately, most Black girls that are even a shade darker than me (which wouldn't be that dark) cannot wear this foundation.

Love this foundation

This is my daytime and night-time foundation. I used to have for each, but this foundation comes out so natural that I can use it for both. The texture is perfect and it gives good coverage without caking up and looking like a second layer on your skin. It blends in well and makes your skin look absolutely beautiful! This foundation is perfect.

great colors for very fair skin-the opal is great for very fair skin-doesn't make you look pasty because it has a touch of pink-looks pinker than it comes off-stays on all day too without drying
