I've been having with issues with shampoo's and conditioners leaving my hair either to oily or too soft (I know who complains about too soft hair). However, this shampoo is just perfect.

fantastic volumizing shampoo!

Great for fine hair that's colored. Not only has it given me great body after blow drying my hair, but I think it's actually prolonging my need to re-color. I go about every 8 or 9 weeks to the salon for color, and usually by that time you can see the few grays I have, since I've started using this I can't see them as quickly - wonderful for my brown/red coloring at least. Love it!

I have fine/thin hair but a lot of it. My hair looks greasy after a day and I need something gentle enough to use everyday that won't dry. While this does fit that, for the costis too high in my opinion for the amount you have to use - my hair is about an inch past my shoulders and I use about a quarter size amount 2 times for it to feel clean.

Quick Take: leaves hair dry and unmanageable, doesn't lather well
I got this a while ago and just recently tried it. The shampoo doesn't lather well and I felt I had to use A LOT (a third) to do two washes. Not crazy about the scent either. In the end I was left with very dry, unmanageable hair that took forever to untangle. I give one star to the packaging that is really nice the rest it is definitely not worth it. I do not recommend it.

SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER WORK WELL

Quick Take: foamy, good for daily use, gentle, works well with conditioner
At the present, I have no allegiance to any brand of hair product, except for a month Ojon hair treatment which I find to be phenomenal. I've been trying a lot of different things, trying to find what will work best for my long hair. I recently tried Alterna's Caviar Anti-Aging Volume Shampoo and also the Conditioner, and I was very pleased with both. My hair felt very soft and was easy to style. Since my hair (because of the volume and length) takes over an hour to style with heat, even at the salon, I've been rolling it on some jumbo rollers and letting it air dry, so I can do something else while it's drying.
I find that the two products used together give my hair a little bit of extra bounce, and that my hair feels very soft. I live in the hot humid South, and this also seems to give me good control, too. I've been pleased with both the shampoo and the conditioner. It seems very gentle, I like the way it foams, and it seems good for even everyday shampoo, although I try to go longer, at the suggestion of my stylist. With this shampoo and conditioner, I feel I can do that easily. Give them a try - you might be very pleased with the effects. I am.

Most of the volume shampoos I've tried don't hold body or are really dry on my hair...This product is great because it creates long lasting body and moisturizes at the same time.

Quick Take: good for daily use
This product smells great and works well. Although a little conditioner is need and the bottle is small for the price. I am still a fan and will continue to use this product if not everyday at least the days I want my hair to shine .

Quick Take: good for daily use
I have very fine, limp hair that's hard to style. I've been using this shampoo for about six months and I can tell the biggest difference in my hair. My hair has more volume and shine and it smells great! Definitely worth the money.

I have lots of very baby fine hair. Most products weigh my hair down or make it oily right away, but this shampoo is wonderful when followed by the conditioner. One problem is that because my hair is so fine it does tangle easily, and this shampoo does cause massive tangling! I've found that if I comb the conditioner through it makes a HUGE difference!
I've always had to wash my hair every day, but I don't have that problem with this shampoo.
Because I have such baby fine hair, my hair has always been very soft and silky. The problem with soft silky hair is that you can't style it, so if you want super soft silky soft hair, this wont give you that. This shampoo gives you FULL hair that you can actually style. It is probably not for people with fuller thick hair.

It was between getting my ends trimmed again or going for Caviar. For years I have been trying to grow my hair however I was "forced" to get my ends trimmed every 6 weeks. I also have a sensitive scalp making me allergic to tons of hair products. This line has literally mended my ends, my hair is easier to comb and does not tangle, cut off the frizziness, shines, well it's like having "young" hair again. I am using the Conditioner as well. Just ordered 4 more products. If you have lost the elasticity to your hair and your hair is breaking I recommend you give this line a try. Also, unlike other shampoos this is extremely concentrated. All you need is a quarter size where other shampoos you need a handfull. LOVE!

This does it all...gives volume, cleans without stripping, makes my color last longer. Also seems to make my hair easier to comb through. Only downfall is the bottle is smaller then expected but a LITTLE bit goes a long way. I would buy again :)

I really like this shampoo and the way it keeps my hair color from fading. I gave it 4 stars because the bottle was surprisingly smaller than I expected for the PRICE I paid.

Quick Take: amazing
I love,love,love this shampoo. I received a sample and noticed that I didn't have to shampoo my hair for four days. I'm usually a once a day shampooer. It makes my hair feel soft, shiny and clean.

Quick Take: gentle
My hair feels weightless, healthy, and clean after every wash! I have really enjoyed the benefits of this shampoo. The fragrance is nice and subtle, and the shampoo lathers easily. My hair dye color appears more vibrant with this shampoo. My hair has a tendency to get oily, with this shampoo I find that my hair feels clean through out the day. But I do need to wash daily to maintain results. However the volumizing ability seems to be on the subtle side, I've been using this shampoo about a month and a half, I notice some extra volume but over all it doesn't seem all that different than other shampoos in terms of adding volume to the hair. I usually like to wash my hair in the morning so that it's extra clean for the day, if you want more dramatic volume you should try washing your hair at night and drying it fully before you sleep. I notice heavy volume when I wash my hair before I sleep but I don't know if it's just me because it happens with any shampoo I use.

After reading the reviews for this shampoo, I decided to try it. I have fine hair so I try to find volumizing shampoos that won't burn my hair. This shampoo dried my hair out and made it look like broom straw. It also left my hair feeling very heavy. For the price, I expected better than a dime store shampoo.
