Quick Take: good value, great for thick hair, great for frizzy unrully hair, lasts a long time, smells great, helps you use fewer defrizzing products
Absolutely love this set. You need to use VERY little of the shampoo and conditioner. Usually I have to add tons of products to keep my frizzy thick hair under control. Not after using these! Incredible value as well. And I've used just about everything!

I am giving this 4 stars even though I had to return it. I loved how it made my hair feel after. It was silky smooth. Unfortunately my hair is fine and straight and became too oily too quickly using this. Loved the overnight treatment though. I think I'll try another from this brand.

Love the hairspray - good hold and smell. Hair is definitely shinier overall and after 2 weeks of using, it seems healed from over-styled hair. I have long, thick hair and it didn't weigh my hair down. I had to use a large quarter size amount of shampoo and sometimes had to shampoo twice to get hair clean. Also, not sure but it seems like hair grew a ton faster than usual.

Quick Take: good value, high quality, moisturizing
I am in love with these products! I am mixed Asian with hair that is very thick and very resistant to dyes and bleaching. I have gone from an almost black color to a very light golden blonde. My hair is super dry and damaged, but not fried. I saw extreme results from the first time I used these. It really brought my hair back to being manageable. I've used these for 4 days now and my hair is starting to feel like real hair again. I also love that these are sulfate and paraben free. Even after I stop dying my hair, i will continue to purchase these in the larger sizes.

Started with the travel size , pea size drop of shampoo, need to rinse and repeat. That is a must. Pea size of conditioner, two minutes, rinse . My colored, graying drying out dull hair felt better just after the frist try. The overnight hair rescue, I thought would be a hassle, not. Again a small amount on dry hair, go to bed or walk around house for eight hours. You can't even tell it's in your hair. It's like a leave in conditioner. Wash like normal after it's had a chance. OMG at last, hair that shines, soft and looks twenty years younger. At least the hair. Hair spray.Love it. I will now by all the large sizes. With the little amounts you need to use these large sizes will last for several months. Now Alterna an anti aging cream that is reasonably priced.

I don't think I have every written a product review, but this line is amazing. I have fine, color treated hair. My hair is soft, my fly aways are essentially7 gone and the product smooths my hair without weighing it down. I bought the trial size to try it out, but will be buying the full size for sure!

I almost never review any products, but this one deserved one! If you have a dry, frizzy hair, then this is what you need. I agree that it may make your hair kind of flat, but your hair will never be that soft with any other product - and I have certainly used all of them.

I have colored, dry hair. Since using this product my hair has gone from dry to normal! It is expensive but worth the price, and a little goes a long way. Also noticed a difference with frizzies.

I have spent sooo much money looking for a shampoo and conditioner that works for my fine, easily-damaged hair. I started using the bamboo oil by Alterna, which helped my hair a lot, so I bought this travel kit. I LOVE it! So glad that I can stop searching for hair products now. So here is the breakdown:
Shampoo: A tiny bit really does go a long way. It cleanses well, and isn't harsh or damaging. There is a faint scent that is pleasant.
Conditioner: This is the best part. Massage it into your hair, and then take time to run your fingers through your hair as you rinse it out. My hair feels like silk after I give it this TLC.
Hairspray: The only hairspray that gives my insanely-difficult-to-curl-bone-straight-hair any real results is Kenra. However, I loved how gentle this hairspray is. It's perfect for lightly setting hair. Also, the scent is very nice and not strong.
Leave-in treatment: Bought this kit a month ago, but haven't used this piece yet! Can't wait to see how it works. Even if it doesn't work at all, my advice would be to buy this awesome kit anyways.

Quick Take: good at conditioning moisturizing...
i've used this product once, shampoo and conditioner. my hair is dry, baby fine and full...it certainly did condition and super-soften it, but after putting my usual root lifter, volumizer and mousse in, a few sprays of hairspray, it's still soft, fluffy, but as flat as could be! doesn't even shine as much as other products i'm testing out and love...not impressed at this time...may try it again at some point...

Alterna brand is a great sulfate-free line that keeps my hair looking healthy and shiny...this set is a perfect size to take with me when I travel. I have used all the products in set, except for the overnight hair rescue, and highly recommend the shampoo, conditioner and hair spray. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the containers are not refillable/reusable, and that's not very green of Alterna. I have the large sizes at home for daily use, and would have loved that the travel size can be refilled.

This by far the best hair products I have ever used!! It even out does Wen. I have very dry over proscessed thin hair.Not any more,when I use these products my hair has shine,bounce and is actually thicker.Worth every penney!!!

I liked this set- it was great to travel with and the hairspray is awesome- will definetly be purchasing that- but the treatment and the actual shampoo and conditioner were only so-so for my hair type.

Quick Take: high quality
I liked this set so much that I recently purchased the larger bottles and the hair serum. The shampoo lathers very well , which I sometimes don't find in a sulfate-free shampoo. This set really did (for me) what the label claims it can do! My hair was clean, shiny, bouncy, and very manageable. The scent is nice...clean and not too overwhelming. The only thing that I wouldn't buy again is the hairspray but only because I rarely use it. I'm happy that I tried these products.

Quick Take: smooth, silky, rich, yummy smelling
I love this line. My hair is happy since I started using this line. My favorite thing about Alterna is what is not in their products (parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, phthalates, etc.) It makes my hair feel healthy.
