Quick Take: non-sticky, flavored
I really loves these lip stains! They are very very VERY pigmented, so you want to be careful when applying. They do smell like cake, which doesn't bother me, but if your sensitive to smells you may want to buy with caution. It also made my lips look a little dry, but you can solve that problem with some clear chap stick over top. These also work very well with the lip liners, so i suggest you get those too. Over all, I'm really enjoying this product.

Quick Take: non-sticky, just ok
I love these creamy lip stains, but don't be fooled. They do wear off. With that said, Sephora's lip stain is half the price, is just as nice, with a better red, and lasts just as long as this one from Stila.

AMAZING PRODUCT

Quick Take: non-sticky
I wore this product to the pitchfork music festival on july 15th. It was crazy hot outside and through all the sweat and heat and nastiness of the day the color did not move at all. It stayed beautifully vibrant throughout the whole festival and i only touched up the middle once through the course of the day. THIS PRODUCT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Quick Take: dry, drying, matte, accentuates vertical lip lines
This product (Dolce) looks great in the tube and when first applied, it is creamy, pretty, and smells nice. Then, in a matter of minutes it takes a really bad turn... When dry, this product is ultra matte, dry, drying, and accentuates vertical lip lines. It looked really bad. Thank goodness it was a freebie, otherwise it would go straight back.

Vibrant long-wearing color, with downsides

Like others have said, Tesoro is violently poppy red with orange undertones. Comments I've received while wearing it: "That lipstick is BEAUTIFUL!" and "You're wearing something that dark in daytime?!?"
The lasting power is awesome. I put it on in the morning and don't have to reapply until after lunch. It dries down to a very matte finish. There's something kind of retro about how it looks.
Downsides: Drying. Has a weird taste to it--like the flavor of red birthday cake frosting. Not crazy about the color, but will definitely try some of the other shades.

I bought this in Caprice after my friends daughter tried it on.....and I loved it! I'm not usually a lipstick girl, I tend to stick with light glosses. However, after a few days of sporting this hot pink I will never go back! Everyone from my husband to coworkers to perfect strangers have complimented me on this fabulous color. I have dark hair and fair skin....... With some mascara and a touch of blush, I look totally done!

super easy to apply, amazing color stays on for hours! goes on wet but ends up matte, use a gloss over it for shine. i can have full meals and go hours without any touch up! amazing pigment as well

Stila's Firey lip color is the best lip color I've ever tried. Not only does it complement my skin tone exceptionally well, but it's also tototally long lasting, has an incredible matte finish, and it is super low/no maintenance.
It sounds absurd, but I literally get complemented daily on the color and finish. It complements a variety of complexions, too-- I've recommended it to friends and others with extremely fair to extremely colored complexions and it's amazing how lovely the color adapts.
I totally recommend this lip color. I doubt I'll ever go back to regular lipstick. For the long lasting and totally complementary color and finish, you can't beat it. I'm smitten with Stila.

Quick Take: wonderful, longlasting, none transferable once set
I love love love this lipstain ... I ordered fiery ,and the color is just the right red red .I'm very happy with this product ,its a lil dry on the lips once it sets ,but I put a lil clear goss on top sometimes... I would recomend this to anyone who wants a lasting lipstain that will not tranfer or smodge...

I got this in both petal and coral. The petal is too pink for me - not as soft as I assumed from the description. But I love the coral. It is not as drying as other lip stains that I have tried. So, overall I think it is a good product if you get the right color. Wish I didn't live in such a rural area and then I could've tried it at the store before buying.

I usually don't wear red but I saw fiery red on my cousin and I just had to buy it! The color is a deep red that flatters all skin tones and has amazing staying power. It is a bit dry like all long wearing lipsticks but it's good enough, just wear a little chapstick over it or clear gloss. I warn you be careful when applying since you almost have to remove your make up if you mess it up. The color is beautiful, high impact, very classy and elegant. Definitely a good buy!

Quick Take: not for me
I don't know if I am too much of a novice to wear long wearing lipstick. It felt gross and dry, the color was a clownish pink, which to be honest really isn't that wild because my skin is as white as it comes. I was not a fan and returned it immediately.

I bought this lip color in Fiery over the weekend, and I've never received so many compliments in all my life on my lips. It's bold, but flattering. I'm a little too conservative to wear it to work, but I think it's great any other time. The only not so great things is common for most stains, long lastting lip colors, and matte lipsticks-- it shows the lines in lips very easily. I used a lip primer before applying, and it helped a lot.

Withstands eating, drinking, general debauchery

Quick Take: non-sticky, matte
This is amazing. Once dried and blotted, it lasts for hours and hours without need for a touchup. I drank and ate with it on, and it still remained perfect. It doesn't crack or rub off either. When applying, you definitely don't need a lot. It spreads opaque even when applied thinly, and you don't want or need it to be thick.
It WILL rub off onto clothes, so just be careful. I also noticed that the part of my lip that's closest to my mouth started to fade after a while, but that's really not a big deal. It's to be expected. It is a little drying, but some balm (once the lip color dries) could remedy that quickly.

This stays on all day! While it might be a bit drying, it can be remedied by a quick swipe of lipbalm. I don't even need to line my lips as the colour payoff is so opaque! I love the matte finish. I highly recommend this!!!
