I am very, very pale, especially in the winter. I use this luminizing foundation primer and it gives me just enough of a pick-me-up in color that I look alive. In addition, it creates a very light but smooth base. Blush goes over it like a charm.

If you knew me, you already know that i would never pay $40 for this little tube of make up. It wasn't until after my sample ran out (for the 5th time) that I realized how much I loved it. Let me tell you, this baby packs a beautiful punch. Lightweight, smooth finish and gives your face a glamorous glow. I will probably be using this product till the day i die. Thank You smashbox ;*

Since I had loved SmashBox's Photo Finish Foundation Primer, I decided to branch out with their products and give this a try.
With my acne and let's be honest, some acne scars, I wanted a beauty product that would even out my skin tone. Though I have and have tried 3 (drugstore) brands of BB cream that could also do the job of evening out my skin tone, I wanted something that was much more lightweight and not too "make up-y" if I wanted to wear it alone.
As with the Photo Finish Foundation Primer, it does help make up go on smoother and stay on. The primer is really lightweight and does not affect my acne or eczema. The luminizing part - not too much but not too little.
A small amount goes a long way. Too much of it does make you look a little to bronzy.

It's not really luminizing or at least its not the right kind of luminious. My face has a hint of orange afterward. And its drying, for dry skin at least. Will not buy again.

Quick Take: smooth silky a perfect very light tan.
Want a warm glow without the sun creating it? This is your product. It slips on beautifully, spreads easily and gives me the tiniest sense of being tan. I put no make-up over it. I am 66.

I was hoping this would give me the "summer in winter" glow I was searching for but was disappointed. It is lightweight and fast absorbing but it made my skin feel slightly greasy and wasn't very compatible with my foundation. I may have to try it a few more times to see what I can with it but as of now, I wouldn't repurchase.

had gotten a sample of this from Sephora and liked it so muh I bought the full size. Don't let the color fool you, the coverage is very sheer and that's a good thing! I use this under my loose powder, no creme/liquid foundation used. I have a problem with products making my skin look shiny but this one doesn't at all. Gives my face a very smooth finish.

At first I was skeptical about purchasing this because I wasn't sure how well the coverage would be, however, it is the most amazing primer/foundation I have ever used! Super easy to blend, great coverage without looking like you're wearing any makeup, light, doesn't break me out, just overall a great product. I strongly recommend!!!

I love this product! I never take the time to write reviews, but I feel like this deserves a good write up. This foundation primer does not make your face look orange in any way. It gives your face a perfect glow, and a little bit of color. You almost could wear it without anything on on top of it! I have never used a primer before...but this came as a sample from another order I placed. I am now hooked and will be ordering the full size bc my sample is almost out!

I would not use this product as a primer but I like it for just about anything else. It is golden unlike a lot of white/iridescent illuminzers out there. It's great for highlighting but too much for a primer. I don't think I want something so shimmery against my bare skin.

I just recived a deluxe sample of this primer with my order less than a week ago. I cannot tell you how much I love this primer! If you've ever used smashbox primer before, you know its an awesome product ... I also have used the regular no color primer ...
I put it on before using my bare minerals powder and it shines through just enough to give me a healthy glow! I was a little worried reading some other reviews, because I have very fair skin and I did not want an orange looking face ... but it almost rubs in colorless with a hint of illuminizer!
Id recommend this to anyone looking for a new primer and a healthy glow! I believe it is worth the money because you only need a VERY LITTLE amount!

I did not like this at all. It gave me a very shimmery, orange finish and accentuated all my pores and imperfections - so basically did the opposite of what a primer should do. Maybe this would work well if used sparingly as a highlighter, but it's not appropriate as a primer.

I am in LOVE with this product and I've only been using it for two days. Based on some of the other reviews, I applied very cautiously - a little goes a loooong way. My boyfriend has been extremely affectionate the past couple days and when I asked why he said, "I don't know, you're just looking gorgeous...like your skin looks really good." Literally, a dude, said my skin had been looking good. Weird. But, I'm sold! (I love the way it looks, too, it's just proof that it's subtle, but definitely noticeable)
