Quick Take: like fresh picked jasmine
I love the scent of Jasmine. While I've tried many popular brands of perfumes with high notes of Jasmine, nothing comes closer to the real thing than this scent of California Star Jasmine by Pacifica.
The high note is Jasmine, but fused with Driftwood and Orange, the overall frangrance is still clean and floral. Plus there's no heavy alcohol smell on the initial take, which is what I find in most perfumes.
I love that by the end of the day, the fragrance softens to a hint of Jasmine, especially around my hair and clothes.

A Breath of Fresh Air

Quick Take: ethereal
This is a California coastal town, bottled and ready to enchant. Having grown up along the Central Coast of CA, and having smelled the night blooming star jasmine on my nightly jog during the summer months, I can confirm that this scent really manages to captivate something I'm very familiar with - a sunny CA coastal neighborhood on a midsummer night. The orange note is bright and airy and livens the floral note up a bit, and the woody note is very faint, but adds just the slightest bit of complexity.
For the price, you really cannot beat this jasmine scent, and I'd have given it five stars if it had lasted just a tiny bit longer. I've had extremely bad luck with the lasting power of Pacifica's solid perfumes (I've tried them in Tahitian Gardenia, Tuscan Blood Orange and Indian Coconut Nectar and none lasted at all on my skin), so I bought this in the roller ball, which is an improvement, but doesn't give me more than an hour (two at most) of wear before fading away. It's enough time to uplift my mood and snatch a few compliments, though. Overall, recommended!

I am a sucker for anything jasmine... candles, bath gel, body lotion, hand soap.... so you can imagine how excited I was to see this fragrance added the the pacifca line up... this natural, light, delightful scent.... It was sold out my first order attempt, but sephora let me know when it was back in stock and I made sure to order right away.

Bought both the lotion and the roll-on and I love them both! The lotion has a nice consistency and moisturizes well, and both the lotion and roll-on smell great. I am a fan of floral scents, so these were a nice addition.

This scent is great if you love the scent of Jasmine like me. A little bit goes a long way though, and it might be a little overpowering for some people. I always get compliments when I wear it!

I already have the Mediterranean Fig and French Lilac, which I love, just wanted to find something new. This scent is lovely. It is stronger and longer lasting than the ones I already have, but is quickly becoming my favorite.

Quick Take: quite floral
I love Pacifica. However, this scent was was too floral for me. Most perfumes give me a headache, so I gear towards Pacifica's fruity smells. This does smell like Jasmine, which is usually light and ok for me, but this one is just too much. However, if you do like this scent, it's good to know that the fragrance lasts all day...unlike some of the solid perfumes they have.

I love every body lotion by Pacifica. The scents are dead-on but not too strong, the right amount of moisture and it melts right into my skin. The price point is excellent.

The fragrance is not really my style and it's also very heavy unlike the other Pacifica scents. It's a very woody scent, so it might appeal to some but I prefer the lighter, frutier scents so I am not too happy with this. Won't be buying again.

Quick Take: rich, floral, pretty
This is the 4th scent I own from Pacifica (they have a bunch more on Pacifica's website than Sephora carries) and I just adore them. This body butter is rich and smells AMAZING. It's not a heavy jasmine, but a light one that I will be able to wear in the cold and warm weather. Good work again Pacifica!

The solid perfume smells pretty good- clean, fresh, but a little manufactured. It should not be put on somewhere really visible because it leaves a little bit of shiny residue, but it lingers nicely and you only need a little to go a long way. In this way, I think it will last me a while and may be worth the pricey $9.

Love the fact that I can travel with it, without fear of leaking bottles -- but feel that solid scents don't last long enough, and lose their scent quite quickly as a large surface area is exposed.

Quick Take: just lovely
This is my third favorite scent by Pacifica. I initially didn't lilke the top note but now I do and the dry down is so gorgeous and subtle! Very sexy scent. If you love California Star Jasmine, you may also like French Lilac and Waikiki Pikake (hint, Sephora).
